The fact that it has taken this long and the glasses are still not ready says a lot about the level of professionalism and communication throughout this process. I understand that delays can happen, but I would have appreciated better follow-up and more accurate information regarding the status of my child's glasses. Great experience from beginning to end…read more Went in for my first visit here on 5-2-25 and was very impressed by the service. The entire staff were extremely friendly and efficient. I was seen as soon as I walked in. They did a great job taking images and testing my eye. Dr Shields was super nice, patient, and explained my results thoroughly. I never felt rushed or treated like another number. Jasmin helped me out my whole way through and even hooked me up with a couple pairs of glasses through my insurance. This is my only eye doctor and place I'll order glasses from here on out.

Dr. Shields explained all of the results of my examinations to me in terms that I could understand. I wear reading glasses every day for work as I'm constantly in front of a computer screen, so my eyes tend to get very irritated and dry by the end of the day. She offered me a coupon for an over-the-counter eye-drop solution that I'm using daily now. I was able to pick out a new eyeglass frame, too. Her members of staff were very warm, patient and friendly as well.

I ordered a pair of glasses over a month ago and have been trying to get an update. The problem is that no one ever answers the phone. I've called at different times throughout the day--9 AM, noon, 3 PM--and every single call goes straight to voicemail. I've followed the instructions, left voicemails, and have never received a callback. It's incredibly frustrating when a business is impossible to reach, especially when customers are simply trying to get information about a prescription order they've already paid for. I understand offices get busy, but consistently sending callers to voicemail and never responding is unacceptable when this is happening on a daily basis. I hope management addresses these communication issues because the experience is nowhere near what it used to be. I Would not recommend this optometrist office.

I went a few days ago, let me just say horrible customer service from the lady with the gray hair…read more Very rude especially when I told her I told I didn't feel comfortable saying my social security number out loud in public, laughed and did a smirk like if she was annoyed. I work in healthcare and I never ask a patient to say it out loud when I do eligibility checks. I guess different protocols in different settings. Then when im told to go to the back to check out the glasses I didn't see anything I liked so I go back to her and ask if I can go to the room they have to see if I like anything (since I've been a prior patient yrs ago I know about it) and she's like yeah. I go back and out of respect and privacy to the patient and dr that are in the room I'm waiting outside in there hallway. The dr and patient come out and the same gray hair receptionist goes into the hallway looks at me goes back to the front and calls in a patient. Keep in mind I had asked her and I was waiting. Seriously?! When I had called days before the girl I spoke to didn't say I needed an appointment to look at the glasses but if I needed to make one to get better service they should've said so! If I could report all this to the board I definitely would! I understand the stress with working with patients but "US" as employees in healthcare need to keep in mind patients is what brings revenue into the business and if you give horrible service and reading other reviews you do, it's not a good thing that's were patients go to other places. I went to Walmart instead. Way better service I was in and out in like 15 minutes. So just take your money elsewhere. Side note: If there isn't enough staff or if you don't like your work environment simply just look for a different one!

Made an appointment and I came early to complete the paperwork. Then I was called in right after. They are not busy. As in I am the only customer. The prices are posted on the wall. Looking at it, they are affordable and most vision insurance can cover it. But when I handed mine, they are no longer associated with them. Oh well, I am already there so I went with the eye exam. I opted for the complicated one which is $110 plus $25 for dilation. Dr Kim was thorough with his explanation regarding the results. He explained it in a way that it is easy to grasp. But when it came to my contact lens fitting. He was adamant in giving me another pair to try on. I told him that it is blurry and I can't read the brochure he gave me. He keeps on insisting that I'll get used to it. I insisted also then he gave me another pair to try. Again, the same thing and he said you have 30 days. So right there and then, I decided not to wait for 30 days to come back. I am the one wearing it so I know when it is not the right one.
