Eat Noodle in downtown Bridgeport was first recommended to me a couple years ago. I live an hour away, but the passion behind the recommendation impressed me. I finally visited around 3:15 on a recent Saturday afternoon. The space is very nice and includes high ceilings, cool light fixtures, light colored woods and white chairs. Service is helpful, efficient and friendly. I asked for a recommendation because I like ramen, pho, curry noodles and the other soups on the menu. The server recommended Curry Crispy Chicken Noodles, but she warned I might think they're spicy. I loved these noodles. The curry broth was flavorful, but not too spicy. The noodles had great texture. The crispy chicken was very satisfying. The potatoes and carrots were well executed. The punches of cilantro were very fresh. It was a great bowl of noodles. Came back for my daughter's birthday meal, which was a good choice because she loves boba tea. It was a slow Wednesday night, so business was more manageable from last visit. We had Lucia as our server, way better than the one we had last time. Thank goodness. Our food came out quickly. This time I got the crispy chili chicken skewers as an appetizer. It tasted fresh and clean with a great crisp. I got curry noodle with fried chicken. I put the top pieces to the side to protect it from getting soggy. It was perfect. I like how the table has chili sauce available to add spice to anything. To drink I got a house made black tea, a lychee martini, and a mai tai; all tasted good. Lucia was very friendly & focused on our needs! I ordered the rock shrimp as an appetizer. For dinner,I ordered the Tom Yam shrimp soup but I made it my way like Burger King. Food was okay- we got the seafood noodle soup. It was good, but the broth wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked. We had the crispy curry chicken noodle, tonkatsu ramen, and Tom yum soup. All of the portions were generous, we had to take home 2 of the 3 dishes because it was too much. The spicey wontons came in a really good spicey sauce with garlic, scallions, Cilantro and soy sauce in a chilling oil. Very satisfying. The soup was also very good! Another great place for Asian in downtown Bridgeport. Eat Noodle is a very casual eatery. It of course specializes in noodles, with the main thing being pho. Has some pretty good prices for around here. The items can have a pretty hefty spiciness. I had the Curry Tofu at lunch. It's $12 for a bowl of broth, noodles, and protein. This item comes with the egg noodles, so I switched out those. Get it vegan by substituting rice noodles. These still go with it very well. It has a pretty spicy broth. Unfortunately the curry broth is the only one that is vegetarian. It limits some diners for options. This is a good broth for those liking spiciness. Appetizers include dumplings and edamame. It has amazing choices for a pretty limited menu. The curry soups are the best of these. read more

The menu is pretty standard with its ramen and phos, and well executed. Give a try to the side sauces if you want to spice it up a bit. Cute little place with a nice menu, noticed some soup splash on the white wall next to our table which kinda seemed gross to me but it is easy to do when slurping soup. Started with the steamed pork dumplings which were DELICIOUS and very filling. Got the shrimp noodle soup. The broth was delicious but the greens in my soup were all attached so I had to pull it apart with my hands to eat it. A good amount of shrimp in the bowl too. Ok, here we go! Arrived at the counter & there were three customers waiting for their orders...five minutes later, the cashier/ waitress appeared. She had one order in her hand for take out. She half-hearted said hi and kept it moving I understand that she was busy and I patiently waited to be served. It was my first time thereand I wanting to try some Pho or Noodle dish. I was patiently waiting my turn, and watched her prepare two bubble teas to go-still very busy. Upon waiting, the waitress came by the register where I was standing and I asked if there were any specials-her reply "only what's on the menu & still no engagement. She was a little busy & didn't have any conversation as to "hey, I will be right with or any acknowledgement" that she recognized I was patiently waiting my turn. Another ten (10) minutes went by and im trying to get her attention ....nothing. So I'm still waiting and it's been about 23 minutes without "I'll be right with you nor anything"! So I tried again to get her attention without any luck-I watched as she served the two customers in front of me-one was a take out order with two drinks and another was having his lunch at the counter (where I was standing). She didn't even look my way so it's now a half hour-STILL WAITING. So perhaps it was a sign that I was not to have lunch there today... I turned and walked out the door which was six feet away. I glanced her way to see if she had noticed my departure-she did look up but to no avail. I came here for a monday evening dinner date with my fiancé and I was very pleased! The atmosphere is quiet and warm. A lot of the warmth comes from all the wood and the yellow lights. It's not dim lighting, but it sets a nice atmosphere. The appetizers were good, the crab rangoon was average and the hot oil wontons surpassed my expectations. Lovely, clean, inviting casual atmosphere--even with people bustling about. I sat at the bar during a lunch break to try the Curry beef noodle soup and Cha Shu steamed bun. While the steamed bun was not at all what I had expected, it was a wonderful array of textures and flavors. The soup was a most generous portion served hot and delicious. I loved each spoonful. Very good noodle bowls. I come often and get the Curry Crispy Chicken Noodle bowl and Crab Rangoons. Here's my review: Food: Everything that I've ordered comes out hot and fresh. The Crab Rangoon appetizer is a light and crispy fried rangoon. Filling leans more toward cream cheese, with a nice sweet dipping sauce. I have tried many different rangoons, and I like the light/crispiness of these the best. As for the Curry Crispy Chicken Noodle Bowl, the chicken is really good, they aren't kidding about it being crispy. The crispy texture of the chicken paired with the liquid broth is a match made in heaven. Plenty of noodles, and a slight spiciness to the dish that is sure to please many people (not overly spicy, but not bland). Drinks: I like that they have Sea Hag on tap. Many other noodle bowl / Asian restaurants are lacking in the drink department, and seem to forget that the drinks part is also part of the meal. I'm happy to report that Eat Noodle has tap beers, including a good IPA. To me, this is one of the reasons I choose Eat Noodle, because I can sit, relax, enjoy my dish with a good IPA. Atmosphere: Clean and modern. There's a long bar area in the front, and seating toward the back. I always sit at the bar because it's better than sitting at a table, in my opinion, and you can watch and interact more with the people working. It's a hidden gem. One thing that can be a pro/con is that it's never too busy. Not being busy is good because it can be more relaxing, but on the other hand, I do want them to be busy so they stay in business. They seem to do a lot of take out. Price: Average prices for a noodle bowl place. Location: It's in Bridgeport, right off Route 8. Maybe being in Bridgeport is intimidating for some, but it's easy to get to and you don't have to drive through Bridgeport much. Parking is on street, which is usually not a problem after 5pm or on weekends (guessing it's busier during the day). Ive only had 1 time where I couldn't find a good street parking spot near Eat Noodle, must have been an event going on nearby. I was actually trying to visit a place across the street but they were closed. Therefore, I went into this place and they didn't disappoint. The Chinese rice with broccoli was good, even though the broccoli was different from what I was used to, but it was good and fresh. The mini vegetarian spring rolls were also delicious and no issues there. All good with this place except they charged me more than the listed price on their menu. They said the menu on the door was old, which just leads me to think, "well then put a new one up". Seems simple to me not to mislead your customers.
