Ordered delivery and felt underwhelmed. The tonkatsu broth on my ramen was good but not great. The pork was very good, bot overall the dish didn't fully come together. Also ordered gyoza, which was good and the pork bar which looked very pretty and was annihilated by my son. read more

Been seeing this place, everytime I'm in town. Finally tried it, for an early Tuesday night dinner with my good friend. From the outside, this place looks like a night club. Inside, it's like an upscale high school cafeteria. Menu is pretty extensive with all the standards of any Slurp Joint. A bit surprised to see Dim Sum on the back page. We started with the Chicken Karaage w/Soy Garlic. It was so nice to have the sauce drizzled over the chicken, rather than drenched in it. Nice touch. My friend, who is more adventurous, ordered the Stir Fry Ramen, while I stuck with the Tonkatsu. About halfway through the meal, my friend was a bit envious of what I was eating. The staff is very nice, and the service was great. I probably won't return, but I'm glad I tried it. read more

Been wanting to try this place for a while. We ordered: - chicken ramen - beef and onion rice - pork gyoza - pork katsu rice set - brown sugar boba Service was really fast. Food was good. Kids loved the ramen, gyoza. Beef rice was tasty! Pork Katsu was tasty. Portions were a bit smaller than we thought but it was a good size for lunch. read more

Loved my experience here it was so clean and fully satisfied my hunger. I was so happy to hear the server help us out with portion sizes instead of letting us over order and trying to get the charges for waste. The sushi was so flavorful and made my afternoon hard to stay awake through. I am so excited to return! Great seating arrangements, can accommodate larger groups easily! read more

First time at X Ramen and wow it was amazing! The interior is super cute and gave off such a happy vibe. Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive. She alone deserves 5 stars!! The black truffle pork soup dumplings were the absolute standout dish. Hands down the most flavorful, fresh, and delicious dumplings I've ever had ANYWHERE. The fried chicken was another hit. Perfectly juicy inside with a crispy crunch outside!! We also couldn't resist trying the cotton candy vending machine on our way out. It was so fun! Can't wait to come back and try everything else on the menu. read more

Someone told me to check out this fairly new spot. Outside, there's a mechanical ramen bowl and a cute boba statue perfect for pics. Inside, the walls are covered with cat canvases, and Japanese lanterns and umbrellas hang from the ceiling; giving it a fun, family-friendly vibe. I came with my kids and we tried a bunch of dishes. The pork gyoza was crispy but nothing special, and the pork bao had flavor but didn't wow me. The pork soup dumplings were a major letdown, deflated, no broth, and bland. I had passion fruit tea, but after all the ice, the portion was tiny and there was no fruit in it like you'd expect. My daughter wasn't a fan of the honeycomb tripe but liked the lotus leaf wrapped chicken sausage better. Another daughter loved the miso ramen, especially the mushrooms, and my mom tried the shrimp dumplings. We finished with tiramisu and mochi, but the mochi tasted stale, which was disappointing. X Ramen nails the look and is great for photos and kids, but the food didn't live up to it. read more

I loved this spot! It's different from your typical AYCE sushi spot since it has more of a dim sum focus. Lots of dim sum options and a good amount of sushi options. I like how there's also ramen and regular entrees included. The food came fast and there was lots of seating. I enjoyed everything I ordered and left really full and satisfied. read more

Came here for Mother's Day for the first time and it was great. Very family friendly (TVs that at some point had Bluey on) with high chairs and ample parking. Kids have never been more behaved/calm at a restaurant lol We got a few milk teas (Oreo, Thai and matcha) which were really good and adjustable for sugar/ice. We didn't try the boba so not sure how those are but the teas were very tasty. Got a bunch of appetizers- edamame, mango salad, fried chicken Baos and scallion pancakes. The Bao was a favorite and has a nice spice level. Kids enjoyed the scallion pancakes. Mango salad was large and really refreshing. We got the chicken, tonkatsu and miso ramens. Everything was portioned well for the price and came out in reasonable time, even with 2 small hungry kids. They also had a deal where you get a lobster tail with every $40 purchase and we ended up with 2-these were also really tender and buttery. The ramen is a good size, with ample toppings and perfectly cooked noodles. The chashu is thinly sliced and caramelized. Eggs were nice and jammy. Great value, food and service. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. They do have a robot that roams around once in a while which is nice entertainment for the kids. We took a lot home in their cute and durable take out containers/reusable tote bags. They are a little far for us but hope to come here again. Really hope they stick around! read more

Confusing service and a shocking lack of description on the menu that led us to believe there would be food here the whole family could eat. At first, we were told that the "Vegetarian Ramen" was not vegan because it contained soybeans.... Okay.... ? Then, it was an issue of egg in the noodles. Fine, not unheard of, and they offered to swap them with rice noodles. Finally, well after orders were placed did they come back to say that there was dairy in the broth. According to them, this is a "traditional" addition, which I have never heard of before. I DO appreciate the full disclosure because that would have put me in a world of digestive hurt, but I left without being able to eat anything. They also bungled my mom's order, so she was left scrambling to eat quickly after it took another 15 minutes to correct the error, and we had a hard deadline. On the plus side, they've clearly invested quite a bit into the ambiance, and the chopsticks of distinctly higher quality than the average disposable set. Free cotton candy and popcorn in the lobby, if you're into that. read more

Stale, not fresh. Shrimp tasted old. Said the buffet was closed but could order the same stuff off the menu at the same time? Seemed kind of shady. Rude service read more

As good as anything you'll find in New York, and better than anywhere along the Connecticut shoreline. It's only been open for three weeks and I think it's going to be a big hit! The food is outstanding. The ramen is rich with umami. I had the Inferno Ramen.: a medley of pork, egg, Bok Choi, mushrooms, fishcakes, corn and seaweed in a rich pork-based broth. The venue is spotless clean, upbeat, fresh and bright. The service is Asian polite. If you love ramen, put X on your bucket list! read more

Nice ambiance - high ceilings, clean, video monitors playing old Olympics, cartoons, etc. we were a group of 8 on a Wed night and we were all in on the Eat All You Can Eat dim sum offer which I understand they do all day Tuesday to Friday. Our server was great - friendly and attentive to our needs. We sampled practically everything on the menu with few exceptions. The fried chicken was moist and tasty. Shu Mai, tripe, chicken feet, spring rolls, fried red bean balls were all very good. Our favorite was all the different varieties of soup dumplings. Your server takes your order for the dishes you want and sends it to the kitchen. Be patient as dim sum served properly can take a bit of time, and your patience will be rewarded. Highly recommend this place and the eat all you can eat dim sum deal. read more

2 Feb. 2026 Slightly below mediocre. We had: Chain food vibe. Edamame ($6.00) with sea salt and lime. There was no evidence of sea salt or lime - just microwaved edamame. Pork gyoza ($8.00 for six pieces) . They were well fried but not really flaverful. Chicken stir fried udon ($12.00): completely insipid with bland, almost boiled chicken. Tonkotsu Ramen ($16.00): Thin and unsophisticated broth. Rubbery and flavorless pork. I think they use artificial flavor enhancers. My lips and tongue were tingling later. The wait staff was polite, though as we exited the restaurant and passed four staff members to leave, not a single one looked up or said "goodbye." read more

Right now I would consider this average ramen but will give it another chance once they get past "soft opening". Came here on a Thursday night and it was fairly busy. Bright interior. Our server was friendly and attentive. My wife ordered a red bean tea that she thought was mediocre. The lemon and salt edamame and Korean fried chicken apps were great. The pork tonkatsu and other ramen dishes arrived to us with only a lukewarm broth; it should have been hot. The flavor and portions were ok. The free popcorn and cotton candy machines were a cute touch. read more

Much better than I was expecting. Good ramen, good dim sum. The all you can eat is worth it, especially if you value sampling various foods. Very little compromise for this type of food. Asian approved. The nigiri may be the weakest area, but in fairness I didn't sample that much of it. I go here for ramen, non sashimi sushi rolls, and the dim sum. They also did a great job on a catering take-out for an event. Sushi rolls and fried chicken. Was a big hit. The one criticism I will offer echoes another recent review: I too received some slightly undercooked chicken for a small fried chicken order. It wasn't raw, and technically safely edible, but nobody needs to ride the line like this when serving chicken. This contrasted from the other two orders I received (including the large catering order) where it was perfectly cooked. So it's either just a random thing, or a specific chef thing. Regarding the all you can eat pricing: take note of the Mon-Friday 11am-3pm schedule for the reduced lunch price. Dining experience is fine. Functional but no real ambience to speak of. Kitchen may benefit from some better ventilation. Service is good and friendly. Menu requests: some addtionial classic dim sum items like taro and turnip cakes, and custard tarts (better than custard buns imo) would be a welcome addition. Expanded beer list (with local beers). read more

Listen. I'm recommending this restaurant based on past experiences because I think they still have time to be better. Recently, I received an order with undercooked fried chicken.... It was unfortunate. Also, they recently added in anise or some type of floral spice to their broth... why? It was good already and now it's meh. A little too much. Probably won't order it again because I don't like the additional spice but I still have hope! Their pork is really yummy! My advice....go back to the old broth. read more

I tried the Tonkotsu ramen and the Korean fried chicken. While the ramen was flavorful, it lacked authenticity. The broth was chicken-based rather than the traditional pork-based broth, which gives Tonkotsu its distinctive richness. That said, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the chashu was tender and delicious. One issue I had was that the menu didn't mention it came with corn. As someone allergic to corn, I had to pick it out, which was frustrating. Overall, it hits the spot for comfort on a cold day but doesn't deliver the classic pork bone broth experience. The fried chicken was juicy and crispy, but on its own, it tasted a bit one-dimensional--mostly just salty. I requested the garlic parmesan sauce on the side, and I'm glad I did because I didn't enjoy it. I switched to garlic soy, which paired much better with the chicken. I'd recommend having it with a sauce for a more balanced flavor. Atmosphere was relaxing. The interior was beautifully decorated, and is spacious. Servers were friendly and attentive. Overall, not bad for a soft launch. With a few adjustments, it has the potential to be a standout spot! read more

Holy ramen! I am shocked how good this was. No need to have ramen when I'm back in the city anymore.. Finally have delicious ramen here. At a VERY fair price. Huge portions - 15 bucks. Both the miso and the tonkotsu were rich and delicious and not at all too spicy. The pork slices had a great chargrilled flavor and melted in your mouth. The noodles were perfectly cooked and SO many of them! MUCH better portion size than that other popular ramen place. Great ambiance, super friendly service and this week is the soft opening so they had free cotton candy machines and flavored popcorn! (free only during the soft opening). I normally start with something like "if you're in the area", but not today! X Ramen is a destination where you want to be, and is definitely worth traveling for. This ramen & chicken spot takes everything you thought you knew about ramen and cranks it up to eleven. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a warm, casual, and modern artistic vibe that invites you to relax and prepare for the fun flavorful journey ahead. X Ramen is known for its creative twists on traditional Japanese flavors, with ramen that strikes the perfect balance between rich, silky broths and vibrant toppings. The Tonkotsu ramen is creamy, deeply savory, and somehow both light and hearty at the same time, with perfectly cooked noodles that have just the right amount of chew. And don't even get me started on the Saporro Soyo Chicken; perfectly grilled chicken, juicy on the inside, and seasoned with a unique spice blend, it's an absolute must-try and pairs perfectly with any ramen on the menu. And don't sleep on the wings! The super crispy, yet spicy rubbed wings give a crunchy bite into perfectly cooked juicy heaven. But the experience doesn't stop at the food--X Ramen takes presentation seriously. Every bowl is a piece of art, with toppings arranged beautifully to make the dish as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the taste buds. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they're serving, making you feel like part of the family with every visit. We picked up two bowls of ramen and an order of harumaki (spring rolls) tonight. In spite of the packaging, including the reusable semi-insulated bag, the ramen wasn't very hot by the time it got home, but it was easy to reheat. The veggie ramen was very good, but although the ramen itself was a substantial portion, there was only a small amount of (creamy?!) broth and very few vegetables. Also, watch out for the Fable "mushrooms," which are actually a processed mushroom product containing soy protein, coconut oil, and other ingredients that you may be allergic to or may not want to eat. We liked the harumaki, too, although they were $7 for three small rolls. The inside of the restaurant was bright and inviting, so we'll try dining in next time. For one thing, it will save all of the packaging involved in carryout! read more

We have done takeout at X-Ramen twice. Both times, the food was excellent. Also, very convenient, with special packaging for takeout so that the ramen ingredients are separate from the broth - you can easily combine them at home. I can't stop thinking about their Hokkaido ramen. It is rare that I don't want to add a mix in (like chili oil) but the broth was too good to alter! Their soy-sauce marinated eggs are nice and jammy. The egg noodles had excellent flavor. On par with ramen shops in NYC, most definitely. read more

I don't know what it's like eating in there but when I got uber eats my Ramen was very wet and soggy as well as some of my other dry food dishes. The food itself was decent but the sogginess and wetness made it unappetizing. I love ramen, and went to X Ramen to check it out. The ramen was good! But there was annoying things about this place. For example, there was a step next to the seats. I nearly tripped on that!!!
