I want to thank Who's Your Data for the great customer service they provided. I brought in my dead backup hard drive and work was started on right away. Basic pricing was provided up front and was reasonable to me. Later that day I was informed that they could not recover the data on the hard drive. There was no charge for the attempt. I did get a recommendation of where to send the hard drive to if I wanted to spend the kind of money that would be required by a clean room data retrieval business. Nicholas, the owner, is great! My Dell laptop just suddenly will not start. I called Dell, paid their $99 service fee to try to get it fixed by a "Dell expert technician". Long story short after 6hrs on the phone with 2 "experts" my computer was still not up & running. Dell refunded me the $99 fee & told me to send my computer to their facility to be serviced. Since my laptop will not start, I was advised to find a local computer tech to help me backup my laptop before sending it to them. I'm so glad to find Nicholas. Not only was he was able to back up my computer, he was also able to get it to work within 1hr! He's a computer wiz. There was no need to send my laptop to Dell.
