This place has its grand opening this week. It's a nice and cozy family-run restaurant that is pleasant and welcoming immediately as you enter. They have a wide range of food on their menu, but the emphasis is definitely on quality meats used in platters and wraps. They also have some particularly exciting looking breakfast offerings, and I was told by their lovely staff that they intend to serve breakfast all-day. I ordered the chicken seekh kabab platter, which comes with rice and salad as well. It was excellent. The meat was properly cooked, possessed perfect moisture, and felt fresh. Its seasoning was balanced (I ordered it Mild) and the food was very filling. The ambiance is perfect for a quick bite on Telegraph, and there is seating present for those who would like to eat in the restaurant. The service is also pleasant and prompt. My friend ordered a mango lassi ( which was rlyyyyyyy good and the best mango lassi on telegraph) and although me and my other friend didn't order anything, the owner still gave us a sample of the mango lassi and the garlic masala fries. It was sooooo good, get the garlic fries their actually the best fries ever. Also everything is actually reasonably priced compared to all of the restaurants and especially the other Indian restaurants nearby. Great quick bite on Telegraph near campus. Yesterday they were handing out samples of their chicken kebab and it was extremely flavorful, delicious, and juicy. I came back today to get an egg & cheese breakfast burrito on my way to campus around 9:30. The burrito was simple but excellent and came with 2 sauces. Heard from a friend this place just opened up and I was in the mood for a quick wrap, but man the service, the food and the ambience was all impeccable, I honestly had a lot of questions about the food and the person taking my order was very nice and explained everything thoroughly and they didn't mind at all. One time I walked past them and they were giving out samples of the chicken tikka masala. It was good. Not dry, not drowning in sauce, enough spice to give a mild kick, and tender. I kept telling myself to try them because of that sample. I finally ordered from them. Quick service and food is prepared after ordering. I ordered the chicken tikka wrap and the woman taking my order asked about the spice level. I replied "I like spicy"...that first bite....WOW. It was so good and the spice level kept slowly building until I could only take a few bites before wiping my face because I was sweating. I loved it. The chicken was tender and I'm pretty sure they were giving out samples of their regular spice level. Go for spicy, it's not watered down. read more
