Outstanding customer service, and a great repair for the fraction of what Apple wanted. A great downtown business that I'm happy to support!! read more

This will be the second time I have used this service. Both times we have left 100% satisfied. The first time was a screen replacement on an older iPhone. There were no issues, no setbacks, just solutions. This was for my teenager, so it was appreciated to have been talked through each step of the way. The second time just the same amount of professionalism, great quality, amazing turnaround time, and detail. This was on a 16 Pro Max and it works like a brand new phone! Thank you, so much for taking care of our devices and not talking over us or acting like we are the uneducated IT techs that we are. lol We will definitely be back again if something else happens. Convenient location, easy parking great service fairly priced. read more

My husband had met Luis through some business event, so when my Apple laptop screen unfortunately broke (note to self, always check your laptop for pens before you close the lid), he recommended I go to Evolv Device Repair. I requested an appt online and Luis was very communicative it getting back to me. He always was communicative while he had my laptop while it was being repaired. Luckily he was able to do everything same day, so we did somethings in Tacoma to stay occupied while we waited. I felt like the price was decent for what needed to be repaired, plus it was way cheaper than purchasing a new repair. I would recommend this business if you need a friendly computer repair person! read more

Reached out via their messaging system and received a quick and detailed response. He was flexible with my availability and fixed my charging port faster than I was expecting and a fair pricing. Will be returning for any future repairs. Thank you Luis read more

Fast Fast Fast walk in service, nice owner- definite 5 star service and quality of parts

I've had to have work done on two phones and the service was excellent, timely, and the price was fair. I will not be going anywhere else!!

Brought my iPad in for servicing due to not being able to charge. They worked on it and tried to get it working again but was unsuccessful due to cost/ worth issues. The problem was too costly and exceeded the worth of my iPad, therefore I made the decision to not to repair it. Luis was very friendly and totally honest with me about the repairs needed. I highly recommend this place and "not" looking it returning, if I had another repair for them to tackle.... But if I do, this is the place and Luis is the one you want to help fix it!! read more

Great service, friendly, had what I needed. Had to have my IPAD screen replaced, took about 25 min. They had a comfortable sofa to sit on while waiting and a TV on. Second time I have used them. read more

Great shop and great service. Dropped my Xbox and broke the fan and he fixed it within a day.

Used this company more than once. Amazing customer service and communication. Took two PlayStation 5's in for HDMI plug in repair. Work was completed in a timely manner, and both my boys devices work like brand new. Super grateful! Would recommend this business to anyone who needs electronic repair help read more

Luis was super personable, very knowledgeable and very transparent through the quick and easy process of getting my battery replaced. Most other folks I went to agreed to the fix before even checking their stock to ensure they had the right battery. He got everything done for half the time he initially estimated and for a highly reasonable price when you factor in the one year warranty. I'll exclusively be going here for anything else device maintenance wise. read more

These guys are the absolute best. My iPhone had severe water damage. Apple wouldn't even look at it, and a national chain repair place said "don't bother, it's bricked, pool water is as bad as saltwater and ruins phones". They gave me the name of a place to ship it to that wanted $1k to $2k to recover my data while destroying the phone. I took it to Evolv, and a few days and few hundred bucks later, my phone had a new battery, new screen, worked perfectly, and contained all of my original data. They literally saved me over $1000 not even counting what a new phone would have cost! Plus, they're just good dudes with great customer service. This is the only place I'll ever trust with my device repair. read more

I've always gone here for my device repairs. Customer service always on point, quality of work is great, and you can't beat the price. The shop is clean and comfortable. Today I needed to get a clients phone fixed. They not only fixed the screen but put a screen protector on, gave her a better case, and gave her a pop socket all for free. read more

excellent, ethical , established kind and SAFE care. cost so little and saved me so much money. I will be going back next week with a second project read more

Second time coming here! No issues ever, always fairly quick turnaround! I think for market it's in, there's a lot of shady people and scammers but it's a bang for your buck and there also warranties available! I got my cracked screen fixed, and it was restored and even got a screen protector to prevent it happening again! I think they're good people, If you're looking for a space to get your phone fixed come Through! read more

Needed a new battery for my iPhone 12 max pro and Luis responded quickly to my inquiry. The work only took an hour and cost was reasonable. Luis was very personable and professional. If you need to wait for your service there is a comfortable waiting area with a tv. There is no reserved parking, but ample metered street parking for about $1 an hour. Would definitely come back. read more

Very professional, kind and honest. I will definitely go back if I ever need repairs again.

(Edited) I have gotten a response back, I do think the price for these repairs is a little high though.

Broke my phone and was looking for a solution around Tacoma-- this place had incredibly good reviews (which was a bit suspicious haha) but the service was top notch! Fixed the back of my phone (waited around 3 days for parts but the actual appointment was really fast), was very reasonably priced, and very kind staff!! Super appreciative :) read more

I cannot recommend Evolv highly enough. My daughter has been going here for 5 years for the screen protector plan, and I started with my new phone last year. Every time either of us has had to have our screen protector replaced it is fast, the owner is super friendly, and bonus it is easy to park. Yesterday my daughter bought a new phone, so went in to get her new screen protector. After an hour, she decided she wanted a different color phone, so she went back and asked if he could take off the screen protector so she could exchange it, then return for a new screen protector. He did it happily and would not accept money for it! read more

Superb help from Louis after my iphone 11 went down. He fixed the phone and installed a new battery. It's like a brand new device! Great customer service. read more

My husband called them this morning to see if they could replace the charging port on an iPad. They were very responsive and were able to accommodate us within an hour. Dropped it off and even though we couldn't remember the password, Louis was able to fix it and now we can start re-using the iPad. Thanks for all your help, we will definitely recommend you to anyone needed electronic help read more

Awesome and quick service. Great prices! Check out the lifetime warranty on phone screen cover.

Great work is done here with great care! Newer iPads are a little more difficult to work on than the older models. After having my lightning charge assembly go completely awry, I went to YouTube to see if I could fix this myself. I found out immediately that the answer was NO! I found Evolv Device Repair through Yelp and narrowed it down to them using review & location. The reviews were deserved, for sure. Luis was very communicative, assuring, and honest with an up-front flat rate estimate. I decided to throw in a much needed new battery since he was going to crack this badboy open. After a very honest disclaimer to what could go wrong, I figured that he had to say this stuff (fair enough), but that ultimately they've got the great customer rating for a reason. 48hrs later (they were busy) and it was perfect! No issues worth mentioning here and it's working great and finally keeping a charge. Saved me spending at least $400+ on a new (refurbished) iPad. read more

These people were so wonderful. They were absolutely so kind and generous. I made sure to inform them prior to fixing the iPhone 8 + that I wanted to do the bundle deal ($35 for shockproof case and tempered glass) for the phone since my husband is very known to break his phone. They even have a lifetime warranty for labor and parts if anything were to happen to the phone (excludes water damage) how freaking awesome! So satisfied with my service! Definitely coming back here if we have any issues with our phone. And honestly they're so reasonable priced. I paid $139 to fix the shattered screen ($89) & then added the bundle deal. Tax was about $13 which is reasonable too. I love how safe they are when it comes to social distancing and just handling Covid 19 in general. 1000/10 recommend this place for all Android and iPhone repairs! read more

Needed a screen repaired on my phone, and could not be more pleased with the service or price. Quick turn around time, convenient location, helpful service as soon as you walk in the door. Paid for the screen repair and it appears the camera glass on the back was repaired as well. AWESOME. Will be going back again for future work on other electronics if need arises. read more

They fixed my iPad in less than an hour & it looks brand new! Thank you so much I'm so excited.

I've brought quite a few items to Evolv device repair (IPhone & IPad ) because I'm very clumsy and always dropping stuff / cracking screens. Evolv has been there for me to quickly replace my shattered glass & hook it up with a new screen protector. It is easy to make an appointment through their website, and the price is reasonable. Love that they have an option for a 25$ screen protector which u can get replaced (for free) as often as needed. Service is always friendly , and quick. read more

As a student I was devastated when my iPad screen and display shattered! I found this place online and called for a quote. The owner was friendly and extremely helpful from the moment he answered the phone to the moment I picked up my repaired I pad. Upon arrival I was greeted with a smile and asked to return in one hour. He is very personable and even gave me a recommendation to visit a beautiful local park while I waited (point defiance park). The price was fair, my Ipad was fixed rapidly, I'm able to do my schoolwork on time, and now I have a new park to explore! I'm a very happy gal and I'll highly recommend this business to anyone with the need. read more
