Strawberry guava Matcha latte
Simone M.

My favorite matcha is back, the mango sticky rice matcha latte. It's so much better even from last year. I saw their latest menu on Instagram and knew I need to make my way over ASAP! It came out to $9 with the upgrade to almond milk. The staff here is always so friendly and nice. Today I watched them curate my drink and it was like an art project the way it was put together so carefully. The summer menu also has some other drinks I can't wait to try out like the mango tajin soda and the banana pudding latte which I had during the Hue Matcha pop up back in April. Definitely stop in while you can to get a taste of Florida!

Wyatt's is a cute little coffee shop downtown. It's small, but there's space to grab coffee with a friend or work on your laptop. I got the strawberry guava matcha from their spring menu and oh my goooooodness I didn't stop thinking about it all day. You could taste both the strawberry and the guava and it was just the most perfect spring beverage! They always have seasonal drinks and I definitely will be back to try more from their spring menu.

Not only is this probably the best coffee shop in Gainesville, I personally like it more than most coffee shops I've tried in California. The coffee is pleasant, the ratio is spot on, and consistent every time/visit. My husband I personally really like their espresso tonic, latte, and honey cold brew. The other seasonal drinks are good too but you can't go wrong with the classics. The coffee shop itself is also very nice - nice vibes and staff. A perfect study spot or a place to just relax and chat.

Tried Wyatt's for the first time and went with the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha. It was super unique and honestly, kind of addictive! I got it with oat milk. The matcha was smooth and earthy like it should be, and the mango flavor added this tropical sweetness that balanced it really nicely. There was even a subtle creaminess that reminded me of actual sticky rice, definitely creative. The shop itself is cozy with a chill vibe, perfect for catching up with a friend or getting some solo time. The staff was friendly and quick with orders, even during a busy hour. I'd absolutely come back and try more of their seasonal drinks!

First time trying Wyatt's coffee and I had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and quick, and happy to answer any questions I may have had. The coffee itself was a tad pricey but it tasted very good quality. The cafe itself was very cute, modern, and clean. My friend and I had a good time and enjoying our coffee while sitting inside and chatting. Would recommend and will be returning.

I was visiting Gainesville for a day and was told I had to try why it's Coffee in downtown Gainesville! It was a colder day so I opted for a hot miso latte and was pleasantly surprised! It had a great blend of salty to sweet ratio and was very smooth. The coffee shop is located in downtown and it's a really cute area to walk around. I'd love to try some of their other drinks such as the Matcha so I'll have to come back to Gainesville to try it!

One of the best coffee spots in Gainesville. Both their specialty and classic drinks are great - the ratios are spot on. Highly recommend their latte's. The ambiance is great for working - lots of spots to sit and work, with outlets. The service is also great and friendly.

Got the strawberry matcha guava drink, super yum! The service was quick and sweet. The music was phenomenal surprisingly and the vibes were clean but softly comfy.

Located a little of Main St in downtown Gainesville, we saw many people walking around with cups from here so we decided to give it a try. We arrived after lunch around 1pm and there was a decent/consistent line that took a bit just to order. One thing I noticed when I came in was that it didn't smell like a coffeehouse, no strong scent of coffee. We opted to try one coffee and one matcha, hot and iced to get a variety of options. Tried the seasonal pumpkin latte as that's usually a good measure in my opinion. It was fine, standard nothing wow but not bad either. The matcha flavor was ok but was a little gritty. We were asked what kind of sweetener we wanted and were given a list of options. Nothing was said to be additional however after we found out the honey was $1 additional. How much honey could they have used? Meanwhile the oat milk was only $0.50 additional and more noticeable. IMO there are better options in Gainesville, however if you are nearby and in a pinch, it'll work.

A Gainesville gem! The staff is friendly, the coffee is good, and they have a decent selection of pastries. Great place to grab your laptop and work for a few hours (great WiFi). It is located downtown, so be prepared for downtown parking; most spots are pay-by-the-hour and it can be busy at peak times. Not a negative, just a note

Wyatt's coffee is a super cute coffee place downtown. I went there today with one of my teammates and she kept raving about it, so I decided I needed to try. Totally worth the hype! I got a holiday special latte and it was so good. vibes are cute also and not too expensive

Clean, modern, and full of natural light!…read more Loved the atmosphere of this place. Right off UF's campus. Stopped by for a quick morning coffee and book sesh. Espresso is strong and packs a punch! A bit on the pricier side - $5.30 for a small oat milk Latté. Nevertheless this place has an amazing vibe for studying or doing work...especially in the morning when the early light pours through the many windows. Plentiful seating and outlets (great for students!) Highly recommend for any UF student needing to do work in a bright and airy environment. If you're visiting Gainesville it's a perfect spot in midtown for a coffee break or WFH session.

They also have outdoor seating on the patio out front. Concord Coffee offers a nice selection of drinks with unique syrups, etc. Although I didn't order coffee this time, I would be willing to try it in the future! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Their pastry case is limited and I believe they get their baked goods from somewhere local. I wasn't sure what to get and the worker recommended any of their pastries, as opposed to their bagels, as they were delivered fresh today. I ended up ordering the cinnamon roll, she heated it up and that took about 5 minutes. The cinnamon roll itself wasn't anything super special. The dough reminded me more of that of a croissant due to its flakier consistency. The glaze on top was light and the cinnamon inside was underwhelming. I still didn't have a problem with it until I reached the center. I noticed the center wasn't fully heated up and even felt slightly cold. But my biggest issue was the fact that the dough in the center was very much raw. It was not cooked/baked through at all. Disappointing to say the least. I would not return for a pastry or baked good, as I believe you can find better ones around the area for a better price. But I would return to try the coffee. Overall, I think Concord Coffee is a super cute coffee shop located in midtown. The staff is really sweet and helpful as well. I thought the inside was clean and I appreciated the decor. With that that being said, I would stick to beverages as opposed to their food items. My cinnamon roll was anything but special, I feel like one from Publix would have left me more satisfied. By biggest issue was definitely the fact that it wasn't baked through and raw in the center. I will get around to trying their coffee at some point in the future.

There is outside seating to if you're just coming to meet up with friends or just to sit for a bit while you enjoy a cup. Food: They have the Baker and Baker goodies just like other locations but also sell warm sandwiches! It is prepackaged and the baristas just heat it up. I got the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. I also tried the apple fritter and it was good. I do wish I tasted more apple in it but I know Opus didn't make it so can't complain. Drinks: They have other drinks here that are def named by Gen Z folks and some millennials lol. I didn't do an actual comparison but they seemed similar to the drinks at the Opus Airstream maybe slightly different flavors. I just always get an iced latte with no flavor...very boring lol. My friend's daughter got a hot chocolate and she loved it (before spilling half of it) lol Service: Polite and quick. They thanked me for tipping them. Bless their heart. Located right on the cusp of downtown, the cafe is a great place to relax, socialize, and study. The inside is rustic with an "old European" kind of feel. There really isn't another cafe like this in Gainesville! The service was super amiable and helpful. I specifically wanted to check out Cafe Voltaire for their crepes as I've heard so many rave reviews. And after spending this past summer in France, I feel like I am a good judge of an "authentic" crepe. I went just after they opened (8am) and it wasn't busy at all. While I wanted to try a crepe, I was told they don't start making them until 9am. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay that long on this particular morning, so I didn't get a chance to try their crepes--but I will be back to try one FOR SURE. Since I couldn't try I crepe, I ordered one of the items in their display case. They bake several other items in-house and even have home-made gelato! I opted for a piece of their bacon-Gruyère caramelized onion focaccia. She worked offered to serve it with an herbed butter and house-made pickles, so of course I opted for that! The focaccia was served heated up and was decent. I honestly thought it was a little dry and the butter lacked salt. While this wasn't a hit, the chocolate gelato I ordered to go certainly was! This truly brought me back to Europe and I will need to get some more of their gelato down the road. Overall, while I was unable to try a crepe, the item I truly wanted, I still had a good experience. The focus wasn't bad, but could have been better. But that gelato--WOW was that memorable. You really cannot find anything like this in Gainesville and it is a true gem of a cafe. It is very reminiscent of a European cafe and really look forward to returning. I will be updating this review soon with a review of some crepes and coffee too!!
