Small Beef Gyros Shawarma Plate with fries instead of rice

I had a specific craving for shawarma and fries on a rainy weeknight at 8:30 pm. After placing the online order on their website, it was ready in about 20 minutes. The employee at the register was polite. The small Beef Gyros Shawarma Plate ($17.99) was actually quite large! I got full after eating only half. As mentioned, I chose the french fries instead of rice. The thick crinkle-cut fries were very crispy and a touch salty. I found the beef flavorful, but not as juicy as I hoped. I enjoyed the generous drizzle of creamy, garlicky sauces that had a similar mouthfeel to nacho cheese. The side of hummus was very good: rich, creamy, and smooth. I appreciated the fresh simplicity of the herbed salad, which consisted of crisp cucumber, tomato, and diced red onion. The borderline blandness of the vegetables balanced out the salt and grease on the rest of the plate. My least favorite item was probably the pita bread. It was just okay - thin and cold.

Went here for lunch and ordered a shawarma wrap. The place looks small but it has plenty of seating. Our order was taken and service was amazing. The small shawarma was a lot of food for me great for leftovers took it home and had it later and it was still delicious.

Really tasty fast-casual at a decent, if not cheap, price. My wife and I were craving shawarma, and this was one of quite a few in the Glendale area. Menu had plenty of options, and I liked that they had combo options as well as a fiery house sauce. I did takeout so can't really speak to the service, but they do have the tip option for takeout which is a sore spot for some people. Generally though it was a great experience. I'd prefer a tiny bit more garlic and pickle in my wrap but it was very good.

I recently revisited and was confused by the lack of pork shawarma. It looks like there was a recent change in management, and this is now a halal restaurant. I still enjoyed it, but just keep that in mind.

Ravi is the man, always puts me in a good mood when I see him here. My usual is the fries it up or chicken curry but everything here is 10/10. I come here at least once a week now because everything is super tasty. Also there house sauce is amazing make sure you get some!

Today was my first time coming and I was very hopeful. I love rice dishes as it reminds me of Philadelphias food scene. The Halal cuisine, Indian cuisine, just a variety. I was greeted by a very kind gentleman and very enthusiastic about seeing a new customer. We had a nice chat and I wish I could've tasted the food there just to tell him how AMAZING the food was. Although it was empty upon first glance I still made my way inside this nice small but spacious restaurant. I will return especially since I will be starting Nursing school down the street and possible eat here almost everyday. That's how good it was. I hope when I return this Thursday he has Tzatziki! Food is very tasteful, was ready quick and the service was impeccable. Thank you.

This is the most delicious shawarma iv ever had!!! A bit saucy but definitely delicious! The salad is also delicious! I was on keto so i ordered the plate and forgot to let them know not to add rice or bread but i can separate them since the rice was beneath. UPDATE: we all got food poisoning from the chicken. Absolutely gross. Never ever EVER coming back here again. Some of us are still recovering from this horrible food. Some highly suggested advice you should STOP SERVING OLD FOOD! No wonder there were no other customers inside. read more

Small and clean spot serving up delicious gyros. The chicken shawarma was super flavorful and tender. Their hummus was was perfectly creamy. Ordered fries instead of rice and it was mind blowing the flavors of the chicken and their sauces with the fries make me want to go back for more. 1) Ambiance was pretty dead, one or two people in and out quick at most, music was pretty loud but nothing crazy 2) Service was subpar, worker sees me walk in and stares at me expecting to maybe acknowledge his presence instead of the other way around lol first time going here, didn't get any type of welcoming 3) Food was eh. The fries are frozen fries just thrown in a fryer, nothing fresh. I also ordered the beef shawarma wrap...don't bother. Almost ZERO flavor. Turns out they precook all the meat on the shawarma rotating cookers (forgot their name) and afterwards they put it into bins and put it in the fridge. When you order, they will take it out reheat it and serve which is a surprise because they have more than enough time on their hands to serve freshly cooked food since the business is so dead on a Sunday afternoon but then again now I know why it was so dead. I won't be returning. Also the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because even though they are serving trash at least they are giving big portions of said trash to fill you. If you're starving and you have no food at your house and every fast food joint is closed this place is ok I guess lol Also the very first review posted for this place is such a paid ad lmaoo literally complete opposite in every way. My son was craving shawarma so I chose this spot because of their ratings. The place was very clean and I liked how it was bright and very open! My son had already ordered and paid. I wanted a drink and paid cash. The gentleman preparing/cooking our meal was also the cashier. He accepted my cash (wearing gloves already) and placed in the register. He then proceeded to pick up a cucumber wearing the same gloves that he handled money with!!! I was fuckin appalled!!! I was like, " You better change your gloves!! You just touched money!!" Wtf!! How gross!!! Jayson and I discussed how even though the pandemic was a clear eye opener on how poor hygiene was another factor in invading someone's personal space! He was truly doing so, and I had to put on the brakes real quick!! The cook/cashier continued to complete our order. He was probably pissed off, but this is my food you're preparing and I would expect you to prepare my meal as you'd prepare your own! So I got the small beef shawarma plate. You have to specify if you want rice or fries. Later on I remembered to ask for fries, otherwise they'll give you rice. I gave that up for lent. The plate was much larger than expected! The cucumber salad was delicious. The hummus was good, but a little grainy. Perhaps it needed to be puréed a bit more. The shawarma was so soft and tasty, but the sauces were on point!! Both the garlic sauce and house sauce complimented each other! Fire I would have loved to have given 5 stars But well, you know! read more

Unfortunately, I experienced a mild case of food poisoning here and my stomach was having issues, after purchasing a large chicken shawarma wrap for $17.63. There was something off with the "soft" chicken texture. Even seeing it at the kitchen the texture didn't look right, almost rubbery looking. Should have followed my instinct and walked away. But I wanted to support a new independent business and ordered my wrap to go. My first and last time. read more

Hands down the best shawarma spot I've had around here got the beef. It's a pretty basic space but the food is not basic at all. Service is fine- but you are hitting this place up for the shawarma not it's facilities (no restrooms) and there's 1 person at the location so there's so much service he can provide other than creating this awesome dish and providing you with the food - the 12 inch wrap is massive. We came for lunch because we were specifically craving Shawarma. The food was delicious, the place was clean, the employees were nice. The portions are big and the quality of food is good ! My chicken shawarma was juicy and the combination of ingredients reminded me of the authentic shawarma that we ate in our childhood. We paid 40$ for 1 small shawarma (which was really large), 1 big one ( comes with 2 big pieces enough for 2 people to share) and bottled coke. I asked the staff to exclude onions and they properly did. In short, this is the new gem and deserves 10 out of 10. Definitely will come back ! P.S. they need to get an ice machine maker. Otherwise can't think about any cons. read more

I hate to criticize, but if the menu says Chicken shawarma has only tomatoes, pickles, onion cabbage. I asked 3 times for no green cabbage in my sandwiches and paid $38 for the order. Then I see green cucumbers and chopped parsley!! Is that the secret ingredients that you don't mention on the menu but you screw customer's order with !!!!!!!! This is my second time being here and its a confirmed 5/5. Got the 12 inch wrap but it was a lot. If my wife was with me definitely could have got us both full. They definitely fill the wrap and don't go cheap with the meat. The place is spotless. There's the house sauce on each table, unlike most places these days that charge extra. Food was delicious. Great quality beef. First time here, I had the chicken and that didn't disappoint either. Definitely will be coming back a lot. read more

Tried this place randomly based on the positive reviews. It was good! I appreciate that there are shawarma size options and a variety of meats to choose from. I found my chicken shawarma to be flavorful and full of meats. The prices are a bit high though. Especially the price of the side sauces, that's unreasonable and deterring. The restaurant has a beautiful and romantic atmosphere, with hybrid indoor/outdoor courtyard dining. Our waiter was attentive and made us feel very welcomed. Too much unworthy food! Pictures and reviews from others suggested it would be good, but nope! I've ate at lots of other restaurants of similar, and nothing is like this, rather bland and uneventful. The chicken shish kebab was dry, and not much flavor. The pork ribs were decent. The ribeye steak was not the best. Considering that they state they use Harris Ranch, man I expected a great steak! Uneven cook on it too. I ordered a side onion, wth did they give me, a burnt onion?! Their sumac onions were not made right! Throwing some seasoning on some onions does not make it sumac onions! Things that were right? The roasted tomato, the roasted jalapeño. Possibly the hummus, as I quite liked the consistency and flavor. Wished the food was better. I don't understand their rating. Located right next to the popular and famous Paradise Bakery too.

It lacked the toasty, chewy texture that makes pita so comforting and effective for scooping up dips and bites. Another low point was that our rice was barely warm, almost cold. Not good. The worst part of our meal had to be the hummus. It was almost frozen and tasted as if it was just scooped out of the freezer. Terribly disappointing.
