I asked for chrome nails and the lady doing my nails had no idea what she was doing. She had to ask multiple workers which polish to use and how to apply the powder. She ended up ripping a toe separator and applying the chrome on with that. My nails ended up having lots of brush streaks and parts with missing chrome. Chrome was an extra $15 which is ridiculous. When she was cutting my cuticles, she made me bleed on 2 fingers! It has only been 3 days and the chrome is already disappearing from the tips of my nails... I strangely got a referral here by asking my cashier at Bath & Body Works where her wonderful nails were from! I'm so glad I took a chance to go here. Looking on their Instagram, I was impressed. They definitely can do any picture you show them!! They give you someone if you have nail art requests and ask if you have nail art in mind when you call. For my first appointment, someone else removed my previous polish and another did my new set. I liked that they did that because then I didn't have to wait around. NOTE--You DO need to call ahead (not on the same day) because they get booked ahead of time. I've had the joy and pleasure of having Haley do my nails three times now. She is wonderful, kind, and highly skilled! I enjoy talking to her while she does my nails. She even fixed my nail that ripped off when I was packing and didn't charge extra for it. She's an expert on nail art and shaping. I am healing from a severe hand injury and she always handles my hands with grace and patience. Other places pull, grab, and twist my hands and I really appreciate the tender care here. I usually do my own nails but I can't do fine motor skills for a while (especially after my surgery) so I am happy I found this place! Happy nails indeed!! I am a long-time client here - seven years. All of the staff is amazing and so welcoming and they are all incredible artists. I go every two to three weeks and it truly is my happy place. Update alert OK, so yesterday I called Happy Nails to make an appointment and I got in same day so I went over there like 10 minutes later. The receptionist checked me in and confirmed I was there for a pedicure. She took me to the back and the tech got started. She never asked what kind of pedicure I wanted but that didn't bother me because I was gonna chose the cheapest option anyways The pedicure was good and I showed her what I wanted. The receptionist came over and explained the prices. She even called me by name which gave a personal touch to the conversation. $5 extra for matte and $10 for the design. I don't really like matte so I just got the design option. After she polished my toes, someone else came over to do the design. Yahll, it looks just like the photo I LOVE IT!! To add, they also had great music playing. I was able to use my gift card I accrued from coming a million times. (I used to exclusively come to Happy Nails) Total was $57 before gift card. After my gift card I paid $47 and tipped the tech. This experience reminded me of why I fell in love with this place in the first place. I will give them another chance in the future because I really want a ratchet full set and I know Tiffany is the only person in the area that can deliver the results I want. I really want to give more stars because my manicure did turn out pretty nice (photos are after 3 weeks) but the customer service was just.... Questionable. I'll give them credit because I was running late and they were more than accommodating with pushing my appointment time. It did take me about 20-25 minutes to get seated after I arrived.... But I get it - was a busy Friday afternoon and I missed my original apt time. No biggie. However, when I finally got seated my nail tech was just super distracted on her phone. Idk if something serious was happening because she was getting ESSAYS of texts and she was taking really long breaks between filing my nails just to text. I was very disappointed in my first experience at Happy Nails. I came in with an appointment for an SNS Manicure and regular pedicure, and I was excited based on all of the positive reviews I had read. I got the Happy Pedicure, and it was nothing remarkable. I normally love paraffin wax treatments, but this one was awful. Their method for cooling the far-too-hot wax is to rub it in a bag over your skin, which was extremely uncomfortable, and I had to ask the technician to stop. The wax was still way too hot when it was put on my foot; I would highly recommend avoiding the paraffin treatment here. After the pedicure I had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to wrap my fingernails in order to remove my previous manicure. I then sat and waited another 15 minutes for my old nails to soak off. This seemed pretty inefficient, given that my nails could have been wrapped prior to my pedicure, as it is done at every other place I have gone. The nail technicians were extremely aggressive with the electric file drill and painfully nicked my cuticles on two fingers. The quality of the SNS manicure was okay, though the process seemed quite rushed. The technician didn't look over the manicure before sending me on my way, and there was a significant amount of powder and polish left on my skin and the underside of my nails. I will never go back. I made an appointment for 12pm. I drove almost an hour in the middle of the work day to go get my nails done here because I loved what I saw on their instagram. 5 minutes before my appointment I receive a text saying that my technician is running 20 minutes behind. I think to myself wow telling me five minutes before my appointment is messed up but I just drove an hour or so it's fine 20 minutes is not the end of the world. I sat there waiting until 12:30 and finally ask is there an update it's now 30 minutes past my appointment time. I was told the tech needed 15 more minutes. That is absolutely ridiculous. I literally was walking out and they beg me to stay and let somebody else do my nails. Since I drove an hour I decided to stay and or the other girl do my nails. The most ridiculous part was the tech I made my appointment with didn't finish until 1:20! An hour and 20 past my appointment time! What the hell is the point of making an appointment!?? I went to Happy Nails to get a Shellac/Gel manicure and a regular pedicure. Lucy is the technician that assisted me. The foot massage with the pedicure felt amazing. It did hurt a little when she was clipping my cuticles and shaping the nail. That's because I went to another nail place that did a horrible job and my big toe nail broke off so she complained about my toes being too short. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new nail salon. Read the reviews and decided to stop by. Appointments can be made via text and it was super easy! I loved being to do that! The wait area is slightly small and confusing because there's no space there to safely social distance for check in if there are people sitting waiting. I did have to fill out a Covid questionnaire upon check in - very nice and safe. My technician was having a difficult time removing my old gel nail so she drilled them off. Ehhh - I would have preferred to let it soak off a bit longer but ok. I went with the dip - pretty nude pink, no designs. At times, I can feel her rush through. Not sure why. It made me feel like may be my ticket was on the lower end and wasn't worth the time compared to others who were doing insane designs. She also didn't file my nails into the correct shape - some were loop sided from my view. May be from hers they were fine. I will not call it a complaint but a requirement was not met: the massage chair was not great, maybe I am just too short for my shoulders to get the shoulder massage and it was adjusted for shorty. While the salon obviously has some really great technicians (follow their insta to see fun sets/inspired pics for your next set), the service was really lacking for me. I made an appointment for 3:00 because I assumed they would be busy (they were SUPER busy). When I got there, no one greeted me so I wrote my name on the sign in pad and when someone came up front I let them know I had an appoint scheduled. They asked me to pick a color but didn't provide or point me to the acrylic or dip powder swatches/selection. I asked one of the employees and they gave me the gel selections so I just chose I color from there are figured I would just ask for the most similar one. The pedicure was done well, but wasn't an amazing experience. Then they left me in the pedicure chair to wait for my nail tech who would do my hands (which I didn't mind) but I was there for about 15 minutes before they moved me to a chair at a table with no tech and I had to wait there for 30 mins before they moved me to another chair between two nail techs while they finished their current clients nails (Another 10-15 mins) and I was then asked to move again. I noticed I wasn't the only client they had moving seats frequently. I think even asking clients to sit in the waiting area instead of multiple different chairs while they wait would be a more pleasant experience for clients and staff alike. Further more, I wasn't pleased with the shape of my nails (although the design on them was cute) and they were very thick. I let my technician know I wanted them to be more tapered than they were multiple times and it wasnt executed. i shouldn't be in the salon for over three hours (one of which I was just sitting around waiting) with a standard polish pedicure and acrylic set (especially since I had an appointment) and leave still unsatisfied with my nails. Maybe they are able to be more attentive when they aren't as busy, but I don't think I'll be back. read more

A fill it's usually 35+ dollars but they were charging me 55 for it, and 15 dollars for cuticles. When they couldn't explain the actual reason why the price increased they got mad and spoke to me disrespectfully. I've gone out of my way twice now to get my nails done here and I've been pleased both times. They are pricey, but it's to be expected. They are able to duplicate most nail designs just from a picture from what I could tell. They have a wide variety of the latest and on trend colors. Love getting my nails done here. It is essential you make an appointment though. The first time I went to the salón, I got Jon who did a white and pink dip on me. Color turned out great and seemed quality but the shape was thick. The second time I went I got Hana who did the same design and just thinned out the nail as requested and I loved her work. She also stayed very late to finish my nails and wax my brows and did a great job. I will continue to try to get Hana when I go here. I also got my lashes done here recently, which I would not recommend. My eyes were burning for most of the time and for a bout an hour after and I asked for classic lashes and made sure I repeated the price and volume lashes were put on, which I didn't realize until the end when I was about to be charged. Tiffany was super nice and checked on me throughout while the man (unsure of name) was doing my lashes, and made sure I was charged classic lash price at the end. The lashes came off in large clumps probably because they were more glued to each other and my eye lid than my own lash. This clump in the picture was really painful when it came off. The lashes retention isn't great and Id recommend going somewhere like Zola's boutique nearby for them. Overall, amazing job with their nails. Long wait times if you don't have an appointment (they do nails really well so it's understandable). They try their best to get you in and out as quickly as possible which is great for someone like me as I hate sitting in nails salons. I'm visiting from out of town and decided to pop in to this salon. Unfortunately, this was probably one of the worst manicures I've ever gotten. First, the salon has an overwhelming chemical smell. I get it - it's a nail salon, and there are a lot of chemicals. But this smell was so powerful, I almost wanted to put a mask on. Some ventilation would be nice. Second, when I asked the manicurist to trim my nails, she didn't and said "filing is easier." Like trimming someone's nails is difficult? It's a nail salon. Turns out it doesn't matter anyway because after three days, my gel polish is already chipping. The point of gel is to last longer, usually weeks. But I guess not at this place! And while I normally don't care about this, I'm throwing it out there just because my experience wasn't the greatest. My manicurist was more concerned with whoever she was texting on her phone (and who wasn't responding!) than doing her job right. I get it, people go through personal stuff, but this experience was definitely not worth $45. So if you want subpar service and a contact high from the smell of chemicals, this place is for you. I am pissed off, to start. My apologies everyone but I can not explain how unprofessional and biased this place is now. Let me start by saying, last year when I got my wedding nails done here, I was being picky (as any person is with their nails) by saying I wanted them shorted, and a technician who wasn't even doing my nails told me "you can only slide by being this picky now since you're the bride, not after hehe". Are you kidding me?!? Well side nail technician, I wasn't picky this time. But maybe I should've been cause pictures show it. I also want to say that twice already without the last month, I've had to get my gel nails re-done a week later, because they peel off after 7-9 days. That is not ok. First time they blamed my color choice, OPI funny bunny (an off white color), which she did 4 coats of. Fine, blame me once again. I went back after 7 days since they peeled off. They said I'd have to get the same color, I said well you're blaming my color choice but also forcing me to pick the same color? Doesn't make sense. They allowed me to pick another color. So I picked a standard pink, only two coats of it. It also peeled 9 days later. I was pissed off. But I gave them ANOTHER CHANCE. this time, I did acrylics. They are all lob-sided and not the same length, along with excess acrylic powder under my tips. My middle fingers on both fingers DO NOT MATCH AT ALL, they are not equal lengths. My index finger nail is excessively longer than any other nail. It's a mess. My technician was eager to leave i believe. But who knows. I paid $70-80 for this guys. I even requested a highly skilled technician that's always so booked. He allowed me to walk out with these nails. I repeatedly said I didn't want super long nails so instead I have a combo of both short and long nails, thanks John! This is upsetting because this place is packed always, even if you have an appointment, you will be waiting a while. The manager is doing my spa pedicure was just very nice and gentle and wasn't too harsh which I really liked. And then another girl who did my beautiful nails was just amazing as well.
