    I just had them a Sonos home theater in my house, and I love it!! There's no wires on the mounted tv, the new Sony blu-ray player has apps like Pandora, and the sub has DEEP bass. I would give them 5 stars for the amazing installation, but I had to bump one down because the customer service could improve. I'm no tech savvy person. I don't understand a lot with electronics. But it was unnecessary when the guy that did the estimate raised his voice at me. I quickly told him, and he apologized. I'll still continue service with them when when needed.

Costs: If you are upgrading your home network or other capability, and need to buy new/more gear, Shawn doesn't charge a markup on the equipment. In fact, once he's designed your solution he will provide you with links to the exact products required and let you buy them directly from the vendors if desired. Or he'll buy them himself and present you with the receipts. Hourly rate: With the skills Shawn possesses, his hourly rate is substantial. And it should be. However, you can still bring your project in at a very reasonable cost PROVIDED you can be a smart customer. By this I mean you must be clear on the capabilities you want to achieve--or at least be able to listen to Shawn describe what's possible and then make rapid decisions. If instead you want a lot of customer education, Shawn can do that too because he knows an immense amount about IT and can communicate effectively. However, it's a bit like paying for a neurosurgeon to teach you about the types of aspirin available to treat a headache. That doesn't make sense; get a nurse instead! In my case, my wife and I work from the house. My goals were to increase the reliability of our home network. We wanted better maintainability (so when the internet goes down I can rapidly identify the problem and fix it). We wanted better network security. I wanted to add a home security camera because of problems with car prowls, etc. And finally, I wanted to move our networking gear out of our super-hot furnace room to a cooler and cleaner location. This was a lot. Other vendors had previously failed to come up with an affordable solution--or any solution at all. Shawn showed us how to do it for a very reasonable sum. Once we had a plan, I was able to control costs by getting a carpenter friend to open up the wall and pull wires through to the new location for the gear. Shawn also kept costs down by allowing me to provide extra hands as he mounted gear on the wall, connected all of our wireless access points to the new console, etc. These steps all require two people. Shawn was willing to let me help and he even maintained a high level of wit and good-natured ribbing throoughout the long day of work. In sum: great outcome, great satisfaction, great price.     Mike migrated two PCs for us, in our home, one of which was Windows 7 to Windows 11. I wasn't shy…read moreabout my total skepticism of his process, and Mike was reassuring within reason. He did both machines in less than a day and the transfer of programs was altogether seamless. I still am amazed at how smoothly it all went, and how my entire system copied over to the new machine with all the same context menus, file paths, and personal configurations like customized toolbars and procedures. This would have taken an eternity to do all from scratch by myself. The old components included a hard drive that failed, and Mike was able to recover and transfer the data to a new modern SSD. During another visit, Mike set up a new wireless mesh network for not just our house but our whole property. It was a massive improvement in network performance. We can even connect from our boat! Again, Mike saved us a ton of time and a lot of headaches. He did the setup and tweaking in one hour. He does not dally or pad his visits, and makes himself available for questions and followup, without ever acting impatient or put upon. His scheduler Bev is also very easy to reach and even returns calls and email messages after hours. I could have wound up with any computer tech but was completely lucky to get Mike Cole on the first try. I highly recommend Cole Computer Services and wouldn't think of hiring another company. Additionally, I reviewed feedback on Google My Business and Yelp for further assurance. I contacted the company's owner, Aiden Won, through their website's contact page. Aiden responded within 48 hours, which I found acceptable. We arranged a meeting at my house for Aiden to assess the installation logistics and options. He asked me to consider potential camera placements beforehand. During our first meeting, Aiden's thorough assessment of my home for potential security system setups was impressive. He examined every angle and placement possibility, demonstrating his commitment to understanding the project. After Aiden's initial visit, we maintained consistent communication. Aiden was not only flexible when I suggested an alternate location for the NVR, but also provided valuable input on the system setup, demonstrating his dedication to meeting my needs. On installation day, Aiden and his colleague Michael arrived punctually at 10:30 a.m. and worked diligently until 8 p.m. They were friendly and sought my opinion on camera placement and other preferences. When unpacking the cameras, Aiden realized that his supplier had forgotten to include brackets for two cameras. He also encountered some software issues that required manufacturer support. Aiden devised a plan B to resolve these issues and assured me he would return to install the final components once the parts arrived. Two days later, with the necessary parts in hand, Aiden and Michael returned to complete the installation. They worked from 2:30 to 7 p.m. They adjusted the doorbell camera angle as requested. Aiden also addressed software and camera issues, optimizing the system settings. After setup, he ensured all cameras were correctly positioned and provided detailed instructions on managing and maintaining the system. It was clear that Aiden and Michael placed high demands on themselves to deliver quality work, which was very reassuring for me. Project: wall hang two (2) large screen TV's with hardware provided. Hello Tech representative: Devon Events: * 10:00 am Devon arrived on time. * Devon word only a mask; no booties on his shoes. The result? Mud and dirt tracked into our home. * Devon wore no gloves to protect the screens on the tv's. The result: finger prints on the screens. * Devon's tools: a home set of drill bits and driver ... all available for about $60 from Home Depot. * Devon had no vacuum cleaner. * Devon did not deploy any sheet or covering to keep wood and sheet rock dust from the floor. The result? From drilling, wood dust and sheet rock dust was dumped on our floor. * After Devon left, I had to vacuum the mess he left. * Devon was unable to drill holes in sufficient depth to accommodate the screws to mount the tv wall bracket. * Devon asked me to purchase 4 mounting screws in shorter lengths. * For the second TV, Devon was unable to drill holes in sufficient length to accommodate the 4 mounting screws for the wall bracket. * Lacking the needed tools, Devon asked me to purchase a bit extender. * Devon was unable to complete the project because he was not prepared with the proper tools. * We discussed the options and mutually agreed that Devon would return at 10:00 am the next day and I would purchase the tools Devon needed. * At 10:00 am the next day, Devon was a no show. Devon never called. * At 10:30 I called HelloTech and learned that Devon had cancelled the project and I would have to reschedule the project. * I rescheduled the project for 4:00 pm and was told that Matt would be the HelloTech service person. * At approximately 12:00 pm I received a text message asking for photos of the project. * At approximately 12:10 I received a text message offering me several alternative dates and times for the service. * I asked why I was told Matt would arrive at 4:00 pm yet I was now being told Matt would not perform the service and I would have to reschedule the service. * I replied that I would not reschedule the service. In Summary: Devon was totally unprepared for the task. He lacked the tools, courtesy needed to provide the service (vacuum, booties, etc.), he asked me, the customer, to purchase the needed tools and, he cancelled the project without consulting, notifying me or receiving my approval. HelloTech scheduled Matt to perform the service but within 10 minutes told me I would have to reschedule the service ... no explanation as to why. If Devon is the face of HelloTech, HelloTech has a very, very serious problem.

The day before they were scheduled to come they canceled online through email....When I called they rescheduled me but then canceled again the day before. I didn't reschedule this time because I figured out my problem after a bunch of google searches. The following month I was billed $15 for a HelloTech membership so I went online, logged in, and canceled the membership. I got a cancellation confirmation email. Then the next month I was billed another $15 for a HelloTech membership. I thought maybe I'd done something wrong online so I called and canceled my membership. They told me it hadn't been canceled but that they would cancel it and assured me now it was canceled. The following month I was billed and called again with them saying sorry we will cancel and that went on for another month before I called and asked for a refund. They apologized and told me they would cancel it and refund me all the times I'd been billed. I was not refunded and the following month I was charged another $15 for the HelloTech membership! I called my bank and canceled my debit card! - Just runaway from this place....
