My first experience with LyLy was great. Every other time I have made an appointment with her, she says she doesn't have the time and has her sister do my gel nails. Since then my gel nails have chipped well before two weeks. I never experienced this at any other nail salon. Unfortunate because I did like LyLy's work, but won't go again. I was a walk in for this nail spa, there was only one other person there getting their nails done. I have no problem waiting if peter would have told me he had an appointment coming in 10 mins after I got there but he decided to take me for a gel manicure. I showed him the color pink I wanted and then moments later I asked for a white tip as well. The appointment literally took ten mins tops. I didnt get a hand massage for my manicure & didn't get a pink color just a clear gel and a white color tip. I do hair so my nails are always darkened by hair color so I shouldn't have assumed he would be like oh she wants to cover it up with the pink color she chose. But no I get clear gloss that isn't even painted all the way for it most likely will chip off in a couple of days if it hooks on to my jacket or something oh and you can still see my old ratchet nails under the clear gloss. Lol I left 3 stars because stars was for my nail tech who did my pedicure. Other than that I would of left 1 star, She took her time to do my leg massage which I very much enjoyed and appreciated. I paid way to much for these services I didn't find a moment to relax! Lol never again I'm not confrontational and I will pay for my services no problem. They still did work. Nothing elite about this nail salon...don't bother going here. I decided to treat myself and go for a mani - pedi. Walked in and the manager asks one of the manicurists to take me. Clearly the manicurist was not into taking another customer, as she looks at the clock and then reluctantly (and sleepily!) takes me to the chair for a pedicure. It was the most lackluster pedicure...very quick and nothing good or relaxing about it at all! When she started to cut the cuticles I asked her not to cut the toenails because I had just cut them...she says ok. But then what does she do? She takes a quick cut on my toenail and cuts it short! It's a nail, and it will grow back. But so very annoying when someone doesn't listen to your request and is so not into the job. Definitely not going back there and if you're not a regular there, don't bother or waste your money. PS...It's also dirty. Dirty, stained towels, musty smell, used nail files that are at the end of their life... Couldn't wait to get out of there! read more

I came in the other day and my nails still look great! Everytime I have come the outcome has always been acceptable. The reason I give a low rating is because my technician was obviously sick with something and consistently coughing. Not only is that kind of gross to begin with, but it sounded disgusting. She was very good with the washing part (I'm super ticklish). Our nails came out nice. The staff that worked with us were friendly and personable. And ultimately, we got a hell of a spa day for a pretty damn good value. Usually we just go with whatever nail salon is closest to us. It was my first time getting my eyebrows done so I was very nervous but they were done very well and only hurt a little. My nails however were a different story. The technician rushed through my mani and missed the sides of my nails. The whole manicure probably didn't take longer than 15 minutes and after looking at my nails more the edges of the paint were rough and uneven. However, it did seem to be a busy day (with homecoming) and she seemed a little stressed. I come to Elite regularly for gel manicures (with Peter) and pedicures (with Carmen) and I honestly could not be happier. Carmen's spa pedicure takes over an hour and she is so focused and methodical... and the leg massage (!) oh my gosh, the leg massage is everything. I leave the chair completely relaxed AND with an impeccable pedi. Peter moves with speed but, don't let that fool you. His manicures are spot-on: beautiful, strong and long lasting. I regularly get my legs waxed and have been looking for a nail salon since I moved to Ashburn about 5 months ago. The tattooed lady that waxed me should be re-educated in waxing, in my opinion: Wax should be applied WITH the hair growth. Powder should be used to prep the client as the FIRST step, not when you realize the wax is not coming off with the muslin. Care should be taken to not get wax on the clients clothes. I came home to find wax drippings on the back of my leggings on both legs in 3 different spots. When you apply oil at the end of the service to remove the leftover wax, you should make sure all the wax is gone especially if you're going to take an additional step to remove the oil with a wet and barely warm towel.\ I was so annoyed with the messy wax job that I'm not sure if I even want to try thier pedicures. read more

Really nice place, got a pedicure for prom and it was done beautifully and efficiently. Staff is sweet and the atmosphere is really nice. I made the mistake of trying the other salon by Bonefish and was significantly disappointed. The people there were rude and the nail tech burnt every single finger with the gel. Ouch I said over and over. Cindy knows what she is doing and is a very funny lady. I won't go anywhere else and the service is well worth the price. Be sure to give them a try.
