Bikes have become quite expensive over the years , the average good bike being from 500 to 1000 dollars! So mine are here to stay. Will bring them back again if anything needs to be done. It is really great to see people doing great things for the community. This organization works to…read moreraise money by repairing and selling bikes. They also give bikes to children through local agencies and businesses. I've purchased a few bikes from them in the past and been quite happy. The staff are friendly. Their is a noticeable difference in knowledge between the trainers and the trainees. What I noticed this trip was that a lot of the bikes seemed overpriced. For instance, there was a used bike for $120 that I could buy new at Walmart for $140 (plus tax). I don't know what changed but it didn't feel like a good deal to buy a bike there any longer. Perhaps the Bike Swap is a good option.

I'm a frequent shopper.. Purchased some Hoka's back in November- but one side started ripping - so I returned and purchased another On shoes.. Surprisingly they did not fit.. (yet I have four pairs that are the same size and fit).. go figure- Returned them and started browsing in store.. Just my luck- found a nice On pair- I like these because it's really not messy on the upper.. Noticed an email on the Rei app about the new On Cloudsurfer 2 trail running-.. Plenty of private parking. Service - Mostly self service. The shoe salesperson, the only person helping 10 people, did a good job. There were 4 people working in the bike area, and no one acknowledged me?!?! And these bikes go for like $7k. I am not sure I want an e-bike yet; I just want to stay as young and long as possible. Very friendly salesperson. Price - $150 ish. Good deal for the quality of boot I got. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1938! I like the COOP concept and $30 lifetime membership model. They were a solid pair from a road bicycle that appear to have a sealed bearing, which is quality for certain. He also gave me some tips for a long bike tour that I was about to undertake. He was very honest and candid with me and didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need, even though I asked him specifically what he would recommend to me. He mentioned the shop is largely for the community and is a charity of sorts. When I was there they had an open bike repair center - where you are free to use the tools they have to fix your bicycle. There were a number of children there taking advantage of this free service offered. A great place to stop by if you are on a tour and could use some parts/components cheap, need to use the tools or gain some insight from the workers there.

This is up where Bonanza is and I live down in South Reno. Silly me, I know. Results, they didn't call me when they have finished. I had to call them and it was nearly late afternoon when I had dropped it off early because they said they can finish it early. My stepson was eager to get his bike back. All I wanted was to be informed that it was done, that's all. Pricing itself was pretty fair. They changed his tires into a dirt tire which was awesome so now he has hybrid tires! Even tough it's a kid bike, labor counts so Thankyou for the awesome job! The owner is really friendly and his staffs too. (During this time, all wore their masks. That's always a plus.)

I changed my tire and the store guys were super friendly and helpful. They let me use their air pump to pump up my tire vs my hand pump. Saved me 15 mins and hand cramps. They had a big selection of e-bikes and I have been interested in trying them out on some trails. When I do decide on an e-bike or even to rent, I'll come by this shop mainly because of how friendly they were!

I spoke to Ryan over the phone, explained to him the situation and he asked me to bring the scooter in and I did. They are in downtown Reno in the old Post office on Virginia Street and are easy to reach. Dropped my scooter off and a week later called them again and they let me know it would be ready by Thursday, and it was. The reason I'm giving them a 4-star rating instead of 5 is because I specifically asked them to order and install HONEYCOMB Tires, which are stronger and more shock absorbent than standard scooter tires. A week later I found out that they ordered regular tires. Sure, the tires they ordered are nice and highly rated and work great, but it wasn't exactly what I asked for, it is important to listen to customers. Still, they fixed the flat tire and that is the important thing so I recommend them for people that own bikes or electric scooters in Reno and want to get them repaired.

The assist was sporadic and I had clicking sounds that seemed to come from the motor area. Randy had the bike in his shop several times and each time the problems went away for awhile but returned. The bike was in the shop 4 times and I was never charged. Most recently I went in and was ready to pay to replace the motor (approximately $1,000) but Randy said he'd look it over again. He found that the wiring to the motor was frayed and was contributing to the clicking noise that kept coming back. He charged me $50 for the part but wouldn't accept anything for his labor. The bike is perfect now and I was able to ride it on a challenging trail where dirt bikes usually go. Talk about great customer service!!!

It's so big I'm not sure I've ever even been through the whole thing. Upon entering on either side they have big fish tanks that our kids love looking at, and then of course they have the massive Ferris wheel. The cost is $1 per rider which is more than fair, but in my experience they will often just give you the tokens to ride for free. The store itself is a bit pricey. But there's a variety here that you won't get many other places. So you're almost certain to find something.

It's a huge sports shop located at Legends and there's an incredible amount of stuff to see and shop for. Whether you're into outdoor gear, sports equipment, apparel, or just browsing, there are so many options that it's hard not to find something you like. What really makes it stand out is how much there is to look at even if you're not buying anything. It's a great place to walk around with the family, check things out, and spend some time together. Clean, well organized, and packed with quality sporting goods. Definitely one of the best retail spots in the area.
