Not thrilled to be writing this negative review, as we are big fans of Mercury's and usually stop when there's one nearby. The gal who took our order on Saturday afternoon was genuinely the most unpleasant person I've ever ordered from. I'm not sure if she wanted to get off work, hated her job, or just didn't like us, but the interaction was uncomfortable from the start. She laughed after I ordered my iced Americano, and instead of clarifying the instructions on the third drink we ordered (two of the shots were decaf and one was regular), she literally rang in another drink that was completely random. It created confusion for the drink makers at the window and turned a simple order into an unnecessarily frustrating experience. It was especially unfortunate because she was the face of the ordering experience. She simply seemed like she did not want to be there. Everyone else, however, was quite lovely and incredibly accommodating when they were thrown for a loop and had to make a new drink on the fly because of how the order had been entered. We'll continue supporting Mercury's because we've had so many great experiences there, but this interaction left a really disappointing impression. read more

We got the matcha with 1% and starburst tea, both 24 oz. It was a drive thru and the service was pleasant and quick! Cost breakdown: - Matcha Iced w 1% milk 24 oz:$ 6.75 - starburst light ice tea 24 oz: $7.15 - banana bread: $3.95 Total w tip: $23! I've been to their cafe/ restaurant and they got me hooked! My favorite is fusion mocha ( hot and cold both ) and the severs are so nice to ask you about the details and understand your requirement to get you best coffee. Someone said they'd give me a free when I first reviewed and they didn't give me the option to DM on Yelp so I didn't but it's ok. This is an update to my first review. It's been about a month and I loaded my card with $50 because I got a free drink promotion for doing so. I used all $50 LOL. Of the numerous time I've come after my first visit, the coffee has been really consistent and my blended drinks are at the consistency that I love from all the other locations. I've noticed that they have taken more time to train which I think has been really valuable. If you are a fan of White Chocolate like me, I tried all of the white chocolate coffees and my favorite is the Blonde Hawaiian with the White Chocolate mocha in close 2nd place. The caramel silk is a little too sweet for me. The new energy elixirs are fun especially during these sunny days. I recommend the ones with Lotus rather than the Red Bull. Not a lot of other coffee stands besides Mercury have Lotus :) The Euphoria drink is seriously the best energy drink I've ever had. The yummy drinks and friendliness of staff keeps bringing me back! read more

Usually the service is consistent--not super fast, but quick enough and the food and coffee are great. The last two times I've ordered here, I did an online preorder. Both times, they didn't actually make my food until I was at the window. This morning, I waited in the car line for over 20 minutes, just to wait at the window for another five minutes while they prepared my order. Super frustrating. I love it when you can tell the ppl who work there love their jobs. - this coffee is AH-MAZING. (My drink is an americano with a splash of almond milk.) Organic, smooth, velvety , no acidic aftertaste. I'm in love - fast service- I love that they walk around and take your order so it's close to ready when you get to the window. - loved the vegetarian breakfast burrito. It's not fancy ( egg, potato and cheese), but tasted FRESH and way less processed than sbucks. Same with their breakfast sandwiches. Try it!! - put $50 on a gift card and scored a free drink! Woo! We only order drinks here. And we love the drinks. We go in the evening and my wife always asks for the "Mom milkshake". We don't know what it is, but it's a 12 oz shake, like a milkshake, without caffeine. It's chocolaty with whip cream and chocolate drizzle. Mmmm. I love the Green Emerald City. My birthstone. Also my favorite drink. 24 oz $8. The service is fantastic. The lines can be long but the go pretty quick. The team there works very hard. If you don't know what you want just ask. They're super creative and they know their product very very well. It's impressive. Drive through only. There are no places to sit, even outside, however there are nice parks nearby within a few blocks to visit or destinations farther east like bright water nature park. Love both this location and the main Mercury's in Bellevue. The drinks are consistently amazing, the baked goods are delicious, and the baristas are fun and friendly. So pleased with our first visit here! There's always a line when I've driven by, so I figured, must be good, right? Typically, I'm around when I'm busy or just not in the mood for coffee, so I've put off trying it. When I do want coffee, there are at least three Starbucks and several different shops closer to home, so I've just put it off. Now, I'm wishing I hadn't. It wasn't until a few days ago, scrolling through Uber Eats on my day off, that I even know how much food they have! I mentioned this to my boyfriend and he offered to pick it up for breakfast the next day. He knows what I like, so I said surprise me. I was so thrilled with everything they delivered. The coffees? Fantastic. Almond Croissant? Bigger than you'll get elsewhere and whatever the glaze was seeps into the whole thing. Delicious. Sausage Sandwich? They make it there, so I can order it without egg and cheese, unlike many quick coffee stands Blueberry Fritter? Amazing, love that they have a fun variation on a classic. All locations just like this one are excellent. Staff are always kind and drinks as well as food are just pristine. I enjoy getting coffee as well as the Pom tea from here which just taste so great. I don't know how they make a non coffee drinker drink coffee but their drinks are just so good. This is always my go to place for drinks. read more

Mercurys is my favorite local coffee chain. The line at this location gets long but always moves fast so don't be deterred by it. I am here almost every morning as it is convenient to where I drop off my child. The drinks are consistently good (iced blonde Hawaiian with oat milk is my fave) and they give you free chocolate coffee beans when you check out for an extra little treat. They have a great points system (I get $ taken off my drink literally every order) and often run specials for free drinks when you refill your card/buy gift cards. I know they have a heavy east side presence, but I am hoping they expand in other areas so I can get my fix even more often. They also need another dine-in location like their Bellevue flagship. The lunch food and pastries there are great! UW Bothell could use something like this nearby, hint hint. read more

I love coming to Mercury's whenever I'm craving a coffee or tea! I don't usually order coffee often but whenever I do, I'll order an iced white chocolate mocha with a dash of cinnamon! Otherwise a matcha latte is my go-to :) or a chai. The baristas are always so sweet whenever I come by and it's nice how they'll come to your car and ask for your order ahead of time. First visit since their soft open. This location has definitely figured things out. Our order was taken prior to arriving at the second window. If you're unfamiliar with Mercurys: most are drive-thru locations (except for the roastery/sit-down with an expanded menu in Bellevue, Woodinville kiosk inside Haggens, and Redmond location) which have a staff person walk up with a handheld device that lets your order, pay, and tip. I frankly love this, it expedites the order and helps them work through the queue of cars. As of this review, the do not have cold brews yet but offer an assortment of "typical drinks" (lattes, americanos, drip coffee, chai), their signature menu (bee's knees, caramel silk, etc), and some energy drink mixers. I think they also offer food but this isn't posted on any menu boards when you drive up. Overall, my drink was delicious and service was excellent. I'll be back! read more

We used to stop at a few other places that shall not be named, now just Mercury. My go to drink is the Desert Fire. It is straight up FIRE. Waited forever for this place to open after the old coffee stand shut down, so I was excited to try it! About the only nice thing I can say is the location is super convenient and the baristas were friendly. The quality of the drinks leaves me wanting though (and that's the most important part to me). I got a latte and a chai latte. The latte was just meh. Maybe it was burnt or the coffee they use just had a flavor I don't like? I couldn't pinpoint what was wrong with it. The chai was terrible. It had this syrupy sweet and fake creamer flavor. Super bummed that this convenient spot no longer works for me. I'll be going out of my way to some of the better spots around town. Staff at this location are inconsistent with charges. I order the same thing every time early AM, size and everything, and one day they'll charge me $5.81 for my drink, then the very next day it's $6.46. I pointed this out to two baristas , in which one told me it was a mistake charging me the extra cents, then recently another has told me it was intentional. If they're doing this to me, I'm sure many other customers are experiencing the same and have been charged incorrectly because staff at this branch aren't consistent with ringing up customers and can't accept their mistakes. I've been to other branches and never experienced this issue. Again, horrible communication between staff and how to serve customers. read more

Something has to be pretty bad for me to write a negative review, but I have to say that I cannot believe how expensive this shop is! The drink was $5.16 with tax and it's 2/3 hot water! I called the shop, and the gal was really nice and informed me that they automatically charge for an extra third shot. Well, I did not order 3 shots. Also, the drink was so hot; I could hardly hold it long enough to get it into the car and could not drink any for at least 20 minutes. Needless to say, the shot was burnt to a crisp.
