It's in the parking lot of a church with the same name, assuming due to affiliation. Some slow older women were working, again probably affiliated with the church. They even had bible verses on the cups. Around 9:30am on a Sunday they were out of a handful of food items, likely due to morning church crowds. So, we each had to go with our second choice of bagels, which weren't even close to being toasted enough. It was like they just warmed them in a microwave. They were surprised when we wanted coffee in the frappes, which was real odd.

Drink was made perfectly and was super yummy. Only confusing thing was on my receipt I noticed a $0.60 cent cup fee. I didn't know about this, if I return I will bring my personal cup but wish they had a sign or encourage customers verbally to bring our own cups in because I'm not sure if they let you. Some places allow personal cups some don't so I'll have to ask if I return when I'm in the area. Also noticed a card fee so I'll try to remember if I return to bring cash.. My drink was still so good and service was great so besides those charges no complaints. Would recommend and would return :)

No apology, no attempt to actually provide decent customer service--just attitude. And somehow, after she "remade" them, BOTH DRINKS STILL TASTED LIKE THE WRONG FLAVORS. So I paid $15, had my order made incorrectly twice, and got treated like I was the problem for pointing it out. If you're going to charge $15 for two drinks, you should probably be able to make the drinks correctly. And if you screw up someone's order, the least you can do is fix it without treating them like absolute shit. $15 wasted, drinks still wrong, and customer service was somehow even worse than the drinks. Never again.

It's in a convenient location and has plenty of space for pulling into the parking lot and you can easily get off and back on Bothell Way. They have an impressive selection for both drinks and snacks here. There are sweet and savory items and even a couple of gluten free options! I noted a gf cookie and bobo granola bars. I was ordering drinks for myself and a couple other lovely ladies in the office and one of the drink requests was something different than what they had. The barista was great at making recommendations for alternatives that would be similar and I trusted her judgement. It apparently was delicious and so much so that my coworker made it a point to tell me a second time how good her drink had been. For the coffee hounds among us, they have a punch card getting you a free beverage after you complete the card. Lucky for me I was there on a Tuesday and Tuesday is double punch day..cha ching! It does the three things I care about most in a coffee shop well: good coffee, a space you actually want to spend time in, and consistently good service. Food & Drink: The coffee is legitimately good--not great, but good. They pull a good espresso shot and are solid across the espresso drinks. "The Local" is my go-to--a latte lightly sweetened with maple syrup from Woodinville Whiskey. It adds enough sweetness to be interesting without overwhelming the coffee. They also have a good selection of milk options and some seasonal/unusual rotating items (Blueberry Pancake Cold Brew happened to be on the menu recently). They don't, however, have a wide variety of straight black coffee options. Both the quality and variety of the pastries are high, with a few gluten-free options as well. I particularly like the savory scones. They also carry some useful non-pastry items like yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, and string cheese. Pricing leans moderate to high, although that's pretty traditional for Woodinville. Ambiance & Service: This may be where Sidekick separates itself most. Lots of windows and natural light, plenty of room, and a good variety of seating with sofas, chairs, high tops, and tables. There is also substantial outdoor seating during the summer. It's a welcoming area. There is even a "walk-up" outdoor window for ordering. Noise level is moderate. You can comfortably work here, although I wouldn't try to take a call. Outlets are available along the exterior wall seating. Service has consistently been very good. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and does a good job with the drinks. It feels like a place that is well run rather than simply a nice space with good coffee. The biggest weakness is parking. There is street parking and some garage parking, but parking is problematic in general. Construction throughout 2025 and 2026 has made an already challenging situation noticeably worse. Final Thoughts: Four stars. Sidekick is my favorite coffee shop in Bothell/Woodinville and firmly in my top tier for the broader area. The combination of good espresso, high-quality pastries, very good service, and one of the better coffee shop spaces around makes it an easy place to want to return to, even if the parking makes it difficult. -AC

After confirming they had sugar-free white chocolate, I ordered a 24oz hot Americano with sugar-free white chocolate and an Italian soda. There was a small mix-up at first when I was handed what appeared to be an iced coffee (and possibly a smaller size). As I mentioned it was supposed to be hot, the barista realized the mistake and immediately remade the drink. Mistakes happen -- I completely understand that. However, I very clearly confirmed multiple times that the drink was sugar-free. When I handed the receipt clipboard back, I reiterated again that it needed to be sugar-free because my partner is diabetic. I was assured by the gals that it absolutely was. Unfortunately, it was definitely not sugar-free. My partner's blood sugar has been extremely elevated all day (in the 350s, even 8-9 hours later). Thankfully he was able to manage it, but he has felt terrible and this could have been a very dangerous situation. I will say that he staff were kind and polite, and this review isn't about their demeanor at all. But when it comes to dietary restrictions -- especially medical conditions like diabetes -- accuracy is critical. I repeated the request multiple times specifically to avoid this exact situation. I truly hope this is taken as constructive feedback so extra care can be given in the future when handling sugar-free or allergy-related orders.
