I called Dr PC Fix and explained the issues to Thor and why my dad was unable to bring the computer in and would need an in home repair solution. Thor was able to come that same day after hours and fixed all of the issues that were preventing my dad from using his computer, and he also turned on an accessibility feature already in Windows that my dad can now use for speech to text in programs that he didn't know he could use speech to text. What a relief to get those issues fixed! My dad was so happy, and that makes me happy! Thor was patient and helpful. I wanted to get an extra wireless keyboard and mouse so I could have one at work and one at home and wouldn't have to carry them around. I asked about them in the store and was led to a plastic box that was filled with identical wireless keyboard mouse combos. I picked one out and asked where the chip was. This should have tipped off the clerk that I was not tech savvy. As I suspect many of there customers are not. She told me the toggle was under the mouse. I got the set home and did not see a toggle under the mouse (latter I found out she was saying dongle). I looked in the battery chambers of both the keyboard and mouse and did not see it. I called the them and was told to check the battery chambers of both the keyboard and mouse and once again I didn't see it. I was told that this would be a once in a lifetime that a chip was not with the keyboard. I brought the unit in and we looked in the keyboard battery area next. Then we looked we looked at the mouse and they pointed out a built in dongle compartment in the battery chamber of the mouse. I was never told there could be a built in compartment when I was in the store or later on the phone. I have since find some YouTube videos that explain where to find the dongle. This tells me I'm not that only one to have trouble finding it.

The jerk walks in before I can speak and says "NOTHING. HE JUST DIDN'T WANT IT". I explained it didn't fit the purpose. This is not the only place I see this trend of young associates being rude and obnoxious. Brick and Mortar stores close over things like this. If there's no Capital Investment firm to back RePC, they may follow suit of other companies soon. Too bad. Customer Service is the key to success, people. Hire better.

I brought it in here to help troubleshoot and diagnose, since it could've been the RAM, CPU, NVME SSD, or windows corrupted files. They were able to diagnose and pinpoint the causes and issues pretty quickly, and offered me several solutions to quickly be up and running with minimal downtime. I went with the 0 downtime option while I warranty claim the faulty part (NVME drive went bad but it has 4 years left on warranty). It's so good to meet fellow pc enthusiasts and I will be coming here for any future repairs or services!
