I am far from a professional when it comes to IT installations, but I know enough to be dangerous. And after getting quotes to install ethernet in my 1980s circa home, one never wired for ethernet, one that just went through a significant renovation where I, in my supreme wisdom said "WiFi is great, now! Who need hardwires anymore?" was now faced with retrofitting several rooms and office with ethernet and said, this guy over here, the independent with a normal sounding company name, yeah - lets go with him! Mistake!! After schedule, and reschedule, and delays, and reschedule, we got nowhere with contractor number one. Meanwhile, Roberto and Peter at Those Tech Guys had patiently followed up several times, continued to be pleasant and professional, and AFTER I said no thank you I am going to go with someone else! So I made the dreaded call back - "So remember when I said if things change . . . " Peter was quick to jump on the phone, and walk me through things at every step. Gave me a highly competitive bid, and an install time of only a few days from when I called. They cam onsite, were clean courteous, and efficient. They played with my dog (I mean who doesn't love a bowling ball Staffy Bull Terrier mix?) and made light work of the install, and the final cost (with tip!) was even below the initial quote. This was made possible as Peter walked my home and together we found opportunities to do things more quickly, and save a few dollars along the way. In the end, I didn't choose Those Tech Guys first, but you should. No regrets here, other than I should have picked them first!

They showed up right on time and got right to work. They did everything quickly and pleasantly and exactly as asked; they even figured out stuff that I wouldn't have been able to explain--even though all the equipment was already here, it wasn't stuff they sold. They upgraded our blown speakers and left everything in perfect shape, nice and clean. We couldn't be happier with the work.

Steve came up with the idea of a Samsung Frame TV, using the existing long unused ceiling speakers, and adding a Sonos 5 for music streaming. Within 10 days from start to finish, the project was completed. The installers were efficient, respectful of my space, and tidy. The entire experience was very positive and I love the end result. We wanted to install a 70 inch tv on a moveable mount in the only place it would fit (above a weird, fake fireplace that came with the house). Friends suggested going with one of those cheap $70/hour places but we wanted it done right and safe. When we found this place, it first seemed a little too fancy and I worried they wouldn't do a small job like this, but Rob was great about explaining the cost and process and everything worked out. Very happy with the end result and we can sleep comfortable knowing it won't fall on one of our pets. Highly recommend.

Sharing my nightmare experience with Redmond Home Theater and Audio Visual Design…read more Paid thousands of dollars to have a home theater installed. Their installer kept giving excuses for why they job was not done (missed important completion date for a family event) and at one point literally lied to me about the screen that he was getting for me (claiming it was a higher grade screen). In the end, they demanded payment and left me with a set-up that does not show any video at all... I suspect they used the incorrect HDMI cable and picked the least expensive cable. So... I have 7 speakers, a state of the art projector and a beautiful screen but cannot watch anything on it. My iPad works better that their set-up at this point. Oh, and they apparently though it was acceptable to leave the job with two large holes in the wall... SEE PICTURES for proof. Either stay away or do business with this company at your own risk.ñlñ
