This hotel went through a recent renovation, I was pleased to stay in a brand new remodeled room. Not too happy with the front desk staff. Found them to be not very customer service oriented. I am traveling with a baby and needed a microwave in my room to heat up bottles. Was given the run around several times until I ran into a manager who was more than accommodating to get one installed. The Internet connection is come and go. Overall, I would say its alright, nothing really to rave about or complain about. read more

Eagle Crest is one of our favorite places to go unwind. We always rent a vacation rental house. The courses are always manicured and play very nice. They also have tennis courts, gyms, a spa and lots of trails. Another thing I appreciate is, if you leave your clubs or toys at home, they have plenty of spares to use. There is always something to do. Plus the local town has some great restaurants to dine in. read more

I try to stay at Eaglecrest as often as I can. I stay at the 4 Seasons in Kona twice a year and Eaglecrest is my favorite destination even over Hawaii. I am an Oregon all the way! I love the coziness of the rooms, the comfort of the beds, now they have the convenience of having our dogs with us, the golf course, swimming pools, scenery, wonderful staff. When I travel alone I feel very safe in the room. It's a wonderful place that accommodates large families comfortably as well. The drive over from Portland is manageable. read more

Location is Excellent, room was clean and basic. That's about it. For a resort I expected a bit more. Didn't get the government rate as well. That would have been fine if the room was more "resort-y." No free breakfast. Just a little snack bar type restaurant in the lobby. Room heater was set at 69 deg., but when it kicked on it blasted freezing AC, not heat.. so I turned it off. No extra blanket as there was just the one blanket on the bed, so it was kinda cold that night. I gladly filled out the emailed customer satisfaction survey, but get this: It took ten minutes, and only gave you an option of telling what you LIKED about the stay, there was never an option to say what they could improve on! I kept thinking it was coming, and then it was over without an option to go back. SO, no problem, i just went to the website and looked at "contact us" to share the above in an email. The site said "We're looking forward to hearing from you!" Really? no email provided anywere, just some phone numbers that go to recording. So, my option was Yelp. Don't call it a resort if it's not. read more

We stayed here since it's one of the Worldmark locations. This resort was great and had everything we needed. Everyone, even other guests, were super friendly. The rooms were clean and warm. A really good thing considering it was 7 degrees out while we were there. Plenty to do from swimming to hot tubing to exploring to seeing an unexpected Christmas lights show. All right there on the grounds of the resort. There was even more activities, but that's all we got to during our time there. Just means we will have to go back another time. We will for sure stay here in the future. read more

My experience fell short of expectations. We rented a two bedroom two bath town home (7161 Robin Court) on Christmas Day and were initially impressed with the accommodations. The view was very nice and the home was cozy. However, the following has made me seriously rethink if I will ever re-book: 1. The smoke alarm was chirping from the moment we walked in the door. Had to remove the batteries to silence the unit 2. Queen size bed was soft and lumpy and did not afford us a good night's sleep for the two nights of our stay 3. In order to completely flush the toilet in the upstairs bathroom, the handle needed to be held down throughout the process and the tank flapper self-sealed about half the time 4. The fireplace stove leaked smoke in to the living area because the door would not seal properly 5. The bed covers in the downstairs bedroom were stained 6. When I inquired with the front desk about obtaining a WiFi password, I was told to use the "pay as go Eagle Crest WiFi" as there was no password offered for the rental. Only problem was, "Eagle Crest WiFi" was not an option on any available networks listed on my iPhone or other mobile devices. The front desk clerk acted indifferent and did not offer any other options. We notified the front desk of our concerns at checkout and the only response we got was "I'll notify housekeeping". I'll give Eagle Crest another try IF this is an isolated incident and I get to have a conversation with management. I'll also write a follow-up review when/if we have an amazing experience the next time. Management...what say you? read more

Our family has vacationed here (family time share unit) for many many years. I believe this is the first time I've ever Yelped about them. We have loved, loved, loved staying here... so close to the river, and seeing the geese and deer... just feels so very comfortable. I believe our family will continue returning to Eagle Crest for our time share units on a regular basis. I'd like to share more about this stay. A mixup took place with booking an extra condo through Orbitz. Unfortunately Orbitz overpromised accommodations to us and Eagle Crest had to fix their problem. As we were staying for a whole week, I am happy to report that Eagle Crest came through and did as they promised. However, due to Orbitz' problem the first two days were quite uncomfortable. Eagle Crest came through and saved the day... eventually finding for us a unit that was an absolutely amazing place to spend the rest of the week! The grounds are peaceful. The staff has been very understanding, responsive, friendly and helpful. And we highly recommend using Eagle Crest for vacations, family reunions, anything. Nice 1 bedroom suite in the lodge, perfect for our family of three (2 adults, 1 teenager). Clean with comfortable beds and nice view of golf course. Ability to open the windows was a plus. Downside was the slow internet (free but you could never get on it) and the shower-nice to look at but the spray was so light it took ages to get wet and rinse off soap and shampoo. I'm all for water savers but this was ridiculous. Kitchen was well equipped to handle breakfasts and snacks. We had other family staying in a condo elsewhere in the resort so did our main meals there. This was our 2nd visit to the resort and we'll definitely come again because there'so much to do and it's kept up so well. Prefer to stay in the condos or rent a house like we did last time. Lodge is okay in a pinch and in winter but I wouldn't want to do it in mid summer for more than a night or two. read more

My extended family has been coming to Eagle Crest for over two decades. Eagle Crest has a very strict no-pets policy, which we have always been well aware of. This year, we decided to bring our dog since my uncle owns a house in a nearby neighborhood and we could keep our dog there. When we arrived at our condo, we tied our dog up outside on the porch while we unloaded the car. He did not step foot in the condo. About half an hour after arriving at our condo, we took the dog over to my uncle's house and came back. Soon after, there was a knock on the door from an employee, telling us that a co-worker had reported that there were three dogs in our condo. We were adamant about the fact that the dog never went inside, that we knew the rules and that we were well aware that we would be hit with a $500 fine if there were pets in the condo, which there were not. We asked the employee if she would like to look around and check for dogs in the condo, which she declined to do. Then she went on her merry way. We thought we were in the clear, so you can imagine our surprise when we went to check out and were penalized $500 for having pets in the condo. How utterly unprofessional and absurd, especially after the employee acted like all was well when she left our condo after coming to give us a slap on the wrist for something we did not do. I'm extremely disappointed with this service and that Eagle Crest tried to spring a $500 fine on us, despite the fact that we did not break a single rule. I think we'll find somewhere else to stay next year. read more

This is a lovely location and facility. Our room was outstanding, right the on golf course. We a king suite, which had 2 sinks, one outside the bathroom that was great for me to get ready in the morning while hubby was in the shower. The only annoyances (and they were just that, not real problems) was the cell phone service was almost non-existent and the cable TV system was intermittently non-responsive. The price was extremely reasonable for the location and amenities. read more

Beautiful club and very close to town. The picturesque backdrop could not be better! Did not do any golfing, but enjoyed the facilities.

The rooms are very tired. Mine had loose tile in the shower and a hole in the mattress. Closet doors were missing. We turned the three nights into 1 and escpaed to the Hilton Garden Inn in Bend. Minimal decor. read more

View off the deck was great but you shouldn't be able to hear the people above your room walking around, taking showers, or flushing the toilet! Kids were excited to get in the pool... Until they discovered it was loaded with chlorine and not heated. Room was mediocre, especially for a resort setting and the price. read more

Just got back from a trip at Eagle Crest Resort over Labor Day weekend. We stayed in the main hotel and the facility was nice, room clean, and pool/spa very accessible. The property is absolutely massive and "Bend beautiful". There were even horses grazing in the pasture as we drove in. My wife and daughter both took advantage of the horse rides which Eagle Crest offered and were very pleased with the experience. In addition we purchased our package with the breakfast vouchers. They were kind enough to add the Kids Eat Free coupons which meant that our $25 covered all 5 of us. Now the downsides: - They were seemingly understaffed and unprepared for the holiday weekend. On more than one occasion I heard staff comment "well it wasn't this way the last few weekends"... really?! - The night we arrived the shift manager was really unhelpful and not particularly kind. Again, I attribute this to the influx of guests, but a lackluster welcome, no information about the resort, no info on how to access wifi (room has outdated instructions), and a general laissez faire attitude, was not a great way to start the trip. - Sticking with the understaffing theme, the Aerie cafe was a complete disaster. Both mornings it took over an hour to get served and eat. The wait staff was kind, but this was still unacceptable. The food was good, but after waiting an hour for your food it doesn't taste quite the same. - We had a couple of problems in our room just in 2 days we stayed. The main issue was that our TV stopped working the first night. A call to the front desk assured us they would send someone to fix... nope, no one came. We had another issue with the toilet on our 2nd night, but was able to resolve ourselves. read more

This is our 3rd stay at this resort. We have friends who are owners and have been invited by them to spend a week. It's been 2 years since we were there and while the grounds and recreation area's are great, the accomodations need some help. The twin beds in the downstairs bedroom are too small for adults. I felt like I was going to fall out everytime I rolled over. After sharing a bathroom with 3 men for a few day I decided to clean it. There were no cleaning supplies and housekeeping would not bring us any, and to have them clean it would have been an extra charge. Our dishwasher didn't work and after 3 tries, maintenance finally got it going. No housekeeping services are available during your stay, unless you want to pay extra, and while each unit has a washer and dryer, they only provide 6 place mats, 6 napkins, 2 dishtowels, 2 dishcloths, so you are constantly doing laundry. On your last day, you are required to strip all beds and put bedding and towels in the bathtub, and take out all garbage and run the dishwasher. I would never buy into this time share for those reason's. I have stayed in numerous other time share condo's in the US and Mexico and have never had to do all the work...make my bed, yes, but the rest of the above, no. I might as well have stayed home with all the "work" this vacation took. read more

We love Eagle Crest! Amazing staff- Amazing value! You do not have to be wealthy to be treated polity. Staff is helpful and friendly. This is our go to place for sunshine, swimming, just relaxing, especially in the winter when the skies will still be blue in Redmond and the indoor pool and adjacent hot tub are a real treat. The rooms are great, always clean. The grounds are beautiful. We stay 4 times a year for two nights each to visit family. We prefer to stay here because we never have to leave and our grandson can swim and play basketball to his heart's content. We have not done any of the horseback riding but we did enjoy the Christmas horse drawn carriage ride last weekend through the winter wonderland of lights.. The restaurants are affordable and turn out a quality meal. We just LOVE Eagle Crest resort in Redmond!!!! We hope we can always afford to stay at Eagle Crest!!! read more
