I made a reservation with them and decided to go with someone else, so I called to cancel my reservation. Under there cancellation policy it states that you have the right to cancel within 24 hours of your shipment and you will be charged for a deposit IF the shipment as been assigned a driver. Well when I called to cancel the owner yelled at me and told me I couldn't cancel and that they were going to charge me 100 dollars for wasting his time and continued to scream at me. This is a company that you need to STAY AWAY FROM. Without authorization they charged our card although we emailed and called them telling them we were paying with another card. We received no call or communication. The sales person had horrible skills to take care of our transport. We will be looking for other companies to move our product. Stay away! I wish we could give less than one star. Poor customer service. GlobalTranz will quote you a reasonable price and then charge you double the price when you receive the invoice. Also they don't respond or care about your claims. We had two claims regarding damaged shipments that were never resolved. In addition, they will report you to their collections department if you try to dispute what was quoted. With their corrupt business model, I am surprised they are still in business. Don't ever use this company, there are plenty of good Freight Brokers out there. read more

Used this company for a few months. Worst experience of my life. 1. Freight quotes rarely ever matched the final Billing. 2. Every time we called for assistance with Tracking, Freight damage, Billing questions no one answered the phone and some times up to a week for them to call or email back. 3. In our short time we got cycled through 3 different reps. We were told they do that sometimes. Later found out two of our reps. had quit the Company. 4. We asked for our Bill to come weekly all on one statement. They said they would comply but never did. With our 25 + shipments a week we got one email for each shipment...billing and financial work nightmare here. Terrible... 5. Freight claim was filled out, received and accepted, confirmed. We never received the credit for it. Do your Homework, this Company does not have a good record. Also do your Company a Favor and Use Unishippers folks. I'll never use another Broker again. The guy I was trying to do business with twice put the phone down on me stating " I have to go now" and when we got into discussions about the rate-he said "go somewhere else" I have never in all my years in the transportation industry,come across a person of this lowly calibre. I was contacted by Jesus Silva to transport my vehicle, he underbid all the other transportation quotes, immediately sent me a contract to sign, then days later, he sent me a text message, not the professional courtesy of a phone call, but a text message that read "Ma'am, I hope you are well, I have to tell you, I received a reprimand and almost got fired for giving too cheap a price for your vehicle, I am really sorry, but we were able to talk to my drivers and we were able to reach an agreement of 850$ with all our services since your vehicle is a pick-up, pleaseconfirm me if you accept to go and pick it up." That's almost DOUBLE the initial quote and higher than the prior company I was considering! This appears to be in an attempt to back customers into a corner forcing them to use their services. I explained to Mr. Silva that I would not be scheduling with Global Tranz due to the compromising position the representatives of Global Tranz has put me in tasking me to secure another transportion service at the last minute. He responded "Ma'am I apologize in advance, as I said it was my fault for giving you such a low price and I received a reprimand, and that is more than enough." Seemingly, providing a quality customer experience is of NO importance to the representatives of Global Tranz, its a miracle they're still in business. READ the reviews, then look at the common denominator.....GLOBAL TRANZ, everyone can't misrepresenting their experience with this company.. This company is highly unprofessional, and untrustworthy, and their bottom line is money NOT their Customers, and they don't mind misrepresenting information and inconveniencing the customer to get it!!! Trust Global Tranz at your own risk! This company should cease offering transportation services to consumers if they're customer ratings are so poor, and of absolutely no importance to them, without improving... This company was the most reasonable quote, but using them was definitely a mistake. Our merchandise was picked up 11 days ago to be delivered to Los Angeles. We were quoted a 5 day delivery time, but as of yesterday, our shipment is stuck in Chicago. No sense of urgency with them. We can't get anyone to pick up the phone or email us back. We have been shipping to Canada with globaltranz since 2013, and today we just got fed up with their customer support. "Supposed account reps." who are in charge of our account do not reply in proper time and manner, they transfer our account to another rep. saying that the last rep was sent somewhere "else or fired" and that he/she is the new rep who will assist us, but ironically does exactly the same thing that the previous rep. did. "neglect his customer". This has come to a point where it is beyond ridiculous. We have a shipment that was sent to Canada(we are located in California, USA), while it was being transported by globaltranz the product got damaged, so as any customer would do, they denied the product since it was damaged, and now it is on its way back to our facility located in the California. The product is now stuck at Canada/US customs border, because globaltranz somehow scheduled the damaged freight under invisible BOL that nobody can find, and later on find out that there was no actual paperwork done for the product and it was picked up miraculously according to them. Now they want us to fill out paperwork for the damaged product and all the other things we pay globaltranz to use their service... we never had this much trouble shipping products with other freight forwarders.. this is just ridiculous.. read more
