Still not impressed. I don't find the coffee particularly special, although there are people who love it. A lot. Ordered some avocado toast and while it really pains me to complain but it was basically a breakfast guacamole with toast points. Waaay too much guacamole for the toast and that says a lot - I mean when should you ever complain about too much avocado? Son had a Matcha Tea latte that didn't have enough Matcha so it was hot, vaugely tea-flavored milk. Just meh all the way around. Still won't seek it out over our other choices around. read more

I have enjoyed Woods coffee for years and was so happy to find this location today. I am usually not one for super sweet coffees, but today I got a toffee nut macchiato with oat milk. It was really good but definitely super sweet! I also grabbed a cheese bagel with avocado- not the most amazing bagel I've ever had, but it was good and they put a ton of avocado on it. Spent a little less than $12 for a 12oz drink and the bagel w/ avo - decent price for a specialty drink and breakfast item. read more

The Mudslide is like a S'mores blended Coffee drink. It is super sweet so think of it more like a dessert drink rather than a coffee frappe. It is perfect on a hot day or a long drive. I recommend asking for a 3rd shot in it to cut thru some of the sweetness but when you have that much sugar in a cup its rather hard to do. Their latte's also tend to be on the sweet side so ask for half the sweetener if you like adding flavors. I prefer just a plain mocha from them. They are super popular up in the Bellingham area. read more

I had a delicious Iced Carmel Macchiatto and a Monster Cookie on Saturday, it was my first time and it was pretty great! No complaints. On Tuesday I had a Chai Tea Latte and a breakfast burrito. We had been to this coffee chain once before in Bellingham and were so happy to see it join Bothell! Inside is beautiful but I must say having a drive thru is very handy for times you need to be fast. They also have oat milk which is a huge bonus. My husbands favorite is the coconut latte with cinnamon raisin. I enjoy just a standard oat milk latte- very delicious and creamy. We will definitely be repeat customers! read more

Garbage coffee. Fiancée and I went through drive thru. She got a mudslide I got a an americano wIth nothing in it. I've always drank my coffee black and without anything added. This americano was awful beyond words and so bitter I couldn't even drink it. Frustrated we went back through the drive thru and they made me feel stupid by telling me it was supposed to taste like that. I asked for something eLse instead so they gave me a cold brew which was also completely bitter. I ended up pouring it out. I would've been a little more sympathetic with them had they not made faces and asked me if I wanted something with flavor. 10$ for two drinks. I got a 16oz decaf Mocha yesterday and it was tasty but too sweet for my palate. So yes decent coffee BUT the bottom of the to go cups has "John 3:16" printed on it which I'm not a fan of but more importantly I asked for decaf (said it twice to make sure) and I got caffeine. It's 4:53am and I've yet to fall asleep. The only thing that does that to me is caffeine which is why I never touch it. read more

Here's my take. I like that it's a local business and I support that. It's right across the street from a Starbucks so I chose this place. Honestly, I would have thought it was a Starbucks inside. The menu is similar and the ambience is similar. I had the cinnamon white mocha coffee. Unfortunately, I prefer Starbucks cinnamon dolce over it. This location is not at all like the others. Customer service is consistently poor, and drink quality is hit or miss. I was excited to see a new Woods in Bothell, having lived up north where they are popular. Whoever they keep putting on drive-thru either needs serious training or should probably stop working in a customer-facing role. They are usually abrupt and do not seem happy. I don't know if there's behind the scenes drama or if they're still working through some kinks as a new store, but my overall experience here has been disappointing. You're probably better off hitting up a local stand if you want to get decent drinks and a genuine "hello" from a barista. read more

We're regulars at woods - you really need to check who you gonna put on the drive thru window....... today i forgot to tell her up front that i want sugar in my coffee and she was rolling her eyes on me because we asked for 2 bags of sugar and a straw...... the coffee was the worst ever and i know that's not the standard of woods at all ..... i was like, should i adress this and go in and get some new ones or just leave it behind me and move on...... but then i thought "hey 7 bucks for a drip and cappuccino" worst service and bad coffee? I really want to love this location .... and I'm cutting them some slack as they have only been open a few weeks ..... but honestly I feel like giving 3 stars . We LOVE Woods coffee up north , there are several locations around Mount Vernon and Burlington that we frequent . Always have amazing tasting coffee and I have always loved their decor . This location is just not as "cozy" .... it looks old and weathered and not in a good way ... some of the charm is missing here . The staff is not trained well either . I have been here three times and they are always slow to acknowledge customers and no one knows exactly what they carry ! I asked for the sugar free vanilla which is awesome at their other locations .... but here they are using a different brand and it is nasty ... I got sugar free almond last time ( they do have a nice selection of sugar free which I appreciate ) but today they "weren't sure" if they had it , so I had to get hazelnut which I now regret having paid $5.25 for this un- drinkable Americano . Isn't that high for an Americano btw ?? Overall impression is -not cutting it for me , I'll have to stick to Starbucks which isn't that great but at least they are consistent ... read more

I was SOOOOOOOOO happy to stumble on Woods Coffee accidentally! My kids go to therapy down the road and I skipped out of the waiting room to hit Safeway for gas and literally yelped (LOL! no pun intended!) when I saw the sign "Woods Coffee Drive Thru"! I made a beeline since I was going to be getting coffee elsewhere. I wished I had time to go inside but that will have to wait. Drive thru was prompt and courteous and offered me a Woods Coffee Card. I got a couple Italian Sodas for my kids and an Americano for me...for less money than I would have paid down the road! Score! I think the 2 italian sodas and the Americano came to $8.45? Excellent! They didn't have the vast amount of flavors (for the sodas) our go-to close to home has, but still a good amount to please and the kiddos were happy with what I chose for them which is always a good thing! I'm excited to spend some time INSIDE this great addition to the community the next time I have more time! read more

I love that this shop is in the Bothell area, and have visited the other stores up north. Customer service is always great, friendly staff and timely. However, my americano shots, the only three times I've went through the drive-thru, have seemed bitter or even sour, no matter how many splendas or sugar I add to it. My coffee isn't horrible, but it's not 5 star quite yet. It could be that the grounds arent on "spec," or whatever it may be, I'm not a barista. Fix the coffee shots please!!!
