Since I don't eat red meat, I was very excited to see a vegetarian Irish breakfast option. I ordered this as well as a mocha latte. Despite the rain, my friend and I sat outside since all of the indoor seating was occupied. Thankfully some heaters provided warmth for what could've been a chilly breakfast. Very quickly the lattes came out which my friend and I sipped on. They were soooo cute, mine had the design of a little bear on top! The latte itself was hot and not too sweet, the perfect start to the experience. After a few short minutes, the food came out! Immediately, my friend and I dug in. It was honestly everything I expected and even more! There were no weak links on the plate and there were generous portions as well. I sat there for a while working my way through my delicious plate!! Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Beanhive. It was an aesthetic cafe that also provided a hearty breakfast. I was seated right way and ordered off their all day menu. I got their Double Baked eggs, brown soda bread, bacon, sausage and roast tomato. For my tastes the double baked eggs were overdone, but that's double baked for you. Everything else was so delicious though that I truly didn't even notice. It was a wonderful pile of meat overflowing out of a little skillet with a stack of soda bread and butter. Truly it was a delight. I also ordered up their irish coffee. This was especially fun because it's not a simple shot of whiskey, coffee and cream. They create a brown sugar syrup blended with the whiskey to cook off the alcohol but retain the flavor. This means you can day drink and not even bat an eye at it being strange. The flavor was delicious and I'll be trying to recreate this at home for sure.

Only served for breakfast or all day during the weekend. Their pancakes were super delicious (€13). We tried it with honey, syrup, Nutella and banana's. These are served all day and everyday. I also tried their baked beans and kale that came with tomato baked beans and fried kale on bread and topped with fried eggs (€14.5). It was good. Another breakfast item that is served for breakfast or all day on the weekends. Their Caprese sandwich for lunch is addictive and they pair it with a great tasty bread (€11). Their cakes and teas are tasty, I love their chocolate cake. Their coffee, lattes and Mocha are average. But the experience and atmosphere still make them enjoyable. Overall, this is a place that I will always visit.
