S1. Signature JBC Rice Noodle / 至尊花胶鸡
    Haoran X.

I couldn't wait to try Ji Bei Chuan when I found out they opened a location here in CT. Every time I visit Flushing, I always stop by for their flavorful broth, springy rice noodles, and generous portion sizes. This location did NOT disappoint! The chicken was tender and moist, just as I remembered, and the noodles had that same great texture. I left feeling full and satisfied. While the Flushing location's broth is slightly more flavorful and includes more fish maw, I'm already planning to come back (probably next week) to enjoy some of the dishes I miss. Bonus: parking is super convenient and the service is fast!

Update: They now offer sake, beer, and wine! Service is always friendly and attentive.

This is hands down the best vegetable ramen I've had in Connecticut so far !! so fresh and flavorful! The spring rolls were hot, crispy, and delicious. I'll definitely be going back over again. The waitress was incredibly kind and even gave us a complimentary dessert (a delicious rice-based treat, though I didn't get a picture). The restaurant's decorations were so pretty, and the beautiful lights added to the cozy atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! (P.S. I am vegan now but my friend said the chicken soup dumplings were 10/10.)

Great food all around! Service is excellent very friendly! I get takeout often for lunch and it's always fresh and tastes great

Hubby found this place and really wanted to try it since we are a noodle loving family. We ordered: - signature JBC rice noodle - tonkotsu ramen - edamame - beef stir fry noodles with ho fun - deep fried ice cream The signature noodle was bland per the other reviews. We had expected more. Need to add chili oil but be careful as the chili oil is quite spicy! The ramen was decent, my son loved it! The unexpected was the stir fry noodles, when I ordered it, hubby was like don't have high expectations for it but it wind up being the favourite dish of the table! It had some wok hei to it! The deep fried ice cream was also really good! Nice time, I think we will try some of the other fry noodles

I ordered the peach Mojito mocktail made with fresh lime and mint, sparkling water and peach syrup....they also had passionfruit or mango.... Today, we tried duck ramen and beef brisket rice noodles... both were equally delicious. Ken's was super spicy

This branch of Ji Bei Chuan is absolutely fantastic. I've been here twice in the past two weeks and the food has been consistently good--the noodles in both the soup and stir fry dishes are perfect, portions are substantial, and the flavors are on point. The Taiwan "popcorn" chicken appetizer comes out piping hot, fried perfectly, and is a lovely starter that is a good size for sharing. The original beef or seafood noodle soups are really the reason to come here, and I'd recommend that over the pho or the ramen since it is what they do best. The mushrooms are stellar, they don't skimp on the noodles, and the broth has deep flavor without being too salty. The Beef hofun (or chow fun dry style) is exactly what I'd been looking for out here--hand shredded noodle, crispy bean sprouts, big cuts of green onion, and cooked perfectly. It's my favorite dish here! Service was great, the restaurant is well lit and tastefully decorated, and the whole place is very clean from top to bottom. The wall shelf decor with various teapots and dishes is inspiring and well-designed.

Came for the signature Fish maw chicken rice noodles. The size of the bowl was big. Poached chicken was boneless and the texture of the chicken was tender. The chicken broth was yummy! It has a good flavor, the bowl was filled mainly with corn, black woodear mushrooms, a few enoki mushrooms, a few iceberg lettuce pieces, a few fried tofu puffs, some gojiberries. Added $2 for marinated egg. The eggs only tasted soy but not really flavorful. I kept searching for my fish maws!!! But I could only find two tiny pieces! So that was an epic fail on promoting the fish maws signature rice noodles!! Pork bao was excellent. Pork was tender and delicious. Would have been 4 stars if they actually put some fish maws in my order.... Why missing the main ingredient of the dish??? The deco of the restaurant is very cute and modern though. The waitstaff was very nice!

I am so happy by the recent opening of @jbc.ct especially with it being so close to home! Right on Boston Post Road, Ji Bei Chuan brings flavorful and unique flavor combos that were lacking in the Orange/Milford area. There was quick service and a pleasant atmosphere. I will be returning to try more. Even happier to see so many great Asian restaurants opening during AAPI month. * Pictured in the reel: Scallion Pancakes (with curry sauce), Spicy Garlic Cucumber, Dry Tossed Riced Noodle (with minced pork, crushed peanut, scallion, and cilantro), Chicken Stir Fry Noodle (ho fun noodles), and Spicy Mala Soup (with beef, Wood-ear, bean curd, corn, onoki mushrooms, lettuce, cilantro and scallion) from Ji Bei Chuan (@jbc.ct) in Orange CT * #sipsandsizzles #ctinfluencer #ctfood #orangect #jibeichuan #aapiheritagemonth #ctfoodlovers #ctfoodies

Perfect place for some rainy day ramen- or any day. Place is bright, and decorated very cute. They have a good size menu for different types of pallets. The ramen broth was flavorful and packed with well blended ingredients. The Spicy Mala soup was a good level of spice and were generous with their protein portions. The rice noodle did not absorb the broth flavor like the ramen noodles did (but were very good as a take home later). We also had the pork and crab soup dumplings which also had a wealth of broth in them, but didn't taste much crab in them. Service was very good, waitstaff was very attentive, and constantly can came over to check how things were going. Highly recommend for take out, as they have great large bowl for the noodles and ingredients and separate the broth. Well thought out.

    Spaghetti?

I don't know. I just....aaahhhhh. Ok. I ordered what was described as traditional bone soup, it came with rice noodles and a few other things. I am pretty well versed in Asian food and ... I think the noodles were spaghetti. Like Italian noodles. I've never seen rice noodles like this. And the broth reminded me of Campbell's chicken soup. It wasn't BAD. It was good. It wasn't amazing or great but it was good... for an Asian soup with spaghetti in it. The servers were great, the place is clean inside, no complaints but no real complements either.

When did Orange become little Asia of CT? So many great authentic Asian restaurants in town. Ji Bei Chuan is a great addition! The noodles are fresh and the broth is very flavorful and rich. We all had the itis and had to take our leftover home. Service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and a lovely ambiance while slurping on your noodles. Will come back and try the dry noodles!

I saw this establishment while driving down the Post Road and was immediately intrigued because I love noodles. So I decided to give them a try. I placed my order via DoorDash for pick up. In the comments, I requested that it be spicy. Within a couple of minutes, I received a call from a woman. She indicated what alterations she recommended so that I could have what I ordered in a spicy version, which basically included a side of chili oil. I appreciated the customer service and her following up with me, as this was my first time ordering from there and I wasn't very familiar with the menu. I also ordered the Bao buns- they were delicious! The parking lot is a bit narrow, and is shared with other businesses but I was able to find a space immediately. Upon walking in, it was extremely open, many tables and extremely clean with nice decor. The soup was OK, in a light tomato broth. The brisket was tender, and there was a significant amount in there. The chili oil didn't provide enough kick for me, so I had to enhance it with a few more pepper flakes, but overall it was good. If you enjoy noodles, I highly recommend giving them a try.

This location also doesn't offer crab legs (even though we saw them online), which was a big letdown for my daughter. The sauce/appetizer station was just wack, the dessert area was really lacking no ice cream, only sponge cake and some stale looking popcorn. They offered two options for the holidays -- salmon or chicken -- and we went with the salmon meal, which was priced at $29.99. For that price, you get five pieces of salmon, string beans, and roasted sweet potatoes, all fully cooked and ready to heat up. Let me be clear: this meal was excellent. The salmon was flavorful and well-prepared, the sides were solid, and everything tasted fresh. It was incredibly convenient, especially during the holidays when cooking a full meal can feel like a lot. Just heat it up and you're good to go. For the price, the quality, and the portion size, this was more than worth it. The only tiny reason it's not a perfect score is personal preference -- I would've loved an additional side like rice -- but honestly, that's not even a real complaint. Rating: (4.8 out of 5) Affordable, convenient, and delicious. I would absolutely purchase this holiday meal again.
