Lovely breakfast on our first morning in Dublin.

Super spot for a quick breakfast with a view of the Liffey. Stopped in on our first morning in Dublin and went two more times during our stay. Reasonable prices for breakfast favorites. Ask for the WIFI password and they bring it out on an old fashioned coffee grinder. Friendly and attentive waiters take good care of you!

Been here a few times over the years while staying in Dublin . Great coffee and food serviced in a friendly efficient way . If you want or need a hug in a mug this is your place to go !

Couches by the window to people watch on the Quay.

This place plays great music and has an awesome location next to the Morrison (on the Quay). Very cute with excellent coffee and dessert. I could sit on the couch and look out for hours.

Just another coffee shop. Their mocha was bland and weak. The scone was fresh but tasted like it was made from bisquick mix. I had high hopes for a place called mochaland with my chocolate addiction and all, but nothing was impressive. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. More tourists in there than locals. Meh.

    Large portions!

Vacationing in Ireland and saw the previous Yelp reviews. So glad we stopped in for dinner. Excellent river view, excellent three course dinner for 18euro.

It seems like this keeps happening to us, but I'm ok with it. We were on our way to a breakfast spot we had found, and happened upon this place on our way. So we changed plans and headed inside! I'm so glad we did!!!! The food was amazing but the service was even better!!!! We will be back for sure!!

What a gem next to the river. Delicious couscous salad and personable staff even though they made fun of us Americans using our computers at the table.

This gem is located right next to the Morrison Doubletree. We got the evening's special of chicken on a couscous salad and it was delicious. We also shared the carrot cake and Black Forest cake- both were great. Our waitress was from Romania and was so exceptional. It was obvious she loved her job and the people she works with. I highly recommend this location for any meal, even just a pastry and coffee.

This cafe is ..... Fine Cheap enough for being bang in the city centre staff were nice an checked on the table a few times But the food and coffee were very middle of the road, not bad enough to complain about not nice enough to compliment .. My girlfriend ordered tea and didn't even bring it out in a teapot just hot water in a cup and a tea bag which was odd. As I said not a bad place , just wouldn't go out of my way to revisit

    afternoon special for 4.50Euro
    Yvonne B.

I literally ran in here to hide from the rain and was greeted with a smile. How nice! I was offered the menu but I declined saying I was just having coffee. I couldnt, however, pass on the afternoon special of any cake and any type of coffee for 4.50Euro.

    Yummy vegan wrap
    Heike K.

This was a nice little surprise in what isn't really the most beautiful part of Dublin. I'd call it cheap and cheerful - it's not fancy but great for a quick lunch. I opted for the vegan wrap which is heavy on the salad but was just right for what I had been looking for, and inspired me to try out the couscous-in-a-wrap option at home. I was too full for desert but seeing as it is called Mochaland I really want to try one, and one of their yummy-looking cookies, next time. Due to the location I wouldn't seek it out but if you happen to be in the area and looking for lunch or a sweet snack, it's just right.

Since I don't eat red meat, I was very excited to see a vegetarian Irish breakfast option. I ordered this as well as a mocha latte. Despite the rain, my friend and I sat outside since all of the indoor seating was occupied. Thankfully some heaters provided warmth for what could've been a chilly breakfast. Very quickly the lattes came out which my friend and I sipped on. They were soooo cute, mine had the design of a little bear on top! The latte itself was hot and not too sweet, the perfect start to the experience. After a few short minutes, the food came out! Immediately, my friend and I dug in. It was honestly everything I expected and even more! There were no weak links on the plate and there were generous portions as well. I sat there for a while working my way through my delicious plate!! Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Beanhive. It was an aesthetic cafe that also provided a hearty breakfast. I would definitely recommend.

I accidentally dropped the top dollop of the croffin and the staff member was very kind to replace it with a new one, which was not necessary but VERY much appreciated! We enjoyed this place so much we went twice (which we try not to do) during our Ireland road trip! Tried the onion and the potato savory pastries and they were perfect! I didn't wait more than 5/10 minutes. I grabbed a couple of different things for us to try -- the focaccia, morning bun, salted caramel roll, and the cinnamon roll. My favorite was easily the focaccia, which could compete with the best I had in Italy -- so good. The morning bun was good, but nothing crazy exciting. The salted caramel roll had to be the least caramel-y caramel roll I've ever had, but it didn't taste bad and the salted part was interesting (in a good way!). The Cinnamon roll was unique, which I appreciate. It had a big glob of cream cheese frosting (too much for me, but I imagine it would float a lot of folks' boats) and some orange flavoring! I quite liked the orange. I wanted to get a matcha to go, but they said they didn't have disposable cups. You could buy a 5 euro reusable one and then if you brought it back you'd get a refund... interesting, but I was leaving that day and wouldn't be back in the area. I can't speak to the ambiance because we were in and out, but it looked like they had a decent amount of space. All in all, I would recommend this place! For me it was a 4, but I'm sure for some it would bop up to a 5.

Sunken below street level it feels more off the main path and you have to keep your eyes out to find it easily. Walking in the place has a real chill and cozy vibe up front. I was seated right way and ordered off their all day menu. I got their Double Baked eggs, brown soda bread, bacon, sausage and roast tomato. For my tastes the double baked eggs were overdone, but that's double baked for you. Everything else was so delicious though that I truly didn't even notice. It was a wonderful pile of meat overflowing out of a little skillet with a stack of soda bread and butter. Truly it was a delight. I also ordered up their irish coffee. This was especially fun because it's not a simple shot of whiskey, coffee and cream. They create a brown sugar syrup blended with the whiskey to cook off the alcohol but retain the flavor. This means you can day drink and not even bat an eye at it being strange. The flavor was delicious and I'll be trying to recreate this at home for sure.
