Wood Ranch Burbank never misses. The food is consistently delicious, perfectly cooked meats, great portions, and everything comes out hot and fresh. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. A reliable spot whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout. Definitely coming back. read more

We came with a party of 15 for a birthday and our server, Baila, was so attentive and did a great job taking care of all of us. It can get hectic with such a large party but she did an amazing job and didn't mess up any orders. The customer service was amazing!! read more

Service was great. Hosts were polite and our service was very patient with our large needy party. Food was terrible. Their ranch was literally white water, absolutely no flavor on any of the meats. Even the max n cheese was bland. How do you mess that up? Never going back. Made me miss Elephant Bar. read more

Nice ambiance, but not the best value nor best food in Burbank. I have eaten here a couple of times and the service is good, but the food always seems heavy to me. That said, it is definitely not terrible - just not my favorite. I suppose I will probably come back because I have a family member who absolutely loves this place. Hey, maybe they should be writing this review! read more

We love coming to the Burbank Wood Ranch, and this visit reminded us exactly why! The food was great, but the service truly stole the show. Our waiter, Dakare, provided exceptional service as always--attentive, friendly, and professional. Additionally, the hostess was so sweet and welcoming to my in-laws, which made our family dinner extra special. Outstanding hospitality all around! read more

Whether in the restaurant or catered for a party, Wood Ranch is always a hit. The catered food arrives to your door hot and on time and is set-up quickly and quietly by the server. Ordering for the catering is easy and both Jake and Anthony were friendly and wonderful to work with. I will continue to use WR for my future parties! read more

I've been here just once. THAT WAS AMAZING!!! just a random Saturday, my husband and I wanted to eat out. just went there without reservation, the host was a nice girl, she said that the wait time would be like 40 minutes and after 20 minutes we got a table. I don't remember the waitress's name but she was very nice and helpful. it was GREAT service. the food was ... i can't explain. you just need to go there and try. after experiencing such an amazing place, service, and food, we were expecting a check of around $200 and guess what? it was even less than $100. JUST GO AND THANK ME LATER! read more

I used to live here in Burbank and was a regular visitor to this place...think of it as an upper end Black Angus -- which is actually just down the street. Had a chance to stop in recently and not much has changed...still quite tasty. The food is here is good...but the tri tip IMHO is the bomb. Tri tip is tough to find outside of California...and they do it well here. My meal this evening was a bbq chopped salad with tri tip -- a lovely experience. My only gripe is the amount of meat on the salad...if you are hungry you might want to double up on the meat. But nice decor, ambience and bar...solid dining option when you find yourself in beautiful downtown Burbank! read more

What makes Wood Ranch so special isn't the great food or the family friendly atmosphere. It's the service! Anna B was our server and she made us feel super welcome and made our night special. Thanks Anna B for taking care of us! She should get a raise! read more

We came here and asked for a table of 5 with a stroller, took 40 minutes just to find a table, when we went to a table it had a leak from the ac. We decided to leave but we always know the food is always great but the service isn't always. As example by this place read more

I can't describe the level of service and hospitality the waiter (Sunny ) has provided for us . Garlic bread and Mac and cheese is amazing and a must try out item. Meat is great too. read more

I love this place. The food is very tasty and the atmosphere is cozy. the service is also good

Good service and aesthetically pleasing, but that's as far as it goes. We ordered three BBQ combos and personally was not impressed. Ribs tasted like they were cooked in an oven and then had a press put on them for looks. Brisket was fall apart, but overcooked and dry. Tri tip was surprisingly decent. The mac and cheese tasted like Velveeta. What bothered me the most was I specifically asked if the lemonade was freshly squeezed considering they charge more for, the waitress said yes, but it definitely was not. You can tell it's made from a base product. Overall, it's a beautiful joint, but would most likely not return. read more

We just had an incredible experience at Wood Ranch mainly due to the best waitress we have ever had at any restaurant ever. Thank you so much Baila for bringing a ray of sunshine to our 88 year old grandma as well as to us! We honestly have never met a waiter/waitress anywhere close to the service you provided. I feel bad for the next place we eat at because we will be comparing it to the impeccable service we received tonight. We appreciate all the extra effort on going above and beyond to make it a memorable dinner. read more

Brisket was moist and delicious, I like they serve with some jus sauce for more moistness. Jus not fake salty broth like some others. was hoping for more smokiness though. Beef ribs were meaty, love me some beef ribs. Their Dr Pepper so fresh and bubbly with that satisfying bubbly tingle on my tongue, hate those flat sodas from elsewhere. I went with 1/2 & 1/2 Diet Coke/Dr Pepper, waiter super accommodating and attentive. Garlic rolls are delicious. read more

Got carry out from here at the request of a customer. Put the order in at 9 AM for an 1130 pick up. At 11:40 they're trying to unpack the bags they just packed to confirm my order. I walked out and said I don't have time because it was supposed to be ready to go 10 minutes ago. There was no silverware no napkins. I was feeding 15 people. I'm not sure about everyone else else's food but I got the brisket and half of the "meat" in the container was just chunks of fat had an overwhelming taste of pepper Even tipped them $10 with the online order. This is why I don't tip at the beginning. Because I would've never tipped after that scenario read more

Everything was honestly so good. The food, the vibe, all of it. Everyone was really nice, but our server Baila stood out the most. She had that best friend energy super sweet, easy to talk to, and just made us feel really comfortable. She made the whole experience way better. Definitely coming back. read more

Have been here twice now and the service has been great both times, servers were very attentive to a large party and good came out fast. First visit I ordered the Tri Tip, but I wasn't impressed, a little overcooked and under seasoned. Second trip I was told to get the ribs and that was better, good for restaurant ribs, but nothing like a smokehouse rib. It's overall a good mid tier lunch spot. read more

What a wonderful place that I am surprised I've never been to before today. We had the best night. Great food, delicious drinks and got to watch the 49ers play on the screens. What a wonderful experience every time I've been to a wood ranch! They have 50% off on all wines every Tuesday, which is a fantastic deal! It's a very beautiful comfortable restaurant with very helpful staff. Tyler took really good care of us! Eric was very helpful as well. We shared the crispy buffalo cauliflower with crumbled blue cheese on it and it was spectacular. Nice and crispy and flavorful! Then I had a chicken Caesar salad salad with the grilled chicken and I must say, that is probably the best Caesar I have ever had! The chicken was flavored so beautifully and super tender! I couldn't get enough of it. Nice smoky flavor. He had the chicken burger which he said was very tasty. They have two nice big pretty outdoor patios as well. I highly recommend these restaurants! read more

Been here a few times and had great experiences each time. They have a really nice patio with large tables that can accomodate 9 people which was great, especially during the pandemic. The inside is really nice and quiet as well. My last visit, though, was extraordinary. Our server Dakare was a superstar, one of those mind-reading servers that know when you need them and also are respectful of your group's personal time (for example, he noticed we were into something and just quietly put the boxed leftovers on our table to the point we didn't even know he had come by). Super intuitive, funny, made us feel right at home. Thank you, Dakare! Also my tri-tip was the perfect amount of fat to meat and cooked to a medium-rare the way I like it, so easy to cut through. Yum!! I think the roasted broccoli is also one of their best sides. Parking was a little crazy, the adjacent garage was full but at least there is another garage across the street. All free! read more

Great date spot for BBQ, the lighting and decor inside and outside set a certain mood. The hospitality was on top of everything ; from the accommodating host to our great server Michael, our night was amazing. He made great recommendations and brought us everything on time. The food was so tasty; we tried the BBQ Combo which allows you to select two proteins. I went with the baby back ribs and the beef ribs, they were heaven. I got one pair with cherry chipotle bbq, with just the right amount of kick. My wife got the tri tip steak, I was cooked so well. The only thing that was regular was the loaded mash potatoes. They were just regular, but the baked beans were so tasty. Our daughter got the Classic Burger, her meat was so moist and well cooked. Will def come another night for another night of bbq. read more

Stopped by for the first time before a movie on a busy Friday night and was pleasantly surprised. Our server, Harrison, skillfully guided us through the menus, sharing his favorites, tips, and tricks (save a roll for when you get some bbq sauce so you can dip it ;) ). Got a combo plate with beef and spare ribs, everything was delicious. Myriad parking garages in the immediate vicinity. Had a great experience overall but the shining star was Harrison's personability, friendliness, knowledge of the menu, and prompt attention to all of our needs. Wood ranch will surely be our go to when we're in the area. read more

We were in the area and wanted to try a new spot. We checked yelp and decided on Wood Ranch. I'm so glad we did. It was exactly what we were wanting. It's a little darker inside which is perfect for a date night. The tables were full and it looked like everyone was having a good time. The service was amazing. Couldn't have been any better. Our server was kind and helpful and had so many recommendations. She loved her job. She told us she's been there for a while and was getting ready to open a new location with them. I got the ribs with broccoli and corn. The ribs were cooked to perfection and melted off the bone. The sides were the sides, done well but not the show stopper. After we shared the butter cake and it was amazing! I would go back just to eat that cake again! read more

Came here because I had been craving BBQ and it was my birthday! I had actually come here with my family back in the summer for Father's day and remembered that the food was pretty good, so I was pretty excited! We came around 2-3 pm. Service was great; I love how our server was very courteous and was attentive to refilling our beverages without having to be flagged down. As for the food, first of all, their complementary garlic rolls are amazing! We ordered 3 entrees to split between two of us. We got the baby back ribs, the beef ribs, as well as the brisket. All of the meats were pretty good and has the same BBQ sauce so its hard to say which one was the "best". It just depends on what kind of texture you like! My reasoning for subtracting 1 star is that it is a bit pricey and each entree only comes with one side now. Moreover, the sides were not that great. We had the BBQ beans which tasted like standard canned ones lol, the mashed potatoes which were somehow dry?, and the mac n cheese which was OK if you're in the mood for that gooey velveeta type of style. Overall, the meat is pretty good, but without good sides, it makes it a little harder for me to enjoy. read more

Visited Wood Ranch on Dec 17th. We got here right when they opened. They have reserved parking spots in the rear parking garage which was very convenient. We had to wait for about 10 minutes because their servers hadn't arrived yet. The restaurant had a really nice bar, and it was very spacious. Had a lot of seating, and it is perfect for large parties. Once we were seated, everything went smoothly. Our drinks were taken, and we ordered the Arnold Palmer, and that was one of the best ones I've ever had. Food (5/5): Free Garlic Bread: this bread was so addicting, and I needed them to take it away from me. We ended up finishing two baskets of bread. I highly recommend dipping them in balsamic vinegar and olive oil; you won't regret it. Spinach and Artichoke: This appetizer was also very good and very appetizing. The chips were freshly made and were very warm. Blackened Salmon- Who orders fish at a BBQ place, me, that's who. I am not a big BBQ person, but my bf is, so why not try it out. The salmon was cooked well and to my liking. I definitely enjoyed it, and even after eating so much bread and appetizers, I actually finished my entree. Beef Ribs- The beef ribs were really good and it was a really good portion. Next time, we would probably ask for the sauce on the side because the rib had a lot of sauce on it. It was too much for our liking. Mac and Cheese- This was too cheesy for me and my boyfriend. We did not finish it. Our server did give us a different veggie side because the mac and cheese was just too much, and I really appreciated that. I'm glad we tried this place out. Their food was really good, and their customer service was on point. I will definitely recommend this place, especially for large parties. read more
