I've been going to Worldgate Nails for 4 years now, except for the past few months. I used to go twice a month until the last three experiences which were awful so I stopped going for awhile. It was partially my fault for not calling ahead of time and asking for one of the two girls I really like each time. Ratha is amazing, by far the best one there. She's super friendly and always remembers me. Amy is really great too. Doesn't really talk, but hey most of the time I really like that and appreciate the time to just relax. They both do really good work and I've never been unhappy with either. Now, don't ever expect to be greeted when you get there. It's strange, but I'm used to it now- which is sad. I'm in the customer service industry and know that's one of the most important things. You just have to know going in that someone probably won't say anything to you for a few minutes (unless Ratha sees me, then she will say hi). Now, for the last three times. The girl I had was just awful and seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. Everything she did really annoyed me and my nails looked really bad. She also didn't speak any English at all, which would be okay but I brought over three polishes to try out the color on my nails to see which one I wanted. No matter how I said it she just thought I wanted all three colors consecutively on all my nails. No one around us would help with the miscommunication. The second time all of the pedicure chairs were being fixed by two maintenance guys. Really annoying to be sitting next to a guy who is fixing the chair next to you, and keeps bumping into you, while you're trying to relax. I go there mainly to relax! Then, he tries fixing THE CHAIR I'M SITTING IN! Are you kidding me?!?! None of the girls said anything to him! Like, please don't do that. Or they could have started on my finger nails first, or had them come back, or closed off the pedicure stations, anything. It was just super annoying and not a pleasant time. The third time was just bad. The girl was bad (another new one), she seemed really annoyed the whole time, she painted my nails so thick that I, no lie, sat underneath the dryer for an hour and a half. She never came to check on me. After awhile it was getting ridiculous and it was still wet. I tried getting her to come over and tried telling her and she said oh you just need to sit under here longer. Really? Nails don't take two hours to dry. She just didn't seem to care why I was still there. But, I'm giving this place a 4 because like I said, the past 4 years before those experiences have been great. Just have to call ahead of time to request one of them! read more
