I took a risk by choosing on reviews on Yelp when there are a billion nail salons near me. I called salons recommended to me and they were all booked. This one said they were welcoming walk-ins and had good reviews. I had destroyed my own nails (only my left hand) with a gel kit I got online and I can't do my own powder nails yet due to a hand injury. I walk in and it's extremely hot inside. I have an iced coffee in hand to cool me off and I figured I wouldn't wait long since they were were welcoming walk-ins. I picked out my color fairly quickly. I wait. Someone who was working on 2 people's nails at once said someone would be with me shortly. An HOUR goes by. I try to leave. They sit me at a table. I wait another 30 minutes. I try to leave again but someone comes to do my nails. No apologies or any small talk. In fact, they didn't even say hi. Since I did my left hand at home, the cuticles were already pushed back and trimmed but the gel that destroyed them kinda ruined them again. They did them anyways and it hurt since there wasn't really anything to push (the cuticles around the nails needed love)....and they look even more ragged. The goal was for my nails to look better. They put on the color and I say MULTIPLE times that it's too see-through. No asking if I like it, if I want another color....nothing. They just sigh, puts on more coats, and roughly pushes my hands towards me with no words to put in the lamp. Sides of nails are missing color and my nails are just a little too short so they kind of hurt. Tools were shoved into a container that wasn't clean. It made me feel icky. (tools were originally in a sanitized sleeve, but then were shoved in a container and used again, soooo I don't know here) I did get a cold water, and they asked others if they wanted water, which means they know it's hot. I've done powder/SNS on my own for over 2 years now and the person next to me had no idea how to do it. They kept asking stuff and it was really uncomfortable to watch/witness. Weirdest thing is that I got purple wax dipped AFTER my manicure was done. Then it stuck everywhere and they said I was done. This was the most WTF manicure I've ever had. I went to pay and they asked for a card. There were QR codes for Venmo and I asked if I pay that way. They said "no, I don't know what that is." I asked how I tip. They said "I don't know what tip to give you" and gave me a brochure. They left to go clean and I tracked them down to give them some cash (they worked, probably overworked, and still deserved a tip). Extremely awkward and hot, I'll pass. read more

Twice now I have taken my daughter here to get her nails done for a special occasion. I only wanted them painted with gel and the owner is never up front about the pay. Today, we were looking for a metallic silver and she goes "oh so like chrome?" I said "yes, whatever is like a metallic silver." She then took me over and showed me these colors and I said, "perfect." They finished and charged me $30 for my little girls fingers to only be painted. I expected possibly $20, since it was gel. No, the lady informs me that it is $10 extra because it is "chrome." I have no clue what that is and the owner knew exactly what she was doing. Last time they charged me $40 for my little girls nails to be painted with French gel. Totally deceptive. read more

This place is unassuming but is great. I came in for a pedi and my 5 year old daughter tagged along last minute. They fit in a kids mani/pedi and treated her with such care. They didn't rush and she loved the experience. I also loved my pedi. They took their time and didn't try to upsell me and pester me for additional services. I have gone to this spa on and off for years because of the inconsistent service (treatment by employees and nail results). Decided to give the spa another try huge mistake! I was deceived by management and treated poorly. In addition to this the results of the nails were horrible. The owner confirmed the results were unacceptable and gave a refund. the design was terrible. it was a simple design and they messed it up, it looks like a blob. the nail polish got all over the place. it was on my cuticle and on the sides. the design got smushed and it just looked awful. if i had a choice to not pay i wouldn't. i am beyond disappointed. there was definitely better people in the shop that could have done the design better but the lady that did my nails was terrible. it was rushed and just so bad. the other workers did pretty good on my cousins design, which was more difficult. i literally got a heart and my cousin got numbers and hers looked better. i am so disappointed. the only thing they did good was the manicure. would not come back. read more

This nail salon came highly recommended by a couple of people I know, so I was looking very forward to my appointment. I was scheduled for a pedicure, and when I arrived all of the pedicure chairs were full and I was asked to wait. Not a problem, but 20 minutes later when I was shown to my chair, my feet were greeted with lukewarm water and I was asked to wait again. I waited and waited and waited while my feet grew cold, and -- 50 minutes past my appointment time-- a nail technician was finally available to do my pedicure. She did not seem to understand what I said when I complained that I had been waiting almost an hour past my appointment time. Either that, or it was of no concern to her. She didn't even ask which treatment I wanted, and proceeded to work on my toes. When it came time for her to apply the polish, she presented me with colors similar to what I had selected, but not what I wanted. I finally convinced her to use one of the colors I had selected.
