Mexican mocha and plain croissant
Colin H.

Friendly service. Mexican mocha was very good, not too sweet and just the right spice. Need menu on wall, or printed version available if standing in line.

Guava strawberry matcha

Wyatt's is a cute little coffee shop downtown. It's small, but there's space to grab coffee with a friend or work on your laptop. I got the strawberry guava matcha from their spring menu and oh my goooooodness I didn't stop thinking about it all day. You could taste both the strawberry and the guava and it was just the most perfect spring beverage! They always have seasonal drinks and I definitely will be back to try more from their spring menu.

Not only is this probably the best coffee shop in Gainesville, I personally like it more than most coffee shops I've tried in California. The coffee is pleasant, the ratio is spot on, and consistent every time/visit. My husband I personally really like their espresso tonic, latte, and honey cold brew. The other seasonal drinks are good too but you can't go wrong with the classics. The coffee shop itself is also very nice - nice vibes and staff. A perfect study spot or a place to just relax and chat.

Mango sticky rice matcha

Staff is consistently friendly and kind!! The mango sticky rice matcha is to die for!!! See you soon, Wyatt!

Tried Wyatt's for the first time and went with the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha. It was super unique and honestly, kind of addictive! I got it with oat milk. The matcha was smooth and earthy like it should be, and the mango flavor added this tropical sweetness that balanced it really nicely. There was even a subtle creaminess that reminded me of actual sticky rice, definitely creative. The shop itself is cozy with a chill vibe, perfect for catching up with a friend or getting some solo time. The staff was friendly and quick with orders, even during a busy hour. I'd absolutely come back and try more of their seasonal drinks!

I was visiting Gainesville for a day and was told I had to try why it's Coffee in downtown Gainesville! It was a colder day so I opted for a hot miso latte and was pleasantly surprised! It had a great blend of salty to sweet ratio and was very smooth. The coffee shop is located in downtown and it's a really cute area to walk around. I'd love to try some of their other drinks such as the Matcha so I'll have to come back to Gainesville to try it!

Iced Americano with Oat Milk

First time trying Wyatt's coffee and I had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and quick, and happy to answer any questions I may have had. The coffee itself was a tad pricey but it tasted very good quality. The cafe itself was very cute, modern, and clean. My friend and I had a good time and enjoying our coffee while sitting inside and chatting. Would recommend and will be returning.

One of the best coffee spots in Gainesville. Both their specialty and classic drinks are great - the ratios are spot on. Highly recommend their latte's. The ambiance is great for working - lots of spots to sit and work, with outlets. The service is also great and friendly.

guava strawberry matcha

Got the strawberry matcha guava drink, super yum! The service was quick and sweet. The music was phenomenal surprisingly and the vibes were clean but softly comfy.

Located a little of Main St in downtown Gainesville, we saw many people walking around with cups from here so we decided to give it a try. We arrived after lunch around 1pm and there was a decent/consistent line that took a bit just to order. One thing I noticed when I came in was that it didn't smell like a coffeehouse, no strong scent of coffee. We opted to try one coffee and one matcha, hot and iced to get a variety of options. Tried the seasonal pumpkin latte as that's usually a good measure in my opinion. It was fine, standard nothing wow but not bad either. The matcha flavor was ok but was a little gritty. We were asked what kind of sweetener we wanted and were given a list of options. Nothing was said to be additional however after we found out the honey was $1 additional. How much honey could they have used? Meanwhile the oat milk was only $0.50 additional and more noticeable. IMO there are better options in Gainesville, however if you are nearby and in a pinch, it'll work.

A Gainesville gem! The staff is friendly, the coffee is good, and they have a decent selection of pastries. Great place to grab your laptop and work for a few hours (great WiFi). It is located downtown, so be prepared for downtown parking; most spots are pay-by-the-hour and it can be busy at peak times. Not a negative, just a note

Caroline B.

Wyatt's coffee is a super cute coffee place downtown. I went there today with one of my teammates and she kept raving about it, so I decided I needed to try. Totally worth the hype! I got a holiday special latte and it was so good. vibes are cute also and not too expensive

Clean, modern, and full of natural light!…read more Loved the atmosphere of this place. Right off UF's campus. Stopped by for a quick morning coffee and book sesh. Espresso is strong and packs a punch! A bit on the pricier side - $5.30 for a small oat milk Latté. Nevertheless this place has an amazing vibe for studying or doing work...especially in the morning when the early light pours through the many windows. Plentiful seating and outlets (great for students!) Highly recommend for any UF student needing to do work in a bright and airy environment. If you're visiting Gainesville it's a perfect spot in midtown for a coffee break or WFH session.

They also have outdoor seating on the patio out front. Concord Coffee offers a nice selection of drinks with unique syrups, etc. Although I didn't order coffee this time, I would be willing to try it in the future! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Their pastry case is limited and I believe they get their baked goods from somewhere local. I wasn't sure what to get and the worker recommended any of their pastries, as opposed to their bagels, as they were delivered fresh today. I ended up ordering the cinnamon roll, she heated it up and that took about 5 minutes. The cinnamon roll itself wasn't anything super special. The dough reminded me more of that of a croissant due to its flakier consistency. The glaze on top was light and the cinnamon inside was underwhelming. I still didn't have a problem with it until I reached the center. I noticed the center wasn't fully heated up and even felt slightly cold. But my biggest issue was the fact that the dough in the center was very much raw. It was not cooked/baked through at all. Disappointing to say the least. I would not return for a pastry or baked good, as I believe you can find better ones around the area for a better price. But I would return to try the coffee. Overall, I think Concord Coffee is a super cute coffee shop located in midtown. The staff is really sweet and helpful as well. I thought the inside was clean and I appreciated the decor. With that that being said, I would stick to beverages as opposed to their food items. My cinnamon roll was anything but special, I feel like one from Publix would have left me more satisfied. By biggest issue was definitely the fact that it wasn't baked through and raw in the center. I will get around to trying their coffee at some point in the future.

There is outside seating to if you're just coming to meet up with friends or just to sit for a bit while you enjoy a cup. Food: They have the Baker and Baker goodies just like other locations but also sell warm sandwiches! It is prepackaged and the baristas just heat it up. I got the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. I also tried the apple fritter and it was good. I do wish I tasted more apple in it but I know Opus didn't make it so can't complain. Drinks: They have other drinks here that are def named by Gen Z folks and some millennials lol. I didn't do an actual comparison but they seemed similar to the drinks at the Opus Airstream maybe slightly different flavors. I just always get an iced latte with no flavor...very boring lol. Many people claim that Cafe Voltaire serves some of the "most authentic" crepes around. Even someone said that to me as I was ordering. I feel as I am a good judge of an authentic crepe as I recently spent my whole summer in France. With that being said, my expectation were high! Serving a variety of both sweet and savory crepes, they have a great selection, with lots of different flavor combinations. The cafe was busier during this time of day, with lots of people studying. This is not just a student hangout, as there were plenty of locals there as well. As I stated in my previous review, I really loved the interior and atmosphere. It is unique, with a European accent, and there is nothing else like it in the area! Service was very friendly and offered some suggestions for what to order. I ended up ordering a savory crepe (galette) and a scoop of freshly churned gelato. For my savory crepe, I got the No. 8 - Raclette, potato, and confit onion per the workers recommendation. The crepe arrived at my table within 10 minutes of ordering and was made fresh on the spot. The buckwheat crepe was thin, with crisp edges, and ample filling. I wish the crepe had been a little softer as the consistency was slightly more "grainy" than I was expecting. The Raclette cheese was rich, with deep flavor, and complimented the soft potatoes & sweetness of the onions well. The crepe was very balanced and executed nicely--but these were still different from the buckwheat crepes I enjoyed in France this past summer. I wish the crepe had been slightly softer as I feel like it got too crispy and thin while being cooked. This contributed to a dryer texture and crunchier texture. I really loved the filling as the flavors worked well together and everything tasted very fresh. To round out the meal, I had a scoop of their Almond-Rose Vanilla gelato which was absolutely phenomenal. Texture was really good and the flavor was unique with a strong rose flavor. I will say this wasn't as good as the chocolate flavor I previously tried, but it was still delightful nonetheless! Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Cafe Voltaire and I'm glad I got to indulge in one of their savory crepes. While the crepes weren't really similar to the ones I enjoyed this summer, they are certainly the best you will find in the area. I wish they hadn't been as crispy and had more of a softer consistency. All the food is made fresh, with high-quality ingredients, and it is evident in the flavor of the food! I will note that the prices here are a little steeper. The ambiance here is truly something and I would like to return to study in the future. The gelato is a cannot miss though as you can't really find gelato anywhere else in Gainesville! They do a wonderful job at this and it is such a wonderful treat. I will definitely be back and look forward to trying more crepes!
