We were charged $30 per person, which felt very reasonable given current California pricing. Pickup was smooth and well organized. We ordered a variety of items including pork and beef ribs, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw--everything was flavorful and well prepared, and the food was a hit with the entire group. The staff was a pleasure to work with--friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. It also felt good supporting what appears to be a small business that clearly takes pride in both its food and customer service. I came out here ostensibly after a search on Yelp for somewhere nearby after a visit to the Warner Bros Studio Tour with a friend of mine and wanted BBQ. Ribs Plate Combo with mac and cheese and cornbread for my sides. The ribs were almost falling off the bone but still with a bit of chew on it, which I appreciated because I don't like mushy meat. The sauce was tangy and sticky and not too vinegary. Good stuff, but couldn't finish so it came home with me. The big surprise was the cornbread. Most BBQ places concentrate on the meat and leave the sides as afterthoughts so that means cornbreads tend to be disappointingly dry. Not this one. This cornbread was moist and flavorful. The mac and cheese was just okay. Should have gone with the beans. My dining companion and I also got to sample some sliders and they were pretty damn good. Wish those had been on the menu. Service was good although, most people were taking their food to go. The atmosphere inside was warm for a cool day and almost too warm as my companion had to shed her jacket before we started eating so she wouldn't overheat. Not sure I'd be able eat inside on a hot summer day. They do cater and parking is street and a miniscule parking in the back. I believe it's only credit/debit only, but check first. Literally hidden in plain sight, and not where I originally thought it was located, but I found it because I was on a mission! Upon entering the establishment, the ambience of the place embraces you as a guest. Small, but nicely decorates and with good music playing. It's a very comfortable environment for enjoying this stellar barbecue and sides. Smaller menu, but it's really all you need, especially when you do the one thing you do really well. Mashed potatoes are authentic handmade mashed potatoes with the taste of home. BBQ was perfect and tender and TASTY. Interesting name for a rib joint. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the ribs were tasty. Ordered a 5 bone pork ribs plate with Mac and cheese, and slaw. The meat off the bones just slid off the bone. Ordered the ribs dry with the bbq sauce on the side. Personally, if you can eat the ribs without sauce then you know it's good. This was just that - no sauce needed for me. I really love their ribs, probably my favorite in Los Angeles. Everything I've had here is awesome... ribs on everything!!! You can typically find a metered parking spot out front. I usually grab it to go, but they have seating inside (5 or 6 tables). They have music on, but it's not too loud. They aren't open on Mondays, which is the day that I'm typically in Burbank, but this is one of my favorite spots to go to when I'm on that side of town. read more

Been around a year since my previous review so I gave this place another handful of tries. I ordered a full rack of Beef Ribs each time from Uber Eats. It was much better but still a far cry from what it had been during Covid. I think you really need to get the "X" level of hotness to get the most of these ribs. Clean inside and out with a play on words as a name of their business. I was greeted right away and the employee made eye contact and knew the menu. He offered me suggestions on the level of meat. I chose medium for one and for another item it was hot. The tortilla taco I didn't eat because I was full but I did eat the meat (no cheese) and it's good. I love the decoration and the theme they have inside. It's fun and interesting spot to go to. We had just complete the Warner Bros Studio tour and wanted to grab a late lunch. This place didn't disappoint. My friend had the rib plate and I had the rib sandwich combo. We both got Mac & cheese and cornbread as sides. The meat was tender and flavorful. My friend said the ribs fell off the bone. Cornbread was soft and not dry, almost cake like. Great local neighborhood bbq spot but I wouldn't drive 1 hour for. I thought the coleslaw was pretty good with an acidic dressing which I prefer over the creamier one. The Mac and cheese tastes floury and it wasn't not my favorite. The brisket sandwich was really great. I love the sweet smokiness of the brisket and how it was tender and had a bit of chew at the same time. However the portion size was pretty small for 20 dollars. I've been to other bbq places offering bigger portions of sides and meats. I also got mild heat but I think their sauce is more on the sweeter side and I would recommend getting at least medium since I thought the mild had 0 heat. I will say, however, the Rage Against the Machine play on words ends with the name and a tiny picture of the singer & guitarist inside. However, that doesn't change the fact that they put out a delicious product. I really wanted to taste everything, but instead opted for the rib sandwich (with beef at the employees' recommendations) with a side of fries and slaw. I will say right off the bat, if you don't like vinegar, don't get the slaw. It was way too vinegar forward for my taste. But if that's your thing, go for it. The sandwich though? Delicious. The sauce definitely masked any taste of the meat, but the meat was tender and melt in your mouth soft. You could see them pull out 3 big beef ribs, strip off the meat, and throw it in the sandwich. It was that fresh. Once I devoured the sandwich, I had to see what the pork tasted like so I opted for a single pork taco. Honestly, I think I preferred the pork to the beef (once again, I still think the beef was delicious). The flavor of the pork definitely still shined even with the sauces on the taco. And the amount of pork was very generous. They're absolutely not skimping on meat here. The employees were very friendly. Not overly chatty, but offered good suggestions, checked in on me, and made sure my short visit there was a good one. In all, this was an absolutely delicious meal. The house sauce was not for me. The mashed potatoes do not come with gravy. The staff was nice, but I'm not sure if the cornbread and ribs were cooked long enough.
