Boat noodles has excellent homemade broth and i believe not many thai place sell this dish. Strong aroma from the broth, chewy noodles if you can the the heat it's very addicting. I ended up ordering non spicy and have chilies on the side. The pork is little try. Meatball was good and bouncy. Love this very much overall. Crispy pork belly has very nice dipping sauce comes with it, i can tase the lime and little sweet and sour perfect to pair with the poke belly. Tapioca ball is ok something new to try, it's sweet dish kinda like Chinese mochi balls Pineapple fried rice smells very good the combination of spices, very aromatic Drunken noodles is yummy, the duck meat tend to be dry (beef one is better ) great deal when coming for lunch. Appetizers are small portions, which is great you get to taste little of everything. Fried wonton and fish cake is good, both are not Strong in seasoning but has a perfect dipping sauces. Mango sticky rice is excellent, sticky rice is not very sticky type, i guess it's cooked with pandan leaves, salty coconut sauce not too sweet , I'll get one order by myself next time. They'll only sell it when the mango is good so grab it when u can. Would definitely explore more food next time. Very nice boss lady!

Drunken noodles were tasty and spicy. We had to eat with white rice to temper the heat (not a bad thing since that meant we'd get another tasty meal out of it!). Thai style mussels pancake was also tasty. Be ready to dig in with fork and knife, or fork & spoon as we did.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!…read more My friend and I came here for happy hour and were really disappointed by the service. From the start, our first round of drinks was delivered to the table next to us, and those guests actually drank from them before the waitress realized the mistake. Despite being told the drinks had already been sipped, she still tried to give them to us, and we had to firmly refuse before new drinks were made. Things didn't improve after that. My second drink, a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, arrived in a wine glass that clearly had someone else's lipstick on it, so I had to send that back as well. We also ordered edamame for the table, which was completely forgotten--we had to re-order it 45 minutes later before it finally arrived. My tofu and sushi were also underwhelming to say the least. What made the experience worse was the lack of apology or urgency from the staff, especially since the restaurant wasn't even busy. Overall, the poor customer service and repeated hygiene and attentiveness issues made this a very frustrating happy hour experience.

I came in for lunch and ordered the Tom Kha soup and pineapple chicken curry lunch special. Everything was served at the perfect temperature. The soup was warm but not too hot, and the curry was rich and flavorful with rice that was just right. The chicken in both dishes was thin, juicy, and tender. The veggies were fresh and crisp, and I especially loved the burst of cherry tomatoes in the Tom Kha. The pineapple curry is always a favorite of mine. If you are coming for dinner, I highly recommend the pineapple duck curry. For lunch, their curry special is a fantastic deal at just $11.95 for a decent selection of curries with chicken. The service is always friendly and thoughtful. The timing was perfect, I finished my soup just as my entree arrived. Inside, the space feels warm and welcoming with lots of natural wood. If you get a table by the window, the river view makes the experience even better. They also do great takeout, but it is worth dining in for the atmosphere and hospitality. Rainbow Thai gets it right every time.

I had the rice noodle soup, I asked them to hold the bean sprouts. This is a $17 soup. For me, it was far too little broth, it was served in a huge bowl, but the bowl was not full of broth. It was maybe half full, including the meat, the shrimp and the rice noodles the broth was very bland. The restaurant pouts being a traditional Thai restaurant however the soup was served no traditional accoutrements.. Fish sauce (salt + umami) * Chili flakes or chili oil (heat) * Sugar (yes -- balance) * Vinegar or pickled chili vinegar (acid) * Often lime wedges They're seem to be only one person working the dining area and when I could finally get their attention, I was able to get some lime wedges and chili sauce. I'm on the fence if I'll go back sometimes like to give these places a second try nothing was awful and nothing was bad but the quantity was minimal. It wasn't worth the $17. The broth was minimal. They could definitely offer more broth and it just to seem like a bother to get traditional accouterments. This these types of soups are finished at the table and not in the kitchen. That's the traditional way.

I finally visited around 3:15 on a recent Saturday afternoon. The space is very nice and includes high ceilings, cool light fixtures, light colored woods and white chairs. The server recommended Curry Crispy Chicken Noodles, but she warned I might think they're spicy. I loved these noodles. The curry broth was flavorful, but not too spicy. The noodles had great texture. The crispy chicken was very satisfying. The potatoes and carrots were well executed. The punches of cilantro were very fresh. It was a great bowl of noodles. I like how the table has chili sauce available to add spice to anything. To drink I got a house made black tea, a lychee martini, and a mai tai; all tasted good. My son got the pork boa buns, next time I'm going to try that. My daughter got a happy birthday fried ice cream for dessert. Said she'll come back again.
