Wuff has the cutest interior ever, filled with lots of sunlight. The services is also lovely making it a great atmosphere to be in. I wasn't so impressed with my Irish breakfast however - I just felt like it was any typical Irish breakfast, nothing special. Had breakfast here this morning, decided against everything that is me and decided on the vegetarian option.... Very tasty, the usual suspects on the plate but with the addition of what I want to believe are homemade sausages. Beautiful filling with a crispy casing... Bright decor and a spacious feeling to with all the glass windows around. I reckon one more healthy option on the breakfast menu like a porridge or an avocado dish or its a winner. read more

Stopped in for a quick lunch and to avoid the rain mainly because of the name. I mean Wuff is a pretty amazing name. Very small restaurant that is beautifully decorated and a great lunch spot. It was full and as other reviews mentioned it did get busy and people were waiting to be seated. Which is a good sign in my book. I ordered the jerk chicken burger and a side of chips. The chips were delicious a nice mix of crispy and soft, just the way I like them. They were also perfectly seasoned. As for the burger, it tasted great and thanks to the guacamole had a nice refreshing taste to it. I wish I could come back for supper because in front of where I was sitting was their menu of proseco cocktails and they looked so amazing. Another great thing was that since it was a bit out of the center of Dublin, there were only locals. Just the way I like it. An OK brunch here on a very wet Saturday. We were given a table just inside the door. It can get a bit chilly when the door is opened on a cool day. Beside us were three students who felt the need to take over whatever space they could. Which, of course, isn't the fault of Wuff. Ordered a Wufftini and I watched them make it. I think I got half flat / half fresh Prosecco so it was a let down. I ordered the small Irish breakfast and a side of black pudding. The sausage was good, the bacon was salty and not that nice! The Clonakilty black pudding was well cooked as was the egg and the sourdough toast. I finished with a Mosecco. This just tasted like Prosecco with water... Couldn't really taste the lime or mint. Overall an ok experience. You can't reserve for brunch but you can call ahead to check if they're busy!! If you get the seat beside the door like we had you might feel a tad uncomfortable when the queue for a table is starting to grow. read more

If those Caeser fries didn't keep bleedin well pulling me back in...! As I've previously mentioned, the food in here is really really good. Like I cannot say one single thing to fault it. But I nearly wish it was shite so I wouldn't have to keep coming back here, as honestly the staff are a nightmare. There were four staff working on Monday morning's bank holiday shift, and with the exception of the lone ranger guy, not one of them raised a smile once the whole time we were there. Aside from the seriously cold attitude, it was all I could do to get their attention several times over the course of brunch. At one stage, four of them seemed to be very busy tidying menus, doing something at the til, someone else doing something else very studiously over the other side, but not one person looking to the floor to the two diners (myself and another table) that had been trying to get their attention for five minutes. I had to ask for water a few times - it was never refilled when we got to the end of our bottle, and it took a good five to ten minutes of trying to get their attention to get the bill, and again to pay. Eventually when I caught the eye of the waitress behind the til, she beckoned at me to come over to her to pay, rather than coming to take the money from me. This might seem like a princess type thing to complain about, but honestly it was as if she really just could not be bothered. Again, not even a smile was raised or barely a thank you when I did go up to her. I really hope the management in Wuff do read these reviews as I'm a big fan of the place besides the really shitty service, so I'd love for them to pull up their socks and make dining in here a more pleasurable experience. read more

First things first, I love the breakfast/ brunch in WUFF. It's my go-to place. Ever since the owner/ management changed, the service has become much much better, quicker, friendlier, just generally more service-y. So we went for dinner a while back. They do an early bird all evening Thursdays, with 2 courses for 19euro. Not bad at all. I started with the battered king prawns and my friend had the goats cheese samosas. Neither of the starters was nice. My prawns (not king but just average size) were deep-fried too lang and I couldn't bite through the too crispy batter. So I just ate the salad it was served with. The samosas were quite dry, my friend didn't enjoy them and sent at least half back. For mains I had the hake which was very tasty but a very small portion. The chicken dish my friend had was bigger but the chicken was awfully dry. He stopped eating half way through. So overall a very disappointing evening food-wise. But as I said, the breakfast/ brunch in there is great so I will return on a regular basis just for that. read more

Who put this here?... Myself and some colleagues walked the long and lonely road from Houston station to Smithfield and just happened across this place. We dropped in for brunch and were pleasant surprised. The Jamaican Jerk chicken burger was tender and amazing. I went for an iced tea too and it was one of the best I've ever had. It's a shame this one is so out of the way for most people, though I can see this being a good spot to go for a sunny weekend brunch. read more

This place looks super hipster once you realise its there, stylish grey paint, clean lines and an interior that reminded me strongly of New York, although I couldn't say why. I liked it immediately when we came in. The menu was simple and overall everything looked good, we got our tea and coffee first and the latte came in a mug!!! Props for that, I hate lattes that come in glasses, weird. The tea pot was cool, but unfortunately I did not like their own earl grey blend at all and I am pretty happy with any earl grey. The food itself was not great, especially for the price. We all paid about 12-15 for a drink and the meal and none of us were impressed by the food, in fact we were still looking for something to eat on the way home, which is never a good sign of a great brunch. The place is a little out of the way and I would come back for the atmosphere, but wouldn't walk all the way out for brunch that costs too much and gives so little. read more

Had brunch here last Saturday around 1pm. We went in with our 9 month old son who is in a buggy. The place was busy so to be fair I expected the eyes up to heaven from the waitress because of the buggy, but they were so accommodating. She explained that we could put the buggy in the corner and keep our son at the table which was fine. It was the last free table left. I had the full Irish which is top drawer, the pork and leek sausage and the sourdough toast stick out the most. My partner had the club sandwich which is very good. Cute little sweet baby jesus the slaw that is served with the sandwich is just amazing. The fry up/sandwich and 2 teas came to €22 which was super value I thought. The tea comes in a deadly tea pot so it's worth getting for that alone. Great place for brunch without the hassle of going into the city centre. We are in D15 so it's perfect, plenty of on street parking around there as well and right on the Luas track. An early evening dinner here with a few drinks after in Dice bar would be a great little night outside the city centre. read more

Had a lovely lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. My mate got the steak sandwich (red onion relish, Gruyere cheese in Focaccia YUM YUM). The serving of meat was a little small, but it was really tasty. I got the club sandwich (with spicy tomato relish and aioli YUM YUM YUM). The serving of chicken was very generous and the sandwich was great. Both came with a side of red coleslaw which was lovely. The bill came to €18.50, so not bad for the quality. The service was very friendly, however they forgot our order of chips (maybe they were thinking of our waist line). Sadly, Really disappointed with my visit this time, it's been over a year since my last visit but the full on breakfast I've had so many dreams about is now down rated to just a average breakfast. The only remaining part of the dream breakfast is the signature sausage, unfortunately their signature bacon has gotten the chop and replaced with hard thin bacon slices. The plate as mentioned by my friend was filled with bread more so than my fry. He joked did you just pay 10€ for bread because that's all I see. I built this breakfast up so much to my friends and when we left I truly felt I let them down. Hopefully WUFF will come back to their former glory. I will visit again as the staff and restaurant are great. But I might switch to something else read more

Brought the missus and the brats here for breakie and it was lovely. Welcomed at the door and shown straight to a table by a very bubbly attentive waitress, the menu is small which I like in a bistro (means they perfect what they serve). Had the full irish which was feckin fab and reasonably priced, eggs for the daughter small breakie for her and the ten month old shared and I mean with everyone which was no bother as he flirted with the stunning Eastern European woman sat next. Milk comes in tiny little bottles which is a nice touch. Very happy leaving and didn't need to consult with a mortgage advisor over the bill. Thanks guys read more

The interior is very nice with all the paintings of dogs hanged on walls, the Grey chairs and and the wooden floors thats giving it a warm still modern feeling. I have been here for Dinner, the food and service is excellent its simply not my type of restaurant but the breakfast is AMAZING, it's a simple but excellently produced meal and I have used this for few years now it hasn't changed. my only issue is the chef needs to learn how to cook fried eggs to order but other than that it has the wow factor. I'd heard so much about Wuff and was really excited to go yesterday after training (as my favourite post rowing brunch place is now closed). I must say I wasn't that wowed. A few things annoyed me more than anything...I was given two tiny pieces of toast with my breakfast (2 halves of a small piece of bread), so obviously I was going to order more, which ended up costing €2. Bit unfair. If you're going to offer toast in the dish, don't play games. Other niggly bits, but the food was good. I liked the sausage with the Irish fry and the coffee was delicious. But that's about it. There are other brunch places I want to return to first. read more

While visiting Dublin, my friends and I went to Wuff for breakfast twice! I try never to go to the same restaurants during a vacation because there's always so many other places to visit. That said, Wuff's staff was kind and accommodating, the food was great, and it was easy to get to from our hotel. Popped into Wuff for a late breakfast or an early lunch, having driven past it several times I was eager to give it a go. The Tall Canadian swears by it, and he's got a good palette. We sprinted down and made it in just before 11am, when the kitchen supposedly closes for breakfast. The interior is nice, a bit smaller than I was expecting from outside but bright and welcoming and about 80% full. Nice friendly greeting, coffees and food arrived pretty quickly. I plumped for the salmon eggs Benedict, and what a dish it was. Generous helpings of fresh salmon with fresh black pepper, gooey poached eggs on brioche toast smothered in a really nice Hollandaise sauce. The coffee was fresh and lively too, and refills were offered without asking so good service there. The tall fella opted for the eggs Benedict too, but with bacon instead of salmon, and the bacon was served lovely and crispy and was very flavoursome when I sneaked a bit off of his plate. I am for sure going to come back to Wuff again, next time I think for lunch, and I'll report back then, but so far I am a fan! read more

My first experience with Wuff will definitely not be my last. I had been meaning to make my way into Wuff for sometime and the opportunity finally arose on a warm and sunny Sunday about 1pm. We were seated at the last open table, as this place was absolutely packed. For Wuff being a small neighbourhood bistro, I wasn't expecting the menu that it had. Great for lunch and brunch, Wuff offer a selection of a la carte options putting a spin of great classics such as the BLT and Club sandwiches. Simple meets unique. I couldn't choose what to have to drink and ended up settling on tea as they have a fabulous selection of teas. I am on a mission to find out where they bought their tea pots because we were served our tea in individual cast iron tea pots. I couldn't decided if I was in the mood for brunch or lunch but as we were approaching 2pm, I figured it might be a bit late for brunch and turned to the lunch menu. I ordered the BLT, which was an open faced sandwich served with a small side of homemade coleslaw. Creamy, crunchy, savory coleslaw! I wish that I had left room for sweets because the homemade scones and Pain Au Raisin looked absolutely delectable. The service was great, extremely attentive. The atmosphere was great with the exception of the couple next to us who thought they were food critics and sent their dish back twice for absolutely no reason. Next time I'm back I think I'd like to check out the dinner menu. read more

You had me at 'Wuff'. Quite a lovely cafe that blends comfort and casual really well. Definitely a place where you can sit and really take in your eating experience without feeling hurried along. I ordered off the menu a bit and they were really fine about that... and very good natured about my request for anything other than sour-dough bread! Which is a current trend which I do not appreciate!! Their wheaten bread was really really nice though. My only complaint, and I'm guessing that it's something that's pretty specific to me, is that they put pepper on my fried eggs. I don't know why on earth you would put pepper on fried eggs anyway, but its a bit extra icky for me as I'm allergic to pepper. I have gotten used to checking that it's not on things I order if it's something that usually comes with pepper. But I never thought I'd have to check for it on fried eggs! This is also an increasing trend that I've noticed... so maybe Wuff is too trendy for me!! But still I'd happily go back, I'd just remember to ask them not to put pepper on my food next time read more

Had a really nice brunch here unexpectedly. Had planned to go to my local but it was closed over Christmas. I had the black pudding and hallumi salad. Was really good. Plus a sausage on the side. Random I know. Was a really good combo - the salad. Had to get desert as it looked incredible. It tasted even better. Waffles with strawberry and ice cream. Delish. I really enjoyed dinner here the other night. My husband and I stumbled upon this place last Thursday and were able to grab a table without a reservation after a 30 min. wait. On Thursdays, they do their early bird menu all evening. For about 19 euros you get a 2-course meal, for 22 euros a 3-course meal. We both had the chicken for an entree and it was delicious. The appetizers were good and the dessert - a date pudding (cake) with caramel sauce and ice cream was to die for. This was the best meal I have had in Ireland to date. Food was not bad but the portions are tiny. Not one for huge appetites! Was there for brunch and the "full Irish" amounts to little more than a single sausage, two rashers of bacon, a small egg, a small pot of beans and two tiny medallions of black and white pudding, with toast.
