    Tell me why I would pay you $22 for a box!?!?!?

    I absolutely would not recommend going to this particular UPS store. They have become more and more difficult to deal with. Today the woman told me I needed to buy a $22 box in order to send back a pre-authorized Amazon shipment. She is completely unaware of how Amazon works, and should not be dealing with customers. Such an incredibly frustrating experience trying to simply send back a package. I took it to another UPS store and they immediately processed it with no problems and with no attempt to sell me a $22 box. I can't believe the way she try to rip me off. If you need to use a UPS store, there are a lot of them around, but absolutely avoid this one like the plague. They will try to rip you off and try to tell you things that you simply do not need. Edit after Manager Reply: Store owner just doesn't get it. His clerk tried to charge me $22 for a single cardboard box. In what universe is that anything other than a complete ripoff? The other UPS store handled the return professionally. I didn't even mention the incredibly negative experience at this location. The other UPS staff were properly trained, and knew how to handle a typical return. Avoid this location and their overpriced products.

    Awful customer service from the employee today. I should not be laughed at because I didn't know…read morethe Happy Returns should be scanned at the counter.

    Great place to drop off packages. Not great for other business services. I used their fax services…read moreonce and twice had paper cutting. All three times required multiple visits and phone calls to get these small tasks done. The last incident was today. It took me three visits over a two-day period and four phone calls (none of which were answered) to get two cuts on a stack of 55 sheets of vellum. Apparently no one but the manager knows how to use the machine, so if he gets called away it won't get done until you check in on the status (which you can't do by phone because staff won't answer most of the time.) No one on the staff notified me of the delay (they had my cell phone and I told them they could text or call); the woman I talked to the second visit didn't even know about the task. It was just sitting there on the back counter for five hours. I wouldn't complain on a public forum like this except that I had a brief conversation with the manager, Mason on the third visit. It was clear that he didn't care about my multiple experiences so I don't think things will change anytime soon. He suggested that "I call ahead of time" which again, won't work if no one answers the phone. Bottom line: the staff is nice and try to be helpful but they are not trained to provide anything more than basic package care. So I'll still drop off my packages here but will go elsewhere if I need anything else. Which is a shame because I live close by.
