Huge portions and super flavorful. This is a cool dry hot pot spot. You get to choose whatever you like to add in your dry pot. I got fatty beef, enoki, oyster mushroom, winter melon, Shanghai bok choy and tripe. I choice medium spicy for my level and it came in a giant tray!!! Might I mention the grand total was $32!!!! I could easily feed 4-5 people. The lady gave me 2 boxes of rice for that tray. I'm def going again when I don't want to hot pot and cook my own food. This will be my lunch for the next few days =P

Been wanting to try dry hotpot and found this spot in Brooklyn! Came on a Saturday for lunch and there was plenty of seating! For dry hot pot there is a menu to choose the vegetables, meat, seafood, and noodles. For two we we ordered the following: Chinese cabbage($3.5),Chinese Bok choy ($3.5), Soy Bean Sprout ($3.5), rice cake ($3.5), Sliced lotus ($3.50)Shrimp($4.50), Fish tofu($4.50), Sliced beef ($5). Total of $31.5 which was not bad and we chose the less spicy option haha . We were so stuffed! The staff was friendly and came to change our plates several times and offered more water. This place is really close to the train station. Overall it was great and I would want to come back to try a different spice level!

My go to spot now for some cheap spicy soup with different varieties of noodles. It was only $10 for a big portion and you get to pick 2 types of meat to add in from the menu. I got the shredded beef and squid. Service was nice and explained everything to me and my bf and the food came pretty quick. Ambiance wise it was pretty quiet but definitely a go to spot to warm up and get a lot for your buck. Will come back :)

My friends and I came here on a Friday night. There was a 30 minute wait, which wasn't terrible for a small restaurant with limited seating. We got three giant pots of food. Each one tasted amazing! All 6 of us couldn't finish the food and ended up bringing the rest home. Just a note for any visitors, the workers here primarily speak mandarin, there may be some language barriers here!

My girlfriend and I was craving hot pot and came here because we pass by it very often. Finally took a chance and it did not disappoint!! Right across the street from popeyes. They give you a paper to mark the ingredients you want in your mala dry hot pot. I guess we ordered a lot it came in two bowls We didnt mind tho. The flavor was amazing, and we got medium spicy. It was spiced just right, flavorful cause we were hungry. They have spicy level up to extra spicy which in chinese is funny because its 'abnormally' spicy. It usually comes with white rice, but we ordered egg fried rice instead. The EFR was good flavored just kind of ingredient less. Wished they had more fried rice variety.

I really like Wu La Bu Huan. I've ordered delivery from here countless times and dined in a few times as well. Yesterday was one of those dine in days and we had a really good experience. The place was crowded but we got seated right away. We ordered our go-to order- dry pot with different veggies, some fish items as protein, and an order of spicy crab. Unfortunately the crab was sold out and they said they can make spicy shrimp instead, after some hesitation we agreed. The service and food was excellent, the staff were busy running around but when called over they came right away. The food came out quickly as well. One thing to note is if you ask for spicy. They will bring the pain! For many it might be too much but we love it. The drypot tasted really fresh and there was an abundance of flavor. The shrimp, whatever sauce they use for it is amazing. I gobbled down my food while blotting the sweat from my forehead (I wasn't kidding about the spice!). The portions are huge so we took the leftovers in a takeaway. Overall a 5/5 dining experience. However the delivery (via UberEATS) is sometimes inconsistent. We usually order the same thing mentioned above. Two problems to note: Sometimes there's missing protein - I'll order sliced fish in my drypot but it's no where to be seen They also seem to make substitutions at will - I'll order the Spicy crab but instead they send spicy shrimp which I'm assuming it means they ran out of crab. Although the shrimp is really good, that's not what I ordered.

One of the best late night food spots. It's open super late and food is consistently good. If you love hot pot and spice, this is the place to go.

I have ordered dry hotpot takeout from this place several times before. It's been a while since my last visit and I decide to get a grilled fish this time, which I totally regret about doing so. I have terrible terrible experience this time! I found at least two hair in the food, maybe there's more. It is very unappetizing and gross. I'm seriously concern about the hygiene of this restaurant. It's unworthy to spend $50 on a dish that brings me this type of experience. Will not go to this place anymore!

My family and I frequented this place prior to covid. We found it in a delivery app and tried it tonight and it was still as good as we remembered it! The portions are amazing. This amount of food was approximately $30 and was too much to finish for two people, so we will portion it out for the next few days. The taste is pretty good and I think they give a small container of rice for every $10 spent.

My boyfriend and I wanted to try this place out since there's limited places to get good dry pot as compared to flushing, Queens. I called ahead to place my order and even after looking at google reviews, there wasn't a clear menu but I've eaten at several dry pot esque places to know what they might serve and how to order. I called and asked for beef dry pot and I was expecting them to either have pre made dry pots to order or self order ingredients for dry pot. It was the latter and so I proceeded to ask for specific vegetables I enjoy. I ordered cabbage, potatoes, kelp, wide bean noodles, cauliflower, tofu bean curd and just beef for the meat. Note, when I initially called to ask if their dry pot comes with orders of rice they said no and I was fine with that. But after we finished taking down my order she said they'll gift us two orders of rice. I couldn't hear super well as we were on the road but I was pleasantly surprised and a little confused. So if you do order here just clarify if it comes with rice but they may also just gift you rice if you order a lot? Not sure. The total came out to $24 which was within my expectations. When I arrived to the store front for pick up, I was a little confused but you just have to step inside their front door and you're greeted with a large clear box used for exchange (also preparation was super quick I placed and received my order all within 15 minutes). It's a clear box where you open the door flap on your side to pay ** CASH ONLY** and then they lift up their side after u closed yours to retrieve the cash. Same for the placement of your food order. I was surprised at this contraption but I very much applaud them for this and taking safety measures seriously. Always glad to see that. As for the food itself it was mediocre at best hence the medium 3 star rating. The flavor wasn't all there as it was just al spicy. It was missing depth but I do have to say the portion size was HUGE for $24. So if you're looking to just curb your craving and eat a lot of spicy food then this is the spot! I don't think I would come back for the food specifically but maybe if I wanted a quick bite in the area.

The dry hotpot tastes the best at mild level spicy since you can taste the flavor better without just a spicy flavor. The fish in chili was a huge let down. Although the dish is a lot bigger than expected, it was annoying to eat because of the amount of bones and there wasn't much flavor.

The food was very fairly priced and the portions were huge. We got the pork soup dumplings, pork fried rice, szechuan chicken (which came with white rice), and pad see ew (which though not listed comes with pork, chicken, and shrimp). Everything was solid, but our favorite was the fried rice which had a ton of flavor. I liked the veggies that were in the chicken dish but there were just way too many of them compared to the chicken and I wasn't crazy about the sauce. The pad see ew wasn't made the traditional way I've had it with soy sauce and oyster sauce. It had some sort of orange sauce that tasted closer to a sweet and sour. It wasn't bad it was just not what I was hoping for. The soup dumplings were solid, no complaints there. And the fried rice was great, lots of flavor. Overall, I liked this place especially for the price but I'd probably order different things if I went back.

I found parking down the block and walked over to the restaurant. It seems like more of a delivery spot because there was no one inside sitting at any of the 5 tables. It's a fairly good size space, very simply decorated, mixed with a cool wall resembling a curio cabinet of treasures. I chose a spot in the middle and went to the restroom which was clean and simple. I noticed there were a lot of takeout orders, from delivery services to local folks picking up their regular dinner. I looked over the menu and decided on salt and pepper wings and an order of shrimp. Fried Rice came out first and it was delicious. I even tasted a hint of salted egg yolk mixed into the egg mixture friefried up with the rice that signature crispiness with the little saltiness.... fantastic. The salt and pepper wings were different than the ones i'm accustomed to though the flavor was amazing. It didn't have the fried garlic, peppers, chilis, and onions that i'm accustomed to being in the dish. They were still flavorful, juicy and crisp and I could tell they cooked them fresh. That was much appreciated. I ended up taking half of my food home because I was stuffed.Thank you Msm Ellen and the Crown Garden crew for a tasty solo dinner.

There was nothing that I ordered that needed ketchup. Nothing. There wasn't even soy sauce in the bag. Then had the unmitigated gall to charge $22 for the salt baked shrimp and told me I had to pay $5 extra to substitute the lo mein for white rice. Who is eating white rice with shrimp? Girl bye. I'm not paying almost $30 for one meal from a hood Chinese spot. If there's no heat in your establishment, your prices need to be in lowercase. If it looks like you might catch staph in your establishment, your prices need not to be so loud. I also believe they overcharged me. They did have a sign saying that the prices went up, but I think they may have been too cheap to print out a new menu if that was the case. I was going off of what they had on the wall for the general public. So as I stated, I ordered crab Rangoon ($7, allegedly), honey wings ($7, allegedly), a shrimp egg roll ($2, allegedly), spare rib tips with fried rice ($12, allegedly). My total was $31. My assumption is they probably charged me extra for pork fried rice, which I didn't ask him for. I know for a fact they are not charging tax because there's no way that you're forcing people to pay in cash while also charging them for taxes that you don't pay. The crab Rangoon was actually pretty decent even though I didn't have the sauce that comes with it. The honey wings were OK. They actually taste more like honey BBQ. I prefer C&Y honey wings. It's real honey and stay hot for an hour due to the way honey maintains heat. I also don't appreciate when these spots chop up a wing and call it two wings. 1 wing is the entire thing. STINGY. The spare rib tips I don't like and neither do I like their pork fried rice. The rice is a bit bland and I don't like those large spare rib tips. I prefer the boneless spare rib tips that C&Y has. A shrimp roll is a shrimp roll is a shrimp roll. It wasn't too bad and it was actually pretty happy. The shrimp was a little bit larger than those baby shrimp that they normally stuff in shrimp rolls. Their pricing is on par with C&Y yet I don't have no issues paying what they ask and their food is good aside from their lo mein. They are not stingy and have pretty decent customer service unlike the guy who took my order here who paused my order to take another order over the phone and tend to the person behind me. This is what I get for cheating on my spot and being lazy when they both were far af.

However, the real negative here is the operations. It is a chaotic mess for the volume they are trying to do. It's not about adding more manpower, it's about streamlining. The Yelp waitlist is useless here - wait was supposed to be 5-10 minutes and it turned into almost 40. All this could have been avoided with more planning, better organization, and training.
