He coordinated with PSE to shut off the power and with the City to perform an inspection. The equipment installed was top notch and the handiwork was meticulous. Due to the condition of the existing wiring there were several problems encountered. Reuben and his son worked through the issues and successfully completed the installation. The initial estimate didn't factor in all of the additional work and materials required. But the final reckoning was very reasonable. A bedroom smoke alarm battery died around 6 a.m, 10/24/23. The alarm kept chirping (nice word for…read morean annoying sound blast) every 5 minutes or so. I got my ladder (at 80 years old) and tried to insert a new 9V battery. I failed and dislodged the unit from its base. The sound blast continued every 5 seconds or so. Chris Schumacher called us that evening to see how everything went and to inform us that a guard of some kind had to be placed over the breaker, and it was back ordered. As soon as they received the braker cover they scheduled a day for the install. JR came.at the designated time, was again very courteous, cleaned up his work area as he had done on his first visit to do the braker, and wiring install. Service calls like this often leave me feeling more stressed and exhausted, or in the best case feeling neutral and glad when they're over. This experience was great.
