It was dark when I got here so here's an after photo but the room was clean and the price was right!

If you are considering a motel 6 I'm going to assume you know this is a 5 star ~for a motel 6~ rating. The room was clean and the rate was great. Love a clean, dog friendly room- I would absolutely stay here again.

Front desk after waiting 35 minutes to check in! Still wasn't checked in !!! Took almost 50 minutes at 1010 pm

Just do yourself a favor , be prepared for the slowest service ever! When you check out be prepared for the most incredibly rude person on earth ( he has red hair and beard) The motel itself must have a fantastic housekeeping staff as it is VERY clean! The rooms are spacious, I just can't get past how long it took to check in and the rude front desk guy at checkout! In my whole life I have never been treated like he treated me ( he literally must hate his job and the company and that he has to work) This motel must not be able to get or keep front desk staff. The computer systems must be installed incorrectly and I can't imagine what a dumpster fire the owner has on their hands.

Hole in the bathroom door of room 326 of Motel 6 in Redmond, OR.

On July 7, 2017, I was the other occupant of room 326 of Motel 6, Redmond, OR -- aka the room with the giant hole in the bathroom door. Frankly, I am shocked and appalled that management considers it acceptable to rent out a room in this condition, particularly with absolutely no warning or offer of compensation beforehand. It shows a complete disregard for the customers by not completing SOME kind of repair, even a shoddy one, before allowing the room to be rented. The replacement door was on order for three months? What on earth were they doing during that time? More importantly, the fact is that we received absolutely no notification ahead of time, or even at check in, that the room lacked a functional bathroom door. Obviously, we would have asked for a different room. Truthfully, though, we may very well have accepted the room anyway if an explanation, an apology and some offer of compensation (10%? 15% discount?) had been offered before or at check in. We received none of those things, even after notifying the front desk. Instead, we were met with excuses: 1) yes we're aware of that already (oh yeah?? Thanks for sharing that info ahead of time!!) 2) you were assigned that room because the reservation was for a single person and we thought you wouldn't mind (complete BS, the printed receipt clearly stated two adults, and how is that okay anyway??) 3) we didn't call you earlier because of training issues (sounds more like management issues!!) If this room cost 40 bucks, I wouldn't be complaining. For 40 dollars, I would expect a complete disaster. However, this was $150. Sure, it's no Four Seasons, but I'd expect a basic level of functionality and customer service at that rate. The room was pretty clean and comfortable otherwise. Shame that the experience was ruined by one god-awful manager not doing her damn job. Bonus: we received a call alerting us that the room below complained about our footsteps. Is the entire motel made out of cardboard?? Can one not even walk about the room and get ready for bed without disturbing someone below?? Good grief.

For a Motel 6 I was shocked at how clean and how the staff was welcoming! Wish they had a breakfast but otherwise an amazing stay!

Easy check in/out, minimal appointed but clean room, free for our 2 dogs, and area for them to go outside. Great for price near Bend.

Five stars doesn't really seem like enough for our experience with SCP Redmond Hotel…read more Our family held a gathering at SCP following my mother-in-law's funeral, and from beginning to end, everything exceeded our expectations. The venue was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the banquet staff and service were exceptional. But what truly set the experience apart was Kym. Two members of our family first walked into SCP the day after losing their mom, simply exploring whether it might be the right place for our family gathering. From that very first meeting, Kym met them exactly where they were emotionally, with a level of kindness, compassion, and understanding that went far beyond her role as an event coordinator. From that first meeting through the final moments of our gathering, Kym handled every detail with genuine care. She took something that could have felt overwhelming during an incredibly difficult week and made it easy for our family. We were able to simply be together, remember someone we loved dearly, share stories, laugh, cry, eat some great food, and not worry about anything else. You can provide a beautiful room. You can serve great food. You can deliver excellent service. SCP did all three. But you can't train someone to care the way Kym cared for our family. We will never forget what she and the entire SCP Redmond team did for us. There will always be a special connection to this place because of how we were treated during one of the most difficult weeks our family has experienced. From our entire family...thank you, Kym, and thank you SCP Redmond. We are deeply grateful.

I reserved 2 queens and I'm pretty sure I got 2 doubles instead…read more I checked in late in the evening and the process was pretty quick. Christian was very helpful and friendly. They are practicing all the Covid recommendations. The room was a good size and had everything you would expect to have in a hotel room. The bed was comfortable and the AC/heat worked well. I didn't notice until morning that the bathroom was dirty and there were some questionable stains on the closet door and the curtains. I reported this to the front desk upon checkout but I doubt anything will be done about it. They are serving a grab and go breakfast consisting of fruit, muffins, coffee, juice, and milk. The hot tub and pool are also open. They were well maintained and clean.

I got good sleep and despite it not being top floor, I had no dancing neighbors above me. Instead, I had the neighbors that checked into 230 or 232 across the hall. The host handed me the key to room 229 and as I approached the door of my room in the hallway, I could see a woman with all her crap on the floor sifting through it looking for something. I didn't think any more of it and spent some time sorting through my things getting ready for work later that evening. I was hungry so I went downstairs to see what they offered in the pantry, found nothing that appealed and walked back to the stairs to floor 2. A wiry, angry looking man in a white T-shirt came down the hall towards me and went into the room where I'd seen the woman before. Again, didn't think much of it... until the screaming and shouting began. There were expletives and plenty of hate for an hour. I thought I heard someone getting hit and at one time I heard the woman screaming HELP over and over. I called the front desk, but no one answered, and I definitely didn't want to leave my room. The woman left and found she'd been locked out and started pounding on the door asking for her phone. (Yes, I could easily hear all this inside or outside their room from inside my room.) They finally left still screaming at each other thankfully so I was able to sneak out and get to the airport to do my job. When I returned the privacy tag was on their door and I hoped that was it. It wasn't. At 7:45 they started screaming and yellling again. I heard something being thrown. The man claimed she'd hit him in the head and she said it wasn't true. They left the room again with the man shouting "you're going to jail, bitch!" I'm shocked no one else heard this on floor 2. I checked out and left the hotel. Odds are, this is probably a one-off occurrence, but it'll make me think twice when I'm choosing between Hampton and Comfort Suites.

There was a rack…read moreto hang clothes on, ON the wall next to the bathroom door... but the rack was in the walk way of one side of the bed. I took that side, since I'm a munchkin: didn't have to worry about hitting my skull on it. There wasn't a coffee maker in the room which was really weird, slightly annoying. Having the option would have been nice but oh well, 6$ Starbucks it is! Our bathtub wouldn't drain. Well, it did, but it took FOREVER. Who knows how many people and how many years worth of hair was built up in that drain. Me and my man had to stand in a pool of our own soapy/dirty water mess. Grody. In the bathroom we got two little bars of soap, a lotion and a conditioner. No shampoo. Wtf? Luckily I hoard hotel shampoos and conditioners, so I already had some. The A/C was the jankiest thing I have ever seen. It looked like they sawed a hole through the wall that wasn't really the right size for it... and it was apparent. It was also SO LOUD. The curtains wouldn't open how I wanted them to open, and I wanted to open the window to get some fresh air but it took both of us to scoot it open it was so stuck. Was an OK deal, I guess... we both slept alright. So did the dog, lol. More comfortable than the last motel I stayed in, for sure.

We returned to Eagle Crest on an Interval International exchange using our Kona Coast Resort unit…read more Eagle Crest is a large project and it's a little confusing about which projects are managed by what company, so I am specifically reviewing the Worldmark Resort property and should not be applied to any other hotels or resorts at Eagle Crest. We have stayed at several Worldmark properties in the past, and this is our definite favorite. First off we were able to fly directly into Redmond from SFO, avoiding a two drive from Portland as that's how we came last time. The airport is small but that's a plus as far as we were concerned, and our Costco rental car from Budget was fine. Our check in was easy and Kiyah was a great rep for Worldmark. We got a text from her a few minutes after we were in the unit asking how things were, and that was a nice touch. The 2 bedroom 2 bath unit was perfect. We own two vacation rentals and live in Kona and are appreciative of a job well done. Everything was immaculate, and it seemed like it had been recently updated. I had called the week before, asking for a unit on the Deschutes river side, and we happily had an end unit with a great view. The gal I spoke with was friendly and let me know that checkin had moved so I had a google map address which made it easy to find. The kitchen had everything one could ask for and more. The dishwasher was the only appliance that needs retirement lol. The bedroom with attached bath and a work desk was excellent. It was relaxing to take a long hot bath in a huge tub after a long flight. We used the Weber grill on the patio three times during the week we were there. The Sisters meat market in Redmond is well worth a visit. One word of warning for people that have problems with stairs: this is a multi floor unit. You enter at one level and go down a flight of stairs to the living room and kitchen and one bedroom with two twins. From the entry you go up a flight to the main bedroom with huge bath/shower and king bed. So there are lots of stairs if you are going up and down from the living room (which is so cozy with the gas fireplace) up to the main bedroom. I'd find someplace else that had less stairs if that's a criteria. I'm typing this as I use the fast 500 mbps (ookala speedtest) internet and we are streaming from our ipad all of our regular addictions. My one complaint, and it is a major one, is the horrible cheap mattresses. There were far too firm, and terrible for both of our backs, resulting in back and neck aches. Perhaps they'd sourced them from a cheap manufacturer, but saving money on mattresses is foolish especially these days when you are judged on how comfortable a nights sleep is. We managed to survive by taking the comforters from the twins and placing them across the king mattress where our hips and shoulders were aching and then got a couple more blankets from housekeeping. It helped, but not enough. We fortunately were staying in an airbnb the following week with a fantastic mattress and the contrast was stunning. I complained about this on our last visit, hopefully with the management change that happened in the summer they will allocate funds to refresh a crucial part of the guest experience, a restful nights sleep. Again, this is a Worldmark exchange and should not be confused with any other property at Eagle Crest. Interval International exchanges have different rules and costs and things like internet access are included. Your experience without being an II member or Worldmark owner may be very different. We exchanged a week in a beautiful timeshare in Kona to stay here and were quite happy. For us, this is one of our favorites and we will definitely be back. Mahalo.
