Really, really good shipping center. Been using them for years and I love working with them. Provides better rates than Unishippers and quicker quotes. Just like one reviewer said - trucking companies do make mistakes, but it's these guys who help us get it resolved. I'd rather go with a shipping center than the actual trucking company. Really horrible service, Filing claim for almost a month, system will not show your status, and the customer service will not answer you. We Buy insurance but you never get taking care of us! Worst of the worst. I am the Carrier and we completed many loads for Globaltranz without any issues until recently I got in hold of Adam Dubberke who is a freight broker for Globaltranz. He cut our rate 50% for no reason at all and now we are trying to get in hold of him for last 2 months or his manager without any luck. Do yourself a favor and avoid this freight broker. read more

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY or you will regret the decision. They will send you every invoice from the freight company (upcharged of course) even when they know it is not valid. If you ask them to dispute a charge, most often they will not put it thought. If you call to ask for disposition, you are ignored. If you file your own claim for damaged goods and the freight company (in the unlikely event) pays the broker for the damages, you will NEVER see that money. This is because they apply it to your open invoices EVEN IF THEY ARE IN DISPUTE. These guys are out for your money. Don't expect to see a dime from disputes and expect to receive unexpected add-on invoices months after a shipment is closed. read more

AWFUL. Their service is subpar, and their invoicing team is clueless. They don't apply the payments to the right invoices (or at all) and they won't respond to any of my emails asking to clear it up - they just keep sending statements every month showing a balance that we've already paid. They even sent us a random refund cheque, after sending these statements showing that they think we owe them money. I wish we had read the recent carrier reviews before doing business with GlobalTranz. They DONT pay their carriers. They DONT respond to emails, they DONT respond to voicemail messages. They refuse to provide a payment date. We shipped a car with them. They told us that the total would be $530.00. We had to pay $100.00 by credit card and then the balance to the driver in cash when they delivered. They had a child call us to tell us that they arrived 1 day earlier than agreed to. Then they were late on delivery. I paid driver cash on delivery ($430.00). A couple of days later, they took another $100.00 out of the account. I called and called they said they would reimburse us. Days went by and I had to call again. They did not refund the $100.00 they only refunded $85.00. I had to take the lost. I will never use this company again. I have tried speaking to the AP Team with little to no help. We have 14 invoices that are aging beyond net 30 totaling $50,750.00. 13 of which are aging 50-61 days as of today 1/31/23. This is absolutely unacceptable, and we need payment status ASAP. All our invoices are automatically billed through our TMS Mcleod to multiple Global Tranz accounting emails. ALL our invoices automatically have our factoring release letters, UCC Fillings, and billing information attached. And yes, they are emailed to the correct email address. They are auto-emailed to: tlinvoices@globaltranz.com, aptlrequests@globaltranz.com, and AshleyL@globaltranz.com. Invoices, rate cons, bols, supporting docs etc are all submitted in REAL TIME upon delivery to every brokerage due to our advanced technology and software. Bottom line, Global Tranz is breaking their contract of NOT paying invoices "30 days from the date of receipt of invoice, rate confirmation, proof of delivery" per your rate confirmation And my AR specialist has been attempting to follow up with Global Tranz to no avail. This is inexcusable. The AP Team does not respond to emails nor does anyone pick up the phone over there. HIGHLY recommend finding alternate shipping options. Our products were shipped using them and it's been a disaster. Here's the details: 1) NO update in tracking or shipment for FIVE days. Pallets haven't moved 2) Company does not move shipments over weekends so you have over 3 days delay in any shipment arriving due to that and they do NOT let you know this until the order has shipped. 3) There is no contact, no update, no information or person to speak to regarding any shipments. Julio Rabago has been very professional, punctual with setting up freight shipments and took care of any issues if something came up. Awful! Signed 3 contracts for 3 separate vehicles to be picked up. Transporter confirmed on Friday that drivers were on their way for all 3, and that they'd all be picked up that day. Now, that contact is not returning any calls, the vehicles were not picked up, and I have late fees from the auction. Got a hold of his "supervisor," who tried to make me pay hundreds more per vehicle to send different drivers, said he doesn't care what the price we agreed to on the contract was, and he doesn't care about the late fees. They called the day before and said the shipment was delayed - I got it things happen. Rescheduled for 1/27 in the morning. I paid extra to have my item delivered to my front door. All the paperwork the driver had stated to deliver to front door. Even the item had it printed on the packaging. The driver refused saying that it required two men. He called the office and they blamed it on me saying they didn't know there were stairs. I said you should have asked if that makes a difference. These guys hired a homeless person with a rental truck to deliver my product worth over $5000. The driver ended up destroying much of the product after getting frustrated at the consignee. He then drove off with the product on his truck, and he has not been heard from to this day (this was 6 months ago at the time of writing). We have used GlobalTranz on many occasions to ship our LTL Freight Shipments. On numerous occasions, the items arrived damaged. The first shipment we sent dozens of pictures of the damage. They put us off and put us off on the claim to over a year. Our customer disposed of the damaged item and they conveniently said that the carrier wanted to see it. Over a year really? They take your money for the freight and insurance then look to stall to pay claims on items clearly damaged. Another shipment, we were asked to get a on letterhead from the manufacturer that the item could NOT be fixed had to be replaced. Again their claims department is putting us off. Anything to avoid covering the freight. We followed all the rules and reported all damages immediately. Avoid this company at all costs. read more

NEVER AGAIN WITH THIS BROKER. I booked load with Nathan Wible, load was from Danville, IL to West Branch, IA. When i booked load, broker said delivery is for next day at 6 AM. My RC said same, delivery appointment 6 AM. When my driver get there at 5:30 AM, receiver said that we are not in system and broker didn't make appointment for delivery. So, Yes GlobalTranz has had some mistakes in the past but as someone who was both a customer and has worked for them (and just quit from a better job opportunity - no longer employed nor receiving any benefit from this) I am seeing great changes within both the management and culture of this company. They have gutted entire departments and are starting to invest serious cash internally in finding great talent. This is starting to reflect in the overall product of the company. I was there when they weren't so good and have seen changes first hand. Changes that probably should have happened years ago, but are happening nonetheless. I'd recommend you all to at least give them another shot in the near future. These ladies and gents truly care about their craft and are improving by the day. While GTZ has made ample mistakes I think they have learned and are positioning themselves to do great things. If you had a bad experience in the past just reach out and let them know! They gave us a quote, once we gave them exact weight, and measurements. Once the pallets arrived, we signed for them, and that was it. Then the bill comes 2 weeks later, and they added an additional $200+ to our bill of just $427. They now claim something about a different class for our merchandise, class 150, yet we have shipped the same boxes, from other shippers for 13 years at class 100. This re-class lets them charge us more. We told them the dimensions and weight before we shipped, so they could have told us a popper price ahead of time. Another rip off company. I operate a small manufacturing company and have been using a guy named Jeff from Globaltranz for several years and have given him multiple chances to listen to what my needs were through sending accurate information by email of our need he still seemed to botch any bill of lading that we would send only to say after being charged for these extras of his mistake that he would gladly refund them and did on a few but they would just keep coming. It's it's a barrage of extras to try to get you to not care and just roll with these extra charges. I have since gone with InXpress and they have professional team the documents everything they will put a person between you and the freight company to avoid your account getting hit with erroneous charges global trans doesn't even send you an email when your product has been delivered successfully do yourself a huge favor and avoid this company at all costs. Stay away!!! Unreliable! Lost part of my shipment. One full pallet of product. Freight broker said" I'm not the carrier" Not my responsibility! I did everything I was supposed to do! True, you are not the carrier, but you share the responsibility. Once the broker facilitates the shipment, the broker has a contractual obligation to ensure the freight gets delivered- ON TIME- not 11 days later. And calling the carrier and asking them to find the pallet is really your job. And finding a pallet should not take that long. The entire distance is about 600 miles. Not a cross country trip with lots of terminal changes. And by the way, they charged me full price for the delayed shipment. read more
