I have had this coffee shop bookmarked on yelp for awhile now. Today, I finally got to try it and was very happy with our experience. We did not go inside, but used the ever convenient drive thru option. I love that a smaller coffee chain has that as an option, by the way. The sizes are different types of trees (cedar, redwood, etc.) and I just love that. The offerings are not extensive but I think a nice selection still. This is something I prefer, as the smaller the menu the more perfected individual drinks tend to be. Hubby got an iced vanilla latte and I got an iced chai with almond milk. The flavor of the coffee was great. Nice and rich, with more of a mellow flavor than your caramely/smoked flavor of a starbucks espresso. It paired well with the vanilla. My chai was good... had nice spice but tasted too "juicy" or watery for my liking. It's hard to explain. It tasted super similar to like an Oregon chai concentrate from the store. We shared a pumpkin cream cheese loaf and it was AMAZING. Absolutely delicious, and I am so glad we got just one to share because my goodness, I could've eaten three of those things myself ;p Staff were so nice and helpful, and the price was very fair, I think. We visited Woods 3 times during our 4 day trip! The staff were wonderful and the coffee superb! We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of sitting by the fire enjoying coffee and egg bites! read more

Service is focused on drive through, so beware if you go inside. I had to wait before anyone would take my order. In addition, even though I ordered drip coffee, I had to wait 15 minutes behind all the lattes and frozen drinks before anyone would just pour coffee in a cup. At least Starbucks gets that part right. read more

It's a pretty average coffee place, and honestly for me it is on the same level as fancy (interior-wise) Starbucks. I bought a blended drink and ended up paying over $6 (!). It is definitely worth it for the aesthetics, and the vibe inside provides a nice study place. I would not, however, come here regularly because my wallet and sugar levels could not handle it. But I would come to sit inside for the cabin/family atmosphere. The employees were very nice and friendly. I will most likely be back within two months. read more

A huge thank you to Yelp and Woods Coffee for my free strawberry smoothie! I love being a Yelp Elite! That being said, I really liked this place. I used to live in Bothell, but now that I moved to Lynnwood, this place was a bit of a drive. However, it was worth it and I really enjoyed it. I got a strawberry smoothie and a grilled cheese. The sandwich was kind of pricey and I really wanted a ham and cheese croissant, but was told they were out of those. But since the smoothie was free and the service was great, I was totally okay with that! Staff was really nice and it wasn't too busy so I got my food and drink quickly. There is a Woods Coffee in Everett which is a lot closer to me, but it's only a drive thru. I would probably go there more often, but I will remember this location if I'm in the area again. There are lots of spaces to sit and drink and a huge window that looks out on the trees. Really nice. It was kind of busy today (Sunday) but that's to be expected. My first time to Woods Coffee and I can't believe I haven't been here before. They have a drive thru, I came at noon and they were very fast. I ordered the avalanche drink and it was so delicious! I love caramel coffee drinks and I loved that this was a little different with the coconut added. I will definitely be coming back for another avalanche soon. read more

Ordered the cold white mocha with whipped cream, drink was good. Place is very clean and welcoming but I do have to say that my interaction with the barista that took my order made an offhand comment regarding me as I got my order and exited. She had told another employee on shift that by quote "I don't like it when people like take so long like that". I was the only person in line and had tried Woods Coffee for the first time on 3/13 at around 11:25am. I believe this was referring to the fact I took maybe a minute and a half to look at the various togo foods and drinks they had situated beside the front counter. I know we're all human but in my perspective it came off as hurtful. The fact that I tipped before having my drink made was what made the interaction seem unfair in addition. I go to campus at Bothell so this took place right in the middle of finals week for many students like myself. I also work in food/customer service so I completely understand that the job can be stressful at times. read more

My favorite cozy coffee spot! Woods has a lot of GF breakfast options- egg bites and multiple breakfast sandwiches all which are really tasty. Stopped by this morning for the Yelp event and came away and ended up buying a mug from their merch shelf. I never would've guessed from the outside that the inside is so spacious, with high ceilings and lots of seating. I thought the inside was really cute and welcoming and I'd definitely hang out there if I was studying or working remotely. Location also has lots of parking which is always a plus! The staff seemed a little stressed/standoffish this morning. It didn't seem all that busy so I was disappointed that the staff wasn't warmer but perhaps they just got through a super busy rush? Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt since normally woods staff are so great. I ordered a salted caramel oat milk latte at the recommendation of the cashier. It was tasty but a bit sweet. Great coffee when you need it. Our service was good, not great, the barista was busy chatting with her coworkers while trying to deal with our order. The area around the shop needs some cleaning, landscaping, and pick-up. We prefer having coffee at a local coffee shop than an international coffee giant, but we would hope Woods will try harder with customer service, not making us feel like we were there interrupting your staff while they were definitely talking about their personal lives and gossip. read more

Went through the drive thru with a few friends yesterday morning. We all got coffees and the breakfast burritos. The coffee was delicious, I got a seasonal cinnamon and brown sugar latte. What stood out to me was the food and drinks were really hot and stayed hot until we got home. I loved that because I feel like normally if I get coffee somewhere it never is quite hot enough. They also have the cutest puppuccinos! They give whipped cream and a tiny dog bone. Definitely a fun place to stop by! read more

I used to love this place but I've had my orders messed up at least 4 times now. I love coming here to study and get a snack and a drink but it's hard to want to keep coming back when I give very clear instructions that aren't made. Today, I asked for cream in my Italian soda and it came out with no cream. Then I asked for the cream and they put so much cream in that it doesn't taste like anything but fizzy cream. I even used the gift card they gave me from the last time they messed up my order! Very disappointing :( read more

This coffee shop has delicious coffee and great fall drink/food selections. I ordered the brown sugar cinnamon latte and it was delicious! Strong coffee taste and not too sweet, just how we like it. We also ordered the sausage & egg biscuit sandwich & pumpkin loaf. Both great choices and the pumpkin loaf was so moist and not an overpowering taste of pumpkin. I took a star off on their prices, definitely more on the higher end. Overall a great place and awesome change-up from Starbucks in every corner lol. read more

Today I visited this location and ordered a drink for myself and my daughter. They got my order right, but my daughter's drink was iced when it should have been hot. They quickly apologized, made her a hot drink, and gave her a gift card so that her next drink would be on the house. So glad to see a Woods coffee location on Bothell Everett Hwy. Tired of the crappy burnt coffee at Starbucks? Well then try the local woods coffee! This location is spacious with beautiful interior and lots of seating area. I ordered the cold brew and it was smooth and flavorful as expected! This is a must stop for coffee and you don't have to drive North to Bellingham or south to Bellevue to try this coffee. So glad they opened a location here. They have a decent number of bakery items but the key is the quick service and flavorful coffee here. read more

I was in dire need of espresso beans and on my way to Lynnwood, so thought I'd try something new. I stopped by Woods. Never been to a Woods before. I was a little excited. The whole espresso beans had a labeled roast date, within the past 10 days, which is good enough (5 days would be better), so I was in. The next morning I made espresso and the crema was excellent, and the flavor was... good but not great. Just lacking compared to my standbys, Rococo and Herkimer, and honestly not quite as good as Ladro Flagship which I could have picked up in the same neighborhood. Were that it I'd give Woods 3 stars, maybe 3.5. But... the beans were $15.99 PLUS TAX, so $17.59, per pound. So the price is sorta high before tax but very high after. And they should not be charging sales tax. Whole beans are not prepared food, and no other coffee shop I've been to charges tax for beans (yes they should be charging tax for food and prepared coffee drinks). When I asked about this at the counter, the cashier said "oh no, that's not sales tax, that's 'Bothell' tax." Sigh. Anyway if they stop charging tax for beans I'll put them back up to 3 stars. read more

This place was pretty good and seemed quite popular. The drive thru was easy, but a bit hidden. There were plenty of menus posted but they didn't show what flavorings and milk alternatives there were. The prices for add ins were not shown as well. Other than that there was an extensive selection of coffee drinks and unique seasonal drinks. The size names were also named after trees which we thought was pretty cool and on theme. The prices were a tad steep, but the quality was there. Speed wise, despite there being quite a line, it was very fast. It's worth coming here every once in a while when in the mood for a sweet, well made coffee, but probably not for an everyday drink. read more
