Worst excuse for computer repair ever!! Dont come here or you could leave with a computer that is not the one you brought in!!

Brought my laptop into Drew's shop for a simple repair when the hinge popped open the casing. Walked out with a busted up replacement laptop, missing data and stolen computer parts. Drew confidently told me he could replace the casing and hinge. Over two weeks go by and then I get a call from him telling me he's fried the motherboard. He tells me he's going to replace it at no charge. Another week goes by and he cannot get the computer to boot up after he replaced the motherboard. So he says he's moving my data to a new laptop of the same make and model. Another week goes by before i finally hear the job is "finished". When i show up, i notice some of my files are missing and this "new" laptop is in serious disrepair. It's dented, the hinges creak like they're about to pop open the casing, and several of the keys are worn to the point of illegibility. I mention i want my old laptop back and he complains about needing to recoup costs before relenting. When i get my old laptop back days later i take it to a more reputable computer shop who tell me the wiring was put in wrong and would eventually short the it and that it's missing the SSD, RAM and several other parts. To summarize, Drew lied that he could fix my laptop hinge, broke my machine trying to fix it, replaced it with scrap, then stole parts of my original machine. read more

Drew was wonderful. Honestly, the "Affordable" in the name holds true. You'd be hard pressed to find better prices. There was an obvious sense of care and passion for his work, as he took his time to clean the inside of my PC, and even tacked on a loose SSD I had in my case. Drew is the man. My desktop was slightly on the blink. As in, certain online video games wouldn't work...then no video games would work. My desktop had turned over five years old and I thought it was time to buy a new one (very infuriating). But, like the Paw Patrol said to do, I "Yelped for help". Drew's listing popped up. He answered and the moment I began giving context about how I built my PC and the parts I replaced when it started having issues he was suddenly rude and ended the call while I was still speaking. I looked him up. Great prices and sounded really nice on the phone and in person at first. I brought my laptop in to have the screen fixed because it had fallen off my desk and shattered. It still worked fine, turned on and everything. I ordered the part that he told me to. It got there, didn't fit. Decided to take it back and just use it for a little bit before getting it fixed somewhere else. Screen did not turn on. Took it somewhere else in a panic. Turns out it was put back together so badly that the cost of repairing it would be more than the cost of buying a new laptop. I asked for the money I paid him to put my stuff on a USB for compansation for his mistake, then he had the ordacity to tell me that I was lucky that he didn't charge me for the time he spent on my laptop, even though he told me that he doesn't charge for what he doesn't fix and that I should have taken care of my laptop better. Accidents happen. It wasn't like I was just carelessly carrying it around. Don't waste your time here. It'll just end up causing you more stress and inconvenience than need be. It may even end up costing you way more money than you would have spent anywhere else. The cheap rates are NOT WORTH IT. read more

I took my computer in because it got dinged on the left side, so in a panic I was looking for repair shops cause I was tight on money, someone found Drew's place and I thought that I might as well give it a shot. It turns out he got the repairs done like it never happened, but unfortunately the first 2 screens we ordered were broken, so I waited a bit longer than expected, but Drew didn't charge for the other screens we ordered, so in the end, I payed $70 for the frame and $94 for the, so about a total of $164. Would definitively recommend Drew for PC repairs, and he has great service! read more

I was able to have Drew of Drew's Affordable PC Services replace my broken hard drive with a new solid state hard drive very quickly. He did a great job and my laptop worked better than new. He backed up all my personal data and transferred it to my new hard drive plus he added some new software for free to help to troubleshoot in the future. Also Drew deep cleaned my screen of those pesky abrasion lines. All this for a fantastic price. I will refer him to all my friends and family, including my Yelp family. read more
