George started us on an appetizer he recommended called Grilled Spanish octopus. It was the best octopus I ever tasted full of delicious flavors. He paired that with a white Greek wine called Gavalas Assyrtiko Santorini. This wine opened with a beautiful bouquet of stone fruit that paired perfectly with spices of the octopus and was also delicious on its own. For the entree , George recommended the Moussaka eggplant and the pastitsio that is layered with pasta, sirloin , and bechamel sauce. Both were delicious. George recommended Naoussa Xinomavro red wine. It was delicious. The meals at this restaurant fit my diet to a tee. Grilled chicken, basmati rice, a crispy salad, pita and hummus are all delicious and in line with my dietary needs and weight loss goals. To that end, I have been able to lose 27 lbs before surgery and another 11 lbs afterwards. Dining at Seasoning Alley has always been a pleasant time for us. The staff is extremely friendly and that is attributed to their owner, Jack, who is there often to greet customers and help in the kitchen with food preparation.
