Woods has fully replaced Starbucks for me as my go-to coffee stop. The staff are friendly and super welcoming, they also perform well under the pressure of long lines and consistently deliver quality beverages. I've had issues with a couple of orders and they've always been quick to fix them with no pushback or problems. I'm a big cold brew drinker, and Woods BY FAR blows out nearly every other cafe in the area's cold brew in terms of taste and smoothness. The seasonal menus are also fun and add some nice flavors if you don't mind some extra sugar in your drink. I'm not a huge fan of the food here but that's just me, I know some family and friends that love the items available. Disappointed. I wanted to try a local coffee shop I mistakenly thought Woods Coffee was small local not a chain coffee shop. The branding is very Starbucks's in fact the branding is so similar it seems like a Starbucks offshoot? It's a nice coffee shop with wood accents and a beautiful fireplace you can sit by. There were 3 in my party, we ordered inside at the counter to go. The coffee shop was not busy. The person taking our order might have been new because our order was all wrong. We ordered 3 oat milk lattes with honey and cinnamon. We got 3 lattes with milk and honey. We also ordered 2 Santa Fe breakfast wraps and a breakfast burrito. We got one Santa Fe wrap. Our coffee took 10 minutes to make and I had to ask where my other food items were. I was told I never ordered them. We all ordered together. Each of us stating our order separately to the cashier. Not sure how they missed 2 out of 3 food items. We received the missing items 10 minutes later so now we are at 20 minutes. I will bypass Woods Coffee next time. I love that Woods is consistently good regardless of location and the experience is always a good one. I loved the open feel of this location and that they had plenty of seating at the same time. I appreciated that it was nice and clean with clean tables, no tiny bits of garbage or napkins anywhere, including the area to straws etc. The staff was friendly and more than happy to help. I ordered the mudslide with oat milk and it was such a treat - a milkshake basically with espresso to wake me up! So good! It will be hard to order anything else in the future! I appreciate the gluten-free options as well (monster cookie and breakfast sandwhich). Can't believe I haven't been here before! The staff were great, friendly, and helpful. The menu seems very simple yet rather confusing. I think its because we have been groomed to seeing so many different drink options with other places. I'd like to say these folks are true baristas in the sense that you could probably explain a flavor you're craving and they'd probably be able to nail it. I feel I can have that confidence with this store. So glad I made it for a Yelp Event and was able to try this place out to see what they got. The layout is nice and open. Doesn't smell like spoiled milk, wasn't loud and overwhelming. Didn't feel like I was surrounded by a FOMO situation with products they offer to sell. The menu is a bit set back at a distance for me and I couldn't read the menu since I forgot my glasses...but refer back to what I said about explaining a flavor you're wanting and WHAMMO! All we're ready within about five minutes and served with a smile. Kids loved the HC and downed every drop, other than an unfortunate spill from the youngest. Wife enjoyed her CM and my LF was tasty, though a bit on the weaker side. I got a 24 oz and it looks like I should've paid for an extra bag (there was one, not quite enough for that much water). We sat outside and enjoyed the sun. There were some missed opportunities to make this visit amazing, but overall it was a good experience. Loved The Avalanche! Sweet and chocolatey with caffeine is my fave way of starting my morning. Their Banana bread and Apple Coffee cake are unforgettable. Super moist and dense. Be ready for an eventual update of this review. I can certainly see this spot becoming a five-star, but I'll need to try more before giving them that honor. The drink sizes are so adorable, named after different trees, a very cute and fitting theme. We both got cold drinks this time around and they were so smooth and delicious. I am personally a huge fan of coffee shops with lots of windows and natural light, and Woods Coffee definitely checks those boxes. It's a great place to chat with friends over coffee, and it seems like a great place to work from as well. The baristas were super friendly and got our drinks out so quickly. I had a question about the steamed cold brew, and I got a very thorough description. I would probably try it on a warmer day. I got an iced vanilla latte, and the only gripe I had was that it was just a little too heavy on the vanilla syrup for my taste so I would probably ask for half a pump if you dont like your drinks too sweet. I have had this coffee shop bookmarked on yelp for awhile now. Today, I finally got to try it and was very happy with our experience. We did not go inside, but used the ever convenient drive thru option. I love that a smaller coffee chain has that as an option, by the way. The sizes are different types of trees (cedar, redwood, etc.) and I just love that. The offerings are not extensive but I think a nice selection still. This is something I prefer, as the smaller the menu the more perfected individual drinks tend to be. Hubby got an iced vanilla latte and I got an iced chai with almond milk. The flavor of the coffee was great. Nice and rich, with more of a mellow flavor than your caramely/smoked flavor of a starbucks espresso. It paired well with the vanilla. My chai was good... had nice spice but tasted too "juicy" or watery for my liking. It's hard to explain. It tasted super similar to like an Oregon chai concentrate from the store. We shared a pumpkin cream cheese loaf and it was AMAZING. Absolutely delicious, and I am so glad we got just one to share because my goodness, I could've eaten three of those things myself ;p Staff were so nice and helpful, and the price was very fair, I think.
