I've hesitated in writing this review, not because I don't like this place, but because I don't want the secret to get out! Hah. I came here on a whim one time before vacation because my normal (popular) location was closed on Sunday. I stumbled into a gem...Lisa! Lisa is amazing and I only come if she's working. She's patient, doesn't rush, gives recommendations and my nails look amazing each time. On top of that, my nails look great for several weeks after- a true reflection of her skills! I've had a full set, gel, dip, pedicures, pretty much the full gambit. She's even helping me venture out beyond the neutral colors I tend to gravitate towards, haha. The salon is always clean, music isn't blasting too loudly and the chairs come with a massage, if that's your jam. They also offer complimentary beverages (sodas, coffee and water). PRO TIP: Bring your tip in cash because if you add it to your final bill you get taxed on that as well. Note: Pay attention to your GPS directions on the way here because sometimes it tries to take you around the back of the building complex and it makes zero sense because there's literally nothing back there but garbage bins. 4 group pedicure. They were not professional pedicures. The application was horrible for everyone that recieved a nail color. Uneven and sloppy. I'm questioning whether these are professionally trained staff. It also doesn't help that my nail technician didn't speak any English and when she was hurting my foot I couldn't effectively communicate with her. My nails turned out okay, not exactly how I wanted them but I was just happy to get them done. The real reason I'm leaving a bad review is because the staff. I'm not sure if I came in on a bad day or what. The staff did not welcome me in very nicely. The girl who did my nails was clearly in a bad mood, it was obvious. Definitely was talking trash about me to her coworkers and I would hardly call it a standard pedi. She just seemed absolutely miserable. I won't be returning solely because of this. I did my nails yesterday and I was very happy with the service, I wasn't very sure about the quality of the dip power by seeing the package and I was right, one of my nails slowly chipped, the worst part is that I came in asked them to please fix my nail. They asked me to come back in 45 minutes and I told them that I couldn't come back because I had plans already. I traveled from NJ to visit a friend who lives close. I wanted to get a mani-pedi and looked through several salons through Yelp. I am so glad to make the best choice when visiting this place. My friend and I both got the Butter Baby! pedicure. My friend got a regular manicure and I wanted a dip manicure. I have not been able to find a salon who can do a great dip manicure WITH a design. It's either having a good dip mani but they can't do designs or they can do a design but the dip mani does not last long (it breaks easily). But I digress lol I went here with a design I found off Pinterest and I am so happy with how they turned out! Jenna did my friend's regular mani and Butter Baby! pedicure and my friend loved hers as well. Sara did my pedicure and mani. She was so thorough with cleaning EVERYTHING. I feel so clean! After reviewing Mani/Pedi salons on Yelp, I happily made an appointment with the highly recommended owner, Nina. All went well with the Mani/Pedi. This experience was for Natural Nails. There was quite a selection of polishes. Nina even helped with the polish selection. I could not tell you if they offer paraffin for Mani/Pedi. The salon was clean and lovely. My issue has to do with waxing the peach fuzz and a few wiry chin hairs off of my face; something I've had done for years. I have often had reddened skin for a little while. I expect it. It's a minor issue. In all that time I have never been bruised. I noted that the one strip was pulled, it genuinely hurt. I had a very notable bruise about the size of a fifty-cent piece. The next day I went back to show Nina the bruise. She DID NOT APOLOGIZE. When nudged, she stated the bruise was my fault as I have sensitive skin. I was shocked! read more

Update: 6/13/19. Been back a number of times since my first visit and I am always happy with Nina's work on both my hands and feet. Recommend calling ahead as she gets busy. First time here but it won't be my last. Just came in for a pedicure (will get a manicure on my next visit). Nina did a great job and I really appreciated the salons attention to hygiene. Liners for the foot soak, and all tools came out of an autoclave or were single use items. I did have to pay extra for callous removal but that seems to be standard for the area. A week later and my feet are still smooth and the polish looks great. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Tried them for the first time. Not worth it. My nails started lifting the next day. Nice staff, beautiful place, but maybe just not my lucky day. Went in for a gel refill but it was a disaster. Thought about going back to get them fixed but I think it will be the same issue. Sadly, I will not be returning Update**** The owner Nina made several attempts to reach me to apologize. Tammy did my mani/pedi today and my nails turned out so beautiful! Tammy really took her time and even stayed passed closing time to finish my nails. The salon was really clean and they had relaxing music playing. I could not have asked for a better experience. Also, Tammy's husband, Jonhnny, did my girlfriends pedicure and he really took his time and was accommodating to her injury on her foot. Ok so this is what happened today, one of my nail peeled off and I wanted to do some refill but my regular salon doesn't open today so I went to this salon. The the nightmare happened.... First one of girl applied acrylic refill for me, guess what? only nails that was done by previous salon look good, the one peeled off and only got done by her is SO UGLY! The nail surface is sooo flat and not even, I told her the shape is not good and do we want apply more acrylic on that? She PROMISED the it will look good eventually, after applying gel, Alright I believed what she said Then another girl applied gel polish for me which is even worse, the gel applying skill is so bad and she doesn't know how to fix my uneven nail, the only word she could say is "there is nothing we can do for that". Long story in short, I'll give 0 if I could, ugly shape, poor acrylic technique, gel polish applying skill is even worse. Don't waste your time here otherwise you'll get disgusting nail after seating there for 2 hours. Btw, don't let a someone do clients' nail if they're not ready yet, we don't pay for being treated as fake practicing hands. read more

This place is great! My impeccable manicure and pedicure were done by Tammy - and I highly recommend her! I chose the Organic pedicure using lemongrass and green tea products in a process that included a scrub, a mask, an extra-emollient massage lotion, a warm paraffin wax treatment on feet and a warm neck wrap while in the massage chair! I brought my own regular OPI polish for my toes but needed the same color OPI polish color, in a gel, for my fingers - and they had it! The manicure also included a warm paraffin wax treatment - which is over-the-top to me! This is the BEST manicure and pedicure I have had here in Ashburn!!! I love this nail salon! Tammi, who does my nails (and is also the owner) is meticulous, skilled (especially with "accent nails"), and really cares about her customers. The service she provides is always top-notch. The salon is clean, well organized, and has soothing music playing in the background. I like the fact that this is a family-run business (with husband and mother-in-law working there, as well). Nina is the absolute best!! I followed her from a previous salon. However, my nails are pretty thin and prone to breaking so I've recently started doing SNS. She's the only person I've ever been to who actually pays attention to how thin my nails are and knows how to make them amazing anyway. She's very talented and has a high attention to detail. She's very personable, always striking up a conversation and genuinely cares about how you're doing. This salon is VERY clean and SUPER cute and trendy. I've found my new go-to nail salon. The owners and team are so friendly. My first visit was just a pedicure which was delightful. I came back today for a manicure. I usually just do my own nails at home but I decided to go with a powder coat so that they stay nice longer. I hate to share this information, mostly because I feel like I found a gem in a hole in the wall, but if you would like some personal attention while getting your manicure and pedicure, you should go to Deja Vu nails. It's located in the Ashburn Village Farm shopping center (Near the Global Food, same shopping center with the Advanced Auto Parts and VA Tire and Auto). The sign simply says NAILS, and this shopping center looks like it's seen better days. Remember when it used to have a Shopper's Food Warehouse? Anyway, back to my nails. The pedicure comes with a "menu", where you can choose as little or as much pampering of your feet as you wish to afford that day. I picked a little bit more than usual, and wow, it was lovely. The pedicure bowls are all hygienic, as they put a plastic thing over it before they even fill it with water. Lovely chairs, they offer you a drink of water or cola, and it's cozy (not huge). Plenty of personal attention if you want it, or quiet if you prefer it. The items that they use on you are single use, and the metal items are sanitized properly. I've gotten some funk from a nail salon that took me a while to get rid of, so let me tell you, I appreciate this extra care. I had a gel set put on my fingernails, first time, and they are perfect. I can't stress enough, this place doesn't look like much when you come to the shopping center. You will appreciate the skill set, the service, and the end product. To me, that's worth it. I had a manicure last week at a bougie place, and it didn't last (4) days. Never again! Be aware, the Google maps has you going in some weird direction to get to this location. Just head for the Ashburn Farm Village Center, and you'll find it. There is some construction going on in the center, but as much as the outside of the shopping center needs a facelift, the nail salon itself had many visitors this time of day.
