We returned to Eagle Crest on an Interval International exchange using our Kona Coast Resort unit. Eagle Crest is a large project and it's a little confusing about which projects are managed by what company, so I am specifically reviewing the Worldmark Resort property and should not be applied to any other hotels or resorts at Eagle Crest. We have stayed at several Worldmark properties in the past, and this is our definite favorite. First off we were able to fly directly into Redmond from SFO, avoiding a two drive from Portland as that's how we came last time. The airport is small but that's a plus as far as we were concerned, and our Costco rental car from Budget was fine. Our check in was easy and Kiyah was a great rep for Worldmark. We got a text from her a few minutes after we were in the unit asking how things were, and that was a nice touch. The 2 bedroom 2 bath unit was perfect. We own two vacation rentals and live in Kona and are appreciative of a job well done. Everything was immaculate, and it seemed like it had been recently updated. I had called the week before, asking for a unit on the Deschutes river side, and we happily had an end unit with a great view. The gal I spoke with was friendly and let me know that checkin had moved so I had a google map address which made it easy to find. The kitchen had everything one could ask for and more. The dishwasher was the only appliance that needs retirement lol. The bedroom with attached bath and a work desk was excellent. It was relaxing to take a long hot bath in a huge tub after a long flight. We used the Weber grill on the patio three times during the week we were there. The Sisters meat market in Redmond is well worth a visit. One word of warning for people that have problems with stairs: this is a multi floor unit. You enter at one level and go down a flight of stairs to the living room and kitchen and one bedroom with two twins. From the entry you go up a flight to the main bedroom with huge bath/shower and king bed. So there are lots of stairs if you are going up and down from the living room (which is so cozy with the gas fireplace) up to the main bedroom. I'd find someplace else that had less stairs if that's a criteria. I'm typing this as I use the fast 500 mbps (ookala speedtest) internet and we are streaming from our ipad all of our regular addictions. My one complaint, and it is a major one, is the horrible cheap mattresses. There were far too firm, and terrible for both of our backs, resulting in back and neck aches. Perhaps they'd sourced them from a cheap manufacturer, but saving money on mattresses is foolish especially these days when you are judged on how comfortable a nights sleep is. We managed to survive by taking the comforters from the twins and placing them across the king mattress where our hips and shoulders were aching and then got a couple more blankets from housekeeping. It helped, but not enough. We fortunately were staying in an airbnb the following week with a fantastic mattress and the contrast was stunning. I complained about this on our last visit, hopefully with the management change that happened in the summer they will allocate funds to refresh a crucial part of the guest experience, a restful nights sleep. Again, this is a Worldmark exchange and should not be confused with any other property at Eagle Crest. Interval International exchanges have different rules and costs and things like internet access are included. Your experience without being an II member or Worldmark owner may be very different. We exchanged a week in a beautiful timeshare in Kona to stay here and were quite happy. For us, this is one of our favorites and we will definitely be back. Mahalo. read more

Arrived to phones in the unit not working, repeated trips to the lobby to get Key cards that worked....then AC failed on the first day...not able to move to working unit so endured portable AC units in the living room and upstairs suite (which blocked door to bathroom) for the remainder of the week. Having stayed here for business this was a little disappointing but for a relaxing time it could be a decent getaway. There is no free wifi on the property which cuts down on productivity required for a work location. Considering this was booked through my corporate travel department I expected good internet for business. I was able to use a hot spot but just something to consider. The view over the gift course and sunrise were nice this morning. Rooms are spacious and clean and could be very cost effective if you wanted to cook for yourself as full kitchens are lovely. I would prefer a better brand of coffee than Folgers but again if you were on vacation there is a full coffee set up and you could bring your own. The ice machine in the refrigerator took some getting used to. It made weird noises and I had to look a few times to figure out what that was. The bed was comfortable and the fireplace added solid warmth and ambiance. Front desk is not 24 hour so it was a little strange check in process and sits separate from the main resort check in. But staff was friendly and property is easy to navigate. Pool closes at 8pm, just kind of prepare for odd hours - not a typical hotel. read more

This is my home away from home in Central Oregon. My experience is based on staying in a private home at the resort, four to five times a year. Positives: *** Location - One of the closer resorts for those making the quick trip out from Portland (Sunriver adds another 45 min. to your drive). Close to the quaint town of Sisters (20 minutes), Redmond (which continues to grow and add new businesses and restaurants) and about 30 minutes from Bend. *** Mix of accommodations - Private homes, rental homes/condos (I'll be trying a new property in May) and a hotel *** Golf - three 18 hole golf courses with one open year round. I especially love the views from the Challenge course, which is a decent mid-range course. They also have the best 18 hole putting course I have ever seen in my life. It actually is a miniature version of a real course with hills and is a blast to play. *** Swimming - four pools (one outdoor pool down by the old resort, one indoor pool open year round (lap swimming), one hotel pool and the newest outdoor pool w/spray ground in the Creekside area. *** Spa - I've gotten some really good massages here on my trips. *** Biking - fantastic bike trails for miles all around this property. *** Activities - Very family focused with a mix of free and charged activities. Negatives: *** Accommodations - this isn't a 5 star resort, so there are other options if you want to go the fancy/schmancy route. I haven't stayed at the hotel, so I can't comment on that property. Part of the resort is dedicated to senior living. That being said, I always see lots of families at Eagle Crest as well. This wouldn't be my first choice for a romantic weekend with my spouse. *** Location - Redmond isn't Bend. If you want to stay at a place located close to lots of bars, restaurants and shopping, this will seem remote. Redmond still has more of a pit stop, rather than a "destination" feel, although new things are constantly coming to town. And unfortunately many closures as well. *** Swimming - Outdoor pools are only open during the summer months, so swimming is limited during the rest of the year. *** Golf - I am an infrequent golfer, so since I manage to play these courses reasonably well, it probably isn't the greatest challenge to experienced golfers. *** Spa - I love the massage, but really dislike the beginning and end of the massage experience. You change in the spartan locker room, shared with swimmers and families, so it doesn't have the same bells and whistles as a nice spa. Really too bad since the massage is awesome! *** River - unfortunately no good river access. This is where Sun River has a significant edge. A bummer that I can't put in my kayak or go fishing from this resort. read more

We really enjoy Eagle Crest for our family of four (2 kids, 2 adults). We have stayed both in a 2 bedroom town home and a 1 bedroom suite in the worldmark timeshare hotel. We definitely preferred the town home operated by the resort, but if the hotel is the only available option, don't let that stop you, it worked fine for the family as well. The amenities are great. The deschuttes river trail is beautiful. Swimming and racquetball and other activities make a week go by quickly. The pools are heated and well managed. Take a day trip to bend and another to go skiing on my bachelor, and you've got a relatively inexpensive week long vacation. Bring your bikes or rent some onsite. On our most recent stay at the Worldmark 1 bedroom suite, we spent about $370 for a 7 day stay booked through a third party website (armed forces vacation club). We spent another $20 for internet access for the week, which was well worth it (streaming netflix and hbo without problem to multiple devices). The worldmark room has a nice kitchen, with a convection microwave in lieu of an oven. Plenty of utensils to enable us to eat most of our meals there and save money. The town home also has a well stocked full kitchen suitable for making many meals on your own. There is a large Fred Meyer and Starbucks to stock up 10 minutes away, in Redmond. Stayed in a condo on Redtail Hawk Dr. It so one of the ones that hasn't been remodeled yet which we didn't mind except there have been several things that don't work in our room. The downstairs bathroom door lock doesn't work right, you have to hold the door up and jiggle it to get the lock to latch. The fireplace stopped working and we had to call for repairs. The staff has been very friendly when we have had to call and we appreciate that so much. I do wish the room had been a little cleaner, the tile in the shower has dark spots on the white grout. The kids have enjoyed the resort going on bike rides and playing on the deck. I think with the remodel the units will get better and really make a difference. With the helpful and friendly staff we will try the resort again in the future we will just be sure to ask for a remodeled room. read more

I can't say enough great things about this place! It was beautiful, so very comfortable, everyone was very friendly, and I was able to relax and have a great time with my family! We had a 2 bedroom suite. Our room had a king bed and the other had 2 twins, and the living area had a Murphy bed which was so so comfortable as well. We also had a jacuzzi bath tub in the master room and a walk in shower. The bathroom was giant. I loved it. The only disappointment was the shower head was so difficult to move around. Our bed was so comfortable. I had to make sure the curtains were closed during the day most of the time due to golfers walking by our driving by on their carts, but it wasn't too bad. Our suite had a full kitchen with a stove and dishwasher which was nice. There were dishes and glasses and pots and pans which was so convenient. Another great aspect was having a washing machine and a dryer in our suite. There were 5 of us staying including 3 teenage girls. Best way to stay for sure! I can't wait to come back some time! read more

One of our favorite WorldMark properties. From check in to sales everyone is professional and very friendly. The rooms and grounds are always spotless. Everyone is helpful and has great recommendations for local eats and activities. The seasons here are wonderful. Plenty of outdoor activities to keep you busy. Shopping and antiquing is everywhere. If your into hiking Smith Rock State Park has trails for all abilities. A short drive to Bend for shopping if there is anything you need. In the sales office everyone is incredible in helping you find what level of ownership is best for you. Best education of any resort learning to use your ownership to maximize its benefit. Upon arrival we were informed that our confirmed nonrefundable reservation was canceled and our room was given to another guest due to our late check in - nothing was stated in confirmation email-no phone call or any notice was given about this policy- we were given a room in the basement of the lodge with no towels, toilet paper and minimal outlets that work & no tv- Josh the supervisor at the time seemed to be overwhelmed and said the manager would be in on Sunday - we were given no apology. Our room is for ADA accessibility and is in sad shape for us let alone a person with disabilities. Do not stay here- waste of money read more

I've stayed at the Eagle Crest Resort hotel 6 or 7 times. I discover something new about this huge beautiful, quiet property on each visit (it's at least 2 miles in diameter). I explored it during a morning run along its extensive trail system. The outer-ring of the property is surrounded by several developments of houses, townhouses & condos. The east end butts up against the Deschutes River where there's a wildlife trail and lots of nature - saw two giant owls, many birds & ducks and loads of deer. The hotel sits on the inner ring of the property. It includes one of the 3 swimming pools & hot tubs, bike & movie rentals, a small cafe for breakfast, a tiny selection of snacks and a friendly staff. Worldmark owner suites are on the upper floors. I like waking up to the golf view with the sun rising over The Resort Course. The other 2 swimming pools are located in the two recreational facilities which are about 1/4 mi east & west of the hotel: one has a spa, the other has a tennis court, a weight room, bike rentals and a small store with clothing, snacks & beverages. Niblick & Green's Restaurant & Bar, Silverleaf Cafe and Market steps from the hotel. We usually eat at Niblick's - all our meals have been decent - the bar is good & has big screen TVs - sometimes there's live entertainment. You'd need to drive 5 miles into Redmond to eat elsewhere. There's a shuttle service free to guests of the hotel or $2 for Worldmark owners. I've had massages at the spa twice. One was great, the other so-so. The spa is basic, no frills, but I'll take that over raising resort costs. The resort has 3 amazingly scenic golf courses: The Resort Course has a driving range, pro-shop and mini-cafe. The Ridge and Challenge courses share a driving range, putting green, pro-shop and mini-cafe. They also have a family Putting Course which I haven't tried yet. The Resort Course's second men's tee box is dramatic - the drive is high through narrow & steep terrain, then doglegs sharply to the right. My favorite is The Challenge Course for it's short executive style layout in rolling high-low terrain. The Ridge plays wider and predictable on most holes. All the staff is really nice and very friendly. We forgot a putter and they brought one out to us! The hotel sometimes runs specials that seem to have best value golf and spa packages that I've seen. It's not Sunriver, but that's the beauty of it. ;-) read more

I've been here twice before. Once in late November another time in December. This was a first time for spring and I really LOVED it! The pools were never crowded during my stay & I rarely even saw anyone else on the walking paths. Interesting & fun activities & classes at the sport centers (reasonable class fees too!) The weather was perfect to explore the extensive trail system. Not to be missed are the 2 hiking trails along the Dechutes river. Pack a snack (or a nice bottle of wine to enjoy at one of the picnic tables along the route). It was so peaceful this time of year! Great bird watching, hiking, biking. Don't miss the bicycle scavenger hunt activity. It was a great value at only $10 for 4 hours of bicycling fun! The condo was lovely. Great views of the canyon, nice gas fireplace, big windows, Jacuzzi tub with a view, 2 beautiful decks and one with a BBQ. Fully stocked and comfortable. My week was like a retreat. Don't be afraid to go in the off season. The smell of the juniper from the deck was intoxicating!!! Seriously they should bottle that scent & sell it in the gift shop...just sayin' read more

This was my first stay in the hotel portion of Eagle Crest. We're owners of WorldMark so this review is for that portion of the property. The staff was friendly and inviting. Very helpful in giving recommendations for restaurants to try and things to do. This is an older property but it has been well maintained. We had a one bedroom suite and it was comfortable, clean and quiet. This was perfect for a weekend getaway. Take time to go to Smith Rock and then spend some time down town in the brewery neighborhoods. Good gawd, every other dude has a brewery now! Back to Eagle Crest...I'm sure we'll return. What a lovely getaway! We spent the weekend in the hotel to celebrate my husband's birthday. We played golf on the resort course, challenging enough for my husband and short enough for me to avoid frustration. The rooms have been updated and are lovely. The only complaint was a funky shower configuration. You'd have to see it to understand :) Saturday I visited the Spa and had a lovely facial, we walked the trails around the property and in general, ti was a really nice weekend away! read more

Strangely, they are super cavalier about the stuff that doesn't work at the property and and just offer an "oh well" attitude - bulbs out in our room - not cleaning our room - not knowing how to use the AC - wi-if not working It's not a dump but run like one. read more

We stayed 2 nights here in the Worldmark by Windham suites. They must be nicer than the rest of the resort, because our rooms were great. (Nothing like a Best Western) Our first night we had one of the premium rooms, it was great- 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and breakfast nook. That room wasn't available the next night so we moved to a regular room and it was a bit smaller but also very nice, with a small kitchen, fridge and separate bedroom. The front desk (Worldmark desk, not main lobby) Were very nice, gave us a free movie after our sad honeymoon story and also suggested some places to see. We have made plans to come back. read more

This is my third time staying here at Eagle Crest. We have been here annually for the last three years. The kids love this place, lots of outdoor activities. We come here for the kids, if you are not a kid you will probably not get a chance to enjoy the swimming pools, because of all the kids. They are crowded. That's fine, no one needs to see me in a swim suit anyways. This is not a whiney, "I had to clean my room, here is your one star review." I've stayed at Worldmarks lots of times and that's part of he deal, you have to take out your own garbage, and clean up after yourself. The problem is the beds. They are horrible. I had a problem with them last year and the year before, but I figured since I had lost a bunch of weight and we were staying in an owner room maybe it would be better this time. They are not. It was worse. It wasn't just the fact that the bed was hard and uncomfortable. We came with extended family and ended up with the room with the wall ac unit. Every time the unit kicked on it woke my wife and I up. It was as if the engines of hell were firing up like clockwork every 30 minutes. First night toss and turn all night wake up after 5 hours sleep. Mind you, I travel often for work and frequent motels. I'm not a princess that can only get a good nights sleep on my own mattress. I have a plan. Next night I'll get drunk and pass out. I get a good buzz going, go to sleep. Apparently I didn't drink enough. Go to bed at 11pm, wake up 5am. Back is so sore, I can hardly move. I Jump in the hot tub. All the jets start popping out. I don't think that is normal... The suites are nice and clean spacious, but it would be nice to actually be able to get a decent nights sleep when you are on holiday. Next year, I'll have to bring an air mattress and more alcohol. read more

I've been coming to Eagle Crest pretty much yearly (there have been some gaps here and there) since the mid 1980's. There are all kinds of activities available from the golfer to the relaxer and everywhere in between. I will say that the resort is usually quite full so it's a good idea to reserve activities for the times that you want otherwise you'll either be waiting or finding an alternative. They are good with upkeep on the condos and there is plenty of room to comfortably accommodate 6 people. The location is not far from many Central Oregon attractions; Bend is about 20 minutes away. There you'll find all kinds of outdoor fun. They have ok shopping, tons of breweries and even free music once a week in the Old Mill District. Sisters isn't that far away either. A quaint little town that's great for exploring. I have a soft spot for this town as it's where my grand parents grew up; they even helped name and hang the street signs. All in all it's a great family spot. read more

Went to Eaglecrest with the girls to have a relaxing time away from the city. Our condo 2 balconies that allowed you to overlook the river. The mass room with very large and spacious the guest bedroom was much smaller but still very comfortable kitchen is nice size however several of the utensils for either damaged or broken dining room and living room are very sufficient in size and accommodations. There are hiking trails bikes to rent horses to ride swimming pool and golf all on the resort. during our hike we saw snakes lizards rabbits quail pheasant and a few other birds. The wildlife is very enjoyable to watch. Eaglecrest is very convenient to get to sisters Redmond and band which all have a variety of activities to enjoy and restaurants to feature. I highly suggest Eaglecrest on your next Eastern Oregon adventure. read more

I give the hotel, Property, and amenities a four star. It is much better than a three star but not as fine as a five star. The room is great, recreation is great, service is great, golf was fun, so relaxing. But they need to work on their food service. We ate at all the locations on the property and they lacked something? Probably 2-3 star quality eating, the little cafe in the hotel overall was good, Great breakfasts. Niplicks was good when we had a great server but not good when our service was slow. Coffee place eh! Golf snack shop is a snack shop. But I certainly would go back to the property in a heartbeat. read more

On an impromptu road trip from SoCal we just stop at Starbucks when we tire, do a little research, and book an available room. We actually got lost coming from Bend on a country road 20 and low and behold Eagle Crest appeared to our right when we frantically started reading road signs that appeared. The area is gorgeous. We drove up greeted by a meadow full of horses, which the front desk person said was for show?? Hmm..I wondered. The rate was so cheap, only $117, but that did not include a free breakfast as the other Holiday Inns I've stayed at. The room seemed out of proportion and poorly organized. It was like Alice in Wonderland with the huge oversized entertainment cabinet place in front of one bed in the corner instead of being centrally located in the middle between the two beds. A giant side table between the beds took up the space that would have been reserved for a small side chair and ottoman with a little table as other hotels. So the only other place to sit was at the tiny desk. Then suddenly there was this torchiere floor lamp in the middle of all this next to a tiny trash can. Great size refrigerator and no microwave. I don't use microwaves, but I'm sure some people find it handy. The flat screen picture display that was narrow, not stretched out to the ends. We couldn't figure it out and the technician wasn't around so we were just able to get it a little bit bigger. A long mirror for an 8 foot tall person was just oddly stuck on the wall between the tiny work desk. and door to the adjoining room. I like the coffee pots that brew into a regular pot, not, little cups one at a time since I put my coffee in a large mug. Also I use it to heat up water for my 16 oz tea, but this time I had to heat the water in two sessions since it only heat up water for one small cup. The fan didn't work in the bathroom and the bathroom vanity was very small, no room to put your stuff on. There was indeed room to put a wall to wall vanity as other hotels and ample space to move the toilet closer to the tub. No explanation to get on the internet upon check in. Was not obvious how to do it so we had to call the front desk. A nice young man quickly came to the room and fixed it. The beds were very comfortable and I slept like a baby at least. They offered a selection of firm and soft pillows. There is a nice Niblick restaurant next to the hotel with very reasonable prices and surprisingly good food. Very good service and nice atmosphere. Great salmon and hazelnut encrusted chicken. Good bread and ample very fresh tasting dinner salad included. Very friendly staff. Area is beautiful, but the room and decor was actually better at the Holiday Inn at the little town of Klamath Falls we stayed at. read more

Great stay. We had a 1 bedroom at Eagle Ridge booked. Worldmark called about a month before and told us they had to move us as they were doing repairs at the unit. Moved us to the hotel section which isn't our favorite but we still had a fabulous time. Guest laundry is free and was nice as we were camping before hand. read more

We stayed on the third floor with Worldmark. Rooms are modern and fresh and clean. The hallway could use updating, but it was clean. Beautiful acreage. I took a walk every morning. I highly recommend the walk down around the perimeter which borders the Deschutes. Amazingly beautiful and serene! I went by myself and felt safe. I saw lots of deer! The pools are also great. One outdoor, one indoor, and multiple hot tubs. The Worldmark staff were so kind and attentive! When our coffee maker didn't work, the housekeeping manager herself came to the room with a brand new, unopened coffee maker! If you are looking for a classy place to eat, drive 10 minutes into Redmond and eat at the Brickhouse steakhouse. 5 star restaurant. read more

We just got back from our winter vacation and we really enjoyed our stay there. We stayed in the 2bd/2bath unit instead of the Lodge area. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools you need to fix up a meal for the family. It also came with a large Washer/Dryer combo setup which was very convenient for us since we didn't have to pack our suitcases much and just wash our clothes mid-week during our stay. It's basically home away from home. During the winter you may not find a lot to do compared to the summer time, but there are great places to visit nearby (i.e. Bend, Sisters). Fortunately, it snowed during our stay and the kids were able to enjoy the snowfall just outside our townhome. There are two recreation centers on the property and are pretty decent for its age. Indoor swimming pool, basketball, tennis and activities that everyone can enjoy while the weather is in the single digits outside. The only gripe I had with our specific unit was the small living room TV that was the size of my computer monitor. Although, I noticed some units had bigger TV sizes but not like that matters when you're vacation, right? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ We would definitely come back in the summer time as it seems there would be a lot more things to do and explore in Central OR. read more

Buildings are old and need to be updated. The beds are horrible and uncomfortable. The restaurants are overpriced and disappointing. They charge for Wi-Fi, which is so stupid because ever hotel offers it for free but Worldmark makes it member pay extra. Ive been here twice and nothing has changed. The returned from Eagle Crest Resort where we spent a week. Me and my daughter first arrived june 18th and my Grandaughter and her husband joined us mid week...The place was so wonderful and quiet. we enjoyed the surrounding area and from our living quarter we overlooked the golf cource...the weather was great too. all the comforts of home. i'm only giving the eagle crest resort an extra star because our rental condo was new, clean, and quiet. (oh, and the massage at the spa was barely mediocre) this review is mainly based on my experience at the deli on the property that was recommended by the front desk staff. when you walk in, you think, "well this looks like a nice, legit sandwich place. how could one really mess up a sandwich anyway?" turns out -- many ways. i ordered a roast beef sandwich that was supposed to have horseradish sauce and be served on a "french roll," as stated on the menu board. it took close to half an hour for my sandwich and my husband's sandwich to be served. when a sweaty and hurried man put my sandwich in front of me, it appeared as if my bread had been dredged in horseradish sauce... and then thrown in the water for good measure. i asked for new bread and was given a couple slices of sourdough. i moved all the innards of my sandwich over to the new bread and started to eat. halfway through my sandwich, i bit down on something hard and pointy. i proceed to pull out a broken TOOTHPICK out of my mouth. immediately i thought, how stupid, i must have forgotten to pull the toothpick out of my sandwich... only to look down and see two intact, full toothpicks sitting on my plate. so where did this broken toothpick come from? i shudder to even wonder. they refunded me my money after trying to call the restaurant manager to no avail. if you are a restaurant located at a resort, i would hope you would be a little more careful and have pretty amazing food. read more

Pretty sad this isn't the place I remember. I am right now watching my husband vaccum our room and I just finished cleaning the bathroom in the room, this is because room service never came... Even after we called them this morning to make sure they would come because we spilled a box of crackers in the bed and all over the floor. The bathroom was just dirty cause we used it and it needed to be cleaned. We are about to change our linens out. Not that we mind cleaning up after ourselves... But we are on vacation and paying for this room and the service that comes with it. On top of that, as we are cleaning this room we are seeing all of the locations that obviously went uncleaned, needless to say we are pretty grossed out and ticked off. The one star is because we loved having access to the rec center and the overall property was nice, but because we are cleaning our room, which hadn't been cleaned properly in the first place and were given no offer for assistance when stating our room hadnt been serviced, we will NEVER return. Which is sad because I came here all the time with my family when I was a kid and was really looking forward to my return , hoping that the integrity of the resort had been maintained and it hasn't. read more

We stayed here 12/26-12/29 2013. After driving from California 8 hours, we arrived around 7pm. Check-in was quick and the young man was nice, but no explanation for internet, pool hours, pretty much anything about the hotel. Maybe they should go over their verbiage. After asking where we could eat, he informed us about the restaurant on-site (sort of) that we had to drive to because it was too cold to walk. The restaurant seemed un-attended, and the staff wasn't very organized. We waited a few minutes before anybody noticed us. Got seated, waitress (looked almost Eskimo) was very nice and helpful about the specials, which we ordered. Great prices, and good food. Would eat there again. The bar next to the restaurant was actually really fun, although the crowd was a much older generation. The barkeep was nice, and actually conversed with us. The drinks were good, very cheap but strong! And they even had carolers which was beautiful. The actual room, which they had given us a King Suite for the same price as Groupon, was very big. Kitchen, living room, bedroom, dressing room, and bathroom. I didn't like that they had a conventional coffee pot, since I only wanted a cup for myself, not ten people. And it takes so long to brew. The kitchen was stocked with plates, cups, silverware, etc. But for what? They don't offer any room service. There was one tiny trash bin in the bathroom, the only one for the entire suite might I add. We were there for 3 nights, and of course we had accumulated trash throughout that time. Trash that was never picked up by housekeeping. I think all they did was make the bed and restock the towels. The shower looked contemporary and new from afar, but the functionality of it was horrendous. In order to turn it on you practically have to get in the shower. Better be naked, otherwise you're soaked with water! The towels felt stiff and crusty, not plush at all. No robes, no slippers; Have fun running to the hot tub in the freezing cold. I believe our room number was 228, and you can hear, and almost see, the people from the parking lot even if the shades are closed. Felt very uncomfortable walking around my room. The hot tub was cold the first two nights we stayed, and finally hot on the third night. We never got a chance to try the pools because they were filled with kids. No free breakfast for you if you're over the age of twelve. Unless, you like paying $15 each person for a simple breakfast. Also, don't bother asking the Front Desk for anything to eat or drink, as they cannot and will not provide this to you. Not even a simple cup of tea. You MUST drive or walk to the restaurant, because the Cafe isn't open past 10am during Winter. It's snowing outside, and you can't provide guests with hot tea?? Ridiculous. Last thing, we received incorrect directions on how to get to the Horse Stables. Sent us on this wild goose chase. Took the exact road the front desk told us to, which ended up being a gate that required a remote for entry. Give better directions and maps, people! The ONLY things I liked were the restaurant, bar, young brunnette at the desk, and young man who checked us in. Other than that, our stay was only good because of the activities we did OUTSIDE of the "Resort". read more

I would say this -- if you're not a golfer, this probably isn't the best place to stay. I was down for a wedding at the resort, and didn't bring my clubs -- so it was a little boring. They have three tiny pools that were crowded with kids, so we skipped that scene. They have bike rentals, although it was in the mid-nineties, so we skipped that also. We rented a "chalet" which was actually quite nice, and cost $250 a night. So, we got some rest, and that was fine. Redmond is about four miles away, and doesn't really have a lot of diversions to offer. I would recommend Sun River in Bend instead. read more

Upon arriving at the resort I was assigned a downstairs unit. Since the front desk was quite a distance away, I tried calling from inside the unit to request to be moved upstairs. Following the directions given, which simply states to touch "0" or call the phone number stated from the unit, but none of the calls were able to get through . I instead made the call to the front desk using my personal phone, and it was answered up by Becky. After realizing my request, the first thing she asked was "have you used anything inside the unit?" I explained to her that I had just walked in and have not touched anything other than the phone. She went on and said: "it's been a while since you checked in", which in actuality was no more than the 10 minutes I had spent on locating the unit due to poor directions provided earlier, "did you use the bathroom or anything like that?" I explained to her once again that I had just walked in since I got lost and went to the opposite side of the resort. When I returned to the front desk for keys of the upstairs unit, Becky asked for the third time "did you use anything in the room?" I informed Becky that I was unable to reach the front desk by dialing "0". She immediately refuted saying "you need to dial the entire phone number instead". I pointed out to her that the resort pocket brochure clearly states "Guest Services is available (they didn't check for grammatical errors) 24 hours a day by touching "0". She was very defensive at that point and insisted that it was my fault for not calling the actual phone number of the front desk in which I did but to no avail. I have been to hundreds of lodging facilities worldwide including more than 55 RCI affiliated properties and not once had encountered someone who is as unprofessional and rude as this person name Becky at the Worldmark Eagle Crest in Redmond Oregon. By the way, this Worldmark property is far less equipped, both inside and out, than the Eagle Crest Resort that is also in this very same location. read more

Have been to dozens of timeshares and no place has as much to do as does Eagles Crest. Will be back as often as I can get it.

Love this resort. We come here every year for a family reunion. There is plenty to do at the resort and in the surrounding areas. Everyone has something that makes them happy. Rooms are great, updated and clean. The staff have been easy to work with. The on-site artist in residence was wonderful and interesting. The surrounding area is fun. We trade in through RCI and have never had a problem. read more

Where do I start? I have been coming to Eaglecrest since 1990 when my folks were owners of a one week time share. My kids were small and now they are in their mid 20's. I am now the owner. For three years in a row I have been extremely disappointed with the accommodations. The hideabed is so bad I want to burn it. My daughter and her significant other are sleeping on a twin bed we are borrowing from the other room! In the other bedroom my son and his significant other are now sharing a twin bed. My husband and I are sleeping upstairs but sleeping we are not. The airconditioning doesn't seem to make it to our room except for the bathroom. It's hotter than hell in our room. I haven't slept for 5 days! We also brought our thick mattress pad to put on the king bed as it's so uncomfortable. The twin beds are as hard as rock!! What are our yearly fees paying for?? How about new comfortable beds; a new hideabed and better airconditioning. Three years of putting up with this! What do I have to do for any changes to be made? We are actually here right now and I can't wait to leave tomorrow! We have complained in the past but nothing has been done. Are we looking forward to next year? What do you think? read more

I asked my wife what she would like for her graduation gift and she said to grab our kid and leave for a few days. Pretty funny. We ended up at Eagle Crest and had a very good time. This resort is very clean, comfortable and just an overall great destination. We will be heading back again this summer. read more

This hotel went through a recent renovation, I was pleased to stay in a brand new remodeled room. Not too happy with the front desk staff. Found them to be not very customer service oriented. I am traveling with a baby and needed a microwave in my room to heat up bottles. Was given the run around several times until I ran into a manager who was more than accommodating to get one installed. The Internet connection is come and go. Overall, I would say its alright, nothing really to rave about or complain about. read more
