I visited this location few hours ago to take some out of town relatives to shop for several pairs of shoes to take back home to all of their grandkids. Me and my two nieces were tired from standing as our relatives continued their shopping, so we took a seat where customers try on shoes. There were about four boxes of shoes on the floor and in the seats in that area from other customers that did not return them to their place; an employee saw the mess around us. We sat there for about 20 minutes and were made very uncomfortable by the same employee who saw the mess. She constantly kept looking in our direction as if we were not allowed to sit on those seats. She also walked by us two times. Since we felt that we were maybe invading her work area, we notified our relatives that we were going down the street for a snack while they shopped. Before we reached the door I smiled and started to say "bye" to that same employee that was making us feel uncomfortable as we waited for our relatives, and she stopped me in the middle of me saying "bye" and rudely said "excuse me ma'am but I'm going to have to check your bag." I asked her why? She said it was "store policy to check everyone's bag before they leave, I didn't tell you when you walked in." I then replied, "okay, I didn't steal anything" because that is what she was implying in front of the other customers. Of course she found nothing but my personal items. I felt very disrespected, especially in front of everyone else in the store and by her tone. I have never been in trouble with the law, nor have I most certainly never taken anything from any store or any one. When my relatives left they met with us at their house and I asked them if they checked their bags before they left, since it was "store policy" and all, and what do you know.....they were not asked to open their bags for inspection before they left. I will NEVER return to this place that accuses customers in such an unprofessional and condescending manner in front of everyone. They need to further their training for current and future employees on how to properly address what is thought to be "suspicious" activity (in other words just sitting there chatting). As for the general aspects of the store: it was clean and organized besides the few boxes of shoes that were left in some of the aisle by other customers. There are even some clothing to look through for women but it is nothing all that special. Prices are average compared to other shoe warehouses. Aside from noticing how many workers were on there phone, workers hiding behind counters and isles while chatting w other employees. ONE latino out of all the chusma that worked there was tentative on helping. Active manager/superviser and greeter were by the door, both deep into their phones and took him a minute to recognize i was the only one in line waiting. I came to this store because I still had a $24 gift card from a signing event a week ago. It was more of an incentive because my rewards card said that I'd get $10 off my next purchase. However, it also said "see store for details. As the old saying goes, "if it's too good to be true, it usually is." Well, it's only $10 off if I spent $200 or more. I thought the selection was decent and the prices were average. I purchased a pair of Nike for my kid. The shopping experience was pretty average. I wasn't wow'd the the prices, shopping experience, nor customer service. The cashier seemed to be pre-occupied gossiping at the front with another employee. It was pretty much self-serve in the isles. Nobody approached us asking whether we needed help or anything. You know I'm always searching for a deal these days, especially because kids grow out of their clothes and shoes so quickly! WSS just didn't didn't hit the mark for that kind of deal for me. I ordered an item online for pick up in store and even though I didn't receive the confirmation email that it was ready for pick up, Jacqueline was able to update the online order. I picked this location because they had the specific item in stock and I needed it urgently as a gift. No hassle, no questions, just good work. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Well, their shoe selections sucks nuts. But, if you read my previous review, they at least used to carry a decent selection of cargo shorts. But no longer. Now they only sell gym clothes (sweats, basketball shorts, etc). Congrats WSS...you got rid of the one reason I had to shop at your store. read more

I've shopped at WSS before, but never this location. ..and I never will. They share a parking lot with Denny's. -the busier of the two businesses. I took a trip to Denny's tonight for some food at 10pm. I pulled in from Euclid and had to squeeze through one of their three vans parked exactly in the center of the parking lot. Wtf, guys?? I got out of my truck and said, "Hey. You guys can't just park normal?" One associate replied with, "It's cos we were loading.". This inconsideration shows me their attitude for business here. At least don't lie. Wouldn't you park your vehicles close to the door for loading instead of the middle of the lot? let me start by saying that the store employees were very helpful. order#67843 i went to that store because i ordered my boyfriends a pair of vans for his birthday 6/1/18 and they where to be shipped there. well after i got the order confirmation saying they were ready for pickup i went to the store the next day 6/3/18 and to my surprise they where not there. A lovely helpful woman was helping me and said that she would personally take care of me and would call corporate to check on my order because it looked like the online service team messed up with the email. the following day 6/4/18 i spoke to the lady again and she said that the manager she spoke to guaranteed i would get my shoes by Thursday 6/7/18. i called the 844-746-7977 to make sure was she said was correct and Walter indeed confirmed. now here's where things get shady. i got an email maybe 1 hour after the phone calls saying my order was cancelled and a refund was issued. wtf! since it was past 6 when i looked at my email the customer service number above was closed for the day. now fast forward to this morning. i called the c.s number above and spoke to William. i asked him what was going on with my order and he told me that my order was refunded and cancelled because the shoes where out of stock. wtf!! how do you confirm a order and then turn around and say its out of stock, i asked him if there was anything he could do to help and he said no. i asked to speak to the manager and he said no because he went to breakfast. ugh!! so now im mad but i had a little idea of going online. i check for the same vans i had order to check if they where in stock and guess what they still show available online. so i went ahead and used the live chat option that they have on the top left corner to speak with a Representative (karen) i told her the situation and gave her my order number and told her that online the shoes are still available. she confirmed and actually told me that there was 13 in stock. now way was my order cancelled. she said she didnt know. (great!!!) she went on to tell me why i couldn't just go to the store and buy them there. (rude) and i told her because the shows were cheaper online and that i had a coupon for 10% with free shipping and that the store would not give me the shoes at that same price (which they should because its the same damn company and they should honor their prices) now after i got off the chat with her. i called the customer service number again spoke to a man not sure what his name was because she kept mumbling it when i asked. i asked him what was going on and why i couldn't speak to a manager he said he would help me and then he went on to say that the shoes weren't in stock and that the lady i spoke to online was mistaken and that she dint look at the notes. he then went on to say that the online information is wrong and that there was no way for me to get the shoes and that he really couldn't do anything else for me because they had already started a refund transaction. The store employees are amazing and had excellent customer service. but your online website customer service is horrible and if in fact you dont have something available then why is it advertised online. i am extremely disappointed and upset. this is one of the only gifts that he wanted and i thought i had done good and got them but all this was ruined and a mess. like i dont even know what to call this besides a cluster. this makes me want to never do business with your company again. read more

The WSS event today of the FREE AUTOGRAPH signing of the baseball player Howie Kendrick went vary excellent . William and the employees of WSS wrre more than helpful . Kept the crowd entertained with free giveaways prizes. They also gave us the opportunity to enteract with the crowd. WSS employees announced numerous Times that there was two lines. One was a VIP LINE which if you purchased an item in the store of $20 and above that you were guaranteed a FREE AUTOGRAPH . They also said that with the purchase of the amount of $75 dollars not only did you get in the VIP line but would receive A SET OF VALSURE TICKETS TO A FUTURE los angeles of Anaheim angels . The employees on the mic announced numerous times again to let the crowd know of the VIP LINE. Willlam also announced the Time to finish time Mr. Hendricks was goong to be signing Free autographs . Terrible customer service. Awful. I went there one time and the staff was nice but when I went back to try and exchange or return the second pair of shoes I purchased. The staff was a bit different and they were so rude. Literally laughed at me when I asked to return my shoes. I have purchased many shoes there and was surprised by how I was treated like a criminal for wanting to exchange/return my shoes. The girl literally laughed at me for not having the box and then proceeded to take the shoes to the back to I suppose look at the shoes under a microscope. I did not wear he shoes and she claimed I did!! I couldn't believe it. I have never felt so uncomfortable when buying or returning something. B cause of this I will not be taking my business back or recommending this place to anyone. I went to another wss and was easily able to return the shoes no problem. The girl basically just didn't want to do it. Couldn't believe it. Awful experience. Not worth the price I'd rather spend my money at Nike outlet or adidas outlet.
