Woops, there it isn't. I read so many great reviews about this place, so I was really excited to give it a try. Let me start by saying, the overall cafe ambience is wonderful and very Parisian. I loved the decor. If Anthropologie opened a bakery, this is what it would look like inside. Visually, the assortment of colorful macarons is stunning, and the other baked goods in the case looked mouth-watering as well. The staff was friendly, and even offered to warm up our cookies for us before they served them to us, which was a very nice touch. Unfortunately, I cannot say anything positive about the desserts we ordered. For the sake of variety, we ordered a Canele, a red velvet cookie, and a peanut butter cookie. The Canale looked amazing, but was too hard to cut into with a fork. The girl behind the counter had described it to me as "custard-filled" when I asked, so its hardness was unexpected (that's what she said). After a few tries, I gave up and just picked it up and took a bite. There was little to no flavor, not really even a sweetness to speak of. It was just chewy and flavorless. We moved on to the cookies, hoping for a better experience. When I bit into my peanut butter cookie, I was surprised to find it filled with oatmeal. Unless it's an oatmeal cookie, I don't expect oatmeal to be in a cookie. It tasted like a peanut butter oatmeal breakfast bar, not a cookie at all. Two down, one to go. We bit into the red velvet cookie. It was drier than a desert. Everyone knows the best part of red velvet cake is the cream cheese icing, but there was no icing anywhere on or inside the cookie, nor white chocolate or cream cheese chips. No texture, no variety. Nothing except a block of dry cookie with no flavor. After three strikes with the desserts, we were disappointed. Add to this the fact that you have to pay for parking to visit this bakery during peak times due to its trendy location, and I can honestly say that I will most likely not be back any time soon. read more

The camera eats first at this cute bakery. If you're looking for an instagram worthy spot this is it! It has cute decor and the food is pleasantly displayed. The service was fast and the staff was kind. The food tastes just as good as it looks. I enjoyed some of their macaroons, my favorite one is the Cookies and Cream. I've had macaroons on the streets of Paris and I promise you, you can't tell the difference! They have some flavors that are popular in France like Passion fruit and Caramel Fleur Del Sel. After having a dinner with friends that were moving away we spotted this cute little shop across the street. I decided to walk over and take a peek as desserts are always welcome in my family. They had sooo many flavors and the girl behind the counter was extremely friendly. They even have samples! I mean if you keep our fresh samples you'll definitely get a thumbs up from me. All the cookies were soft and tasted amazing. They weren't hard or tasted old (macarons always expire so quickly in my opinion). I'm so excited to have this little shop in Tucson. We were walking by after picking up some tea next door and decided to pop in out of curiosity. The lady who works here is super nice and let us try some macarons before choosing our flavors. The decor is really cute and French inspired, with a cozy atmosphere and nice relaxing music. And the treats are delicious! Just the right combination of chewy and crunchy. Each has a hint of flavor that doesn't overpower the delicious base. And there are some impressive flavors. I think that the Earl Grey is my favorite, but I seriously haven't had one I didn't like (and you can rest assured that I have done due diligence). BEST customer service! I called in an order from Hawaii to be delivered to a hotel that my brother and sister in law were staying at. Alexa took my order and she said her manager would follow up the next day to confirm. She patiently walked me through the flavors- giving recommendations, repeating herself and helping me to make decisions. Mind you, this was at the end of her work shift, they were about 5 minutes to closing. The next day, Ellie called me to confirm my order. She even offered to deliver a little earlier than I had asked, and for no charge. I was so grateful. She was so easy to work with and so accommodating. Stopped in so my daughter could get some Macarons. They certainly had a large selection of Macarons in all kinds of flavors. This made it hard for her to pick some flavors to try. My daughter truly enjoyed the Macarons. My wife and opted for a couple of cookies. I went with the Chocolate chip with walnuts and my wife picked the triple chocolate. Both were huge. They warmed up the cookies for us which softened them up a bit and made them nice a gooey. The place is a little small with several small tables. I would call it cozy. We chose assorted 18 pcs macaroons with the green box and the price was $49 plus tax. They put the gift box in a nice Woops shopping bags and they also put some pink tissues with it. It was just perfect and ready to give to our friends. When I gave the gift to our friend, she told me that she really liked them. She even asked us where I got the macaroons because she wanted to go there herself. As far as the store itself, the store is located in a nice, pretty busy road in a college neighborhood. How does a bakery not have any cupcakes? Walking in I thought that this establishment would at the very least have cupcakes. What kind of bakery doesn't have cupcakes. Beside the fact that they did not have cupcakes but now they didn't even have pie. Pie a staple of american culture. Onto the food that was actually purchased. The cookies were at a minimum a day old. While the service was prompt but the main problem was the product that they were serving was sub par. Overall at least they tried.
