I've been skipping around from nail salon to nail salon trying to commit to one ever since leaving my last one for lack of availability. This is BY FAR THE BEST I HAVE BEEN TO. I had David for my first fill and it's the first flawless fill I've had. I'm a nail biter (even though they're acrylic) and the paint didn't come off at all! It usually looks bad after a few days, but not this time. The second time I had Tina do my fill. She was a perfectionist and shaped them perfectly. Lily did my pedicure, which I am also very happy about. Overall, great prices and good service. Glad this place didn't have a wait when I called the first time. So, my 1st experience was good! I arrived at 9:15 because of all the reviews, thinking Id better arrive early or I'm not going to get out quickly... It worked!!! I was seated right away and had a simultaneous pedi and a new set of coffin style acrylics. Loved both, left happy!! 2nd visit, good pedi, got a nice cut from a different tech on my fill and I wasn't as happy. 3rd visit, David did my fill and my pedi was alright. 4th (today)... Super happy because Rose was back from vacay!! Great pedi and even awesome-r fill/repair/gel !! 5th visit, thank goodness for Rose who saved the day with great nail art that covered the somewhat thick globs of gel polish. My 4 stars are for the sometimes inconsistent results, but if it was based on Rose and her ability to do nails it would be 5. I have made appointments almost every time I have came here. I've brought my in laws, my sister's and every time they do not honor my appointment times. Yesterday after going into my appt early I signed it, let them know I had an appt and sat with my hubby. So I waited for 20 min until I got pissed because they literally do this to ME every time! So I gave Rose a piece of my mind. I told her this always happens to me, they never honor my appts and why did they scheduled an appt they can't keep? She didn't even apologize and her husband, David, just continued to do nails as if he didn't hear me talking. I was so upset the worse customer service ever !! I stormed out. Aside from working at a different salon, I honestly enjoy coming to this nail salon. Rose always does a tremendous job, everyone in there are so friendly and greet me all the time when I come in. Rose never runs behind and takes me in right away when I arrive. My sister and I enjoy coming to Rose, she's so sweet. They switched owners and the new salon technicians don't have any idea what they're doing. They won't accept my gift certificate that was purchased mid October and isn't expired because the previous owner was the one who sold it and even though they bought the salon, won't honor it. We still had their services done and it was the worst decision ever. The pedicure was terrible and the older ladies just don't have any strength to scrub your feet or rub them. It took forever and my feet did not feel like they had a pedicure even after the world packager. I have gel on my fingers and toes and they're both peeling after 10 days because they were so sparse on the polish. It's very sad. Time for a new salon. read more

Yah! Looks like I finally found my nail shop. After trying out many different mediocre places I've found a lil gem in riverside. I found them through Yelp and was initially wary about going because of the location. I'm so glad i looked past it and decided to called for an appointment with Rose @1. Initially things didn't start off well, I walk in @12:55 and rose is not even half way through a full set on a client. I get waved down to sit for my pedicure by Mimi, I sit and water is cold. I let her know and she adjust temp. There was a language barrier as Mimi did not speak English so rose walked over to translated. Amy then walks over and starts removing my gel polish and working on my manicure. I was a bit confused as to why Rose finished her full set and then started working on a walk in client instead. I'm actually glad things didn't work out with rose because Amy did a phenomenal job. I've NEVER had a nail tech be so thorough on my nails. She took her time and made sure my nails were perfect, even when there was a wait. She added a long intense hand massage at the end. Mimi also did a fabulous job on my pedi and also added a long amazing massage @the end.
