She doesn't even know how to do proper threading -- she used tweezers, worked painfully slow, and left my eyebrows uneven. She kept sneezing, sniffing, and even took medicine during my service. When I asked her to wear a mask (because I have an infant at home), she mocked me and then handed me off halfway through. The other worker tried to fix her mistakes, but I was left with thin, painful eyebrows that I absolutely hate. On top of that, Anusha shouted at me while I was paying and told me never to come back. This was not just bad service -- it was humiliating, unhygienic, and painful. Truly the worst experience I've ever had at a salon. Avoid this place at all costs. I'm writing this as no one deserves this kind of experience as a customer paying for the service.

This happened to multiple nails, and instead of the nail tech cleaning it up, she put nail glue over it so it hardened. As I left the salon, my nails hurt so bad that it hurt to simply wash my hands. It has been a few days, and my nails still hurt really bad. I have never had an experience quite like this and I will not be returning. The salon itself is beautiful...very artsy, chic, and full of positive energy. What stood out to me most was how well everyone worked together. You can tell this is a team that truly enjoys what they do and supports one another, which made the whole experience feel so genuine. I was referred to Mayko after seeing the amazing job he did on my nurse's hair, and I knew I had to book an appointment with him. It ended up being one of the best decisions I've made. I was beyond impressed. My hair had previous damage, and after speaking with other stylists who seemed nervous to even touch it, Mayko came in with confidence and completely put me at ease. He knew exactly what he was doing. The final result turned out even better than I imagined. He's definitely earned my loyalty. Nese, the owner, was also so warm and involved throughout the salon, helping wherever needed and making sure everyone was taken care of. This was easily one of the best salon experiences I've had, and it was absolutely worth the 45-minute drive. Looking forward to my next appointment.

Heather was actually the first ever esthetician I came to to get a Brazilian wax. I actually still remember my first appointment with Heather because I was telling her how nervous I was day of but she made me feel comfortable and guided me throughout the whole waxing process. She even tells you when to take deep breaths for parts that may hurt more than others (I know this doesn't sound like a big deal, but it is!)! I actually stopped going to Heather for a year or so because it was difficult to set up appointments with her since I worked in DC. However, now that my schedule is a little more flexible, I switched back to getting waxes by Heather. I'm really glad that I did because she's super sweet and deserves the business. I recently came in to get my arms, legs, and a Brazilian wax done and time flew by so fast because of our conversation. I didn't feel uncomfortable at any point during the waxing session (all of this came out to $170). Prices are extremely reasonable in my opinion. I used to go to one of the waxing chains in Ashburn, and I can definitely tell you that service + price at Voda Spa is way more deserving of my business. Heather also does facials :) I really hope to get a facial done by her sometime soon too. They sounded awesome when I asked her about them, and the fact they all include extractions to get all that gunky stuff out of your skin sounds appealing. In summary, reasonable prices, cozy environment, and excellent customer service. P.S. Weekends can be super hard to book with Heather, so if you need weekend appointments, book them at least 3 weeks in advance. Also, the door to enter Voda Spa is on the side of the building. There's a door outside that says "Voda Spa." Heather includes those directions when you get your appointment confirmation, but including this tip anyways in case someone forgets to read that portion :)
