It's hard enough to ask people for help - it makes it harder when the request itself is ignored. Turns out I only needed to upgrade my subwoofer from a 10" to paired 12"s - so H2 lost an easy $3.5k sale and gets a bad review out of it. The storeroom is a nice place to shop, conveniently located in Proctor with ample free street parking in the area. We got a consultation in our home so that we could see the products in our space. The quote was given right away. The salesmen was very helpful and told us that the Hunter Douglas line is a lifetime type of purchase and therefore pricier than other options. Ultimately we chose a less expensive option but I think this store is worth a look, especially if you want something less common or have a more complicated situation.

They had a few issues with the process, but what blew me away was that every time I found a problem the owner immediately wrote me a check to cover the damage with no hesitation. Overall though it is a good product, it did a great job of sealing around all of the top and bottom plates, and I'm sure a bunch of other places I can't see. The aerobarrier got me down to 1.2 ach50, which surpassed my target. Their main guy was out of town, so they sent a less experienced tech. They ended up not taping off all of the plumbing penetrations, so we ended up getting sealant stuck in the dryer vent, b-vent, and a few other places. They either sent someone immediately to clean it up, or paid to replace the item when cleaning wasn't possible. They gave me an extra refund for the trouble. I wished I had the more experienced tech for the blower door, as this guy missed several things that would have improved the score. There was a window which was ajar, some plumbing penetrations which weren't taped off, and the HVAC duct work to the original house (which was square footage excluded from the test) needed to be taped off but wasn't. He also didn't know how to do a duct leakage test to the exterior (running duct leakage during blower door essentially). But I can't complain too much, as I still received a score which exceeded my expectations.

Day of service and my tech was Horhay who was knowledgeable and mindful before entering into his work. After installation of the inverter cable from battery to rear of the cab he took me through his work sharing what he did and why. We also discussed the scope of what would be required for a future install of the "Big 3" and I left grateful at the competency I'd just experienced. It's a good shop doing excellent work and I have no reservations recommending them to the community.

Over the past several years I've worked with them on the installation of an outdoor sound and video system as well as installation of outdoor shades for our upper and lower decks. They've done those jobs professionally and to a high level of quality, but you'd expect that working with a high end AV company. Recently while cleaning out an IT closet, we came across a number of items that were ordered on our behalf but ended up not being used during our installation. They had been sitting in our closet for the past four + years. Initially I was upset about why we had purchased these items if they weren't going to be used. During the course of the install parameters changed and I guess they became unnecessary. When I reached out to the company, even with the amount of time that had lapsed, they gave me full credit for these items and gave me my money back. Says alot about the company to me. These guys have earned my business with their good work, but keep it by doing the right thing.

No communication on what they were going to put in. We want to simply listen to music using our cellphones a remotes. They won't let you do that. You get on clunky controller that will work. Having just completed a remodel, I was not interested in ripping into the newly painted walls and ceiling. Steve came up with the idea of a Samsung Frame TV, using the existing long unused ceiling speakers, and adding a Sonos 5 for music streaming. Within 10 days from start to finish, the project was completed. The installers were efficient, respectful of my space, and tidy. The entire experience was very positive and I love the end result. We wanted to install a 70 inch tv on a moveable mount in the only place it would fit (above a weird, fake fireplace that came with the house). Friends suggested going with one of those cheap $70/hour places but we wanted it done right and safe. When we found this place, it first seemed a little too fancy and I worried they wouldn't do a small job like this, but Rob was great about explaining the cost and process and everything worked out. Very happy with the end result and we can sleep comfortable knowing it won't fall on one of our pets. Highly recommend.

They showed up right on time and got right to work.
