I think their breakfast is their strong suite since this was my parents first visit for dinner, which they found disappointing in comparison. They ordered the Country Fried Steak with a gravy so dark and thick it looked exactly like a chocolate sauce. They also found it too salty. And their baked potato was overcooked. More evidence for the breakfast argument came from my wife, whose omelette was delicious. And she said the sliced tomatoes she had for her side were very tasty, even though it was the middle of January. I had a bacon cheese burger with fries, and they were tasty. Although they did not sit well with me later in the day. The bun used was a hoagie roll, but their 1/2 burger is oval in shape, so it really works out well. The roll was soft, so I didn't have an issue with the contents slipping out as can happen with harder breads. There are limited condiments available for their burgers, but they covered all the basics and I had a dill pickle spear to compensate for the lack of pickles for the burger. The fries were hot and crispy and the service was good, keeping all of our drinks refilled. The menu seems to have a good variety, so I'd be willing to come back. But my parents will probably be sticking to breakfast as they'd not been disappointed with those offerings. read more

Got a couple referrals about this place, all were positive so we had to make the stop! Apparently word is out about the food here, the place was packed. To start with, the Service did not suffer from the abundance of customers. Once the hostess sat us, Shanen and I had 3 flybys of servers to make sure we had Sri is, they were topped off and if we had any questions, all while they gave copious amounts of attention to their assigned tables. It really felt friendly and just made us feel Happy! You could say they Served typical diner food, but that would not truly paint the right picture. The little salad was fresh and set the tone for lunch. I went with the grilled pork chops with mashed potatoes, it was a good choice. Now I see why the salad was what I called little, I needed room for those delicious potatoes. Hahahaha Shanen was to busy enjoying her lunch to even mess with FB!! There is a good variety to choose from but not so much that you have to worry about everything being premade. It is a bright and cheerful place, even the other customers help making it pleasant. I had driven past this restaurant hundreds of times and often it seemed busy so I thought I would give it a try. I even said that to the hostess when I walked in. I wish I kept driving by and will from now on. The hash Browns had a weird color to them and were greasy and when I told my waitress I didn't like them she immediately took it off my check as if she was expecting me not to like them. Horrible!!! did take -out offered ordered 1 lousy salad &thats what i got,they missed up put dressing on salad,i checked before leaving parking lot,went back in they made another,checked in parking lot AGAIN no grated cheese on ceasar ,called this time was told to come in AGAIN for them to fix or refund.I told cashier i should not have to go in 3 xs to get a small order correct.I recieved a small container of romaine lettuce only ----cost$5.00 and a headache!!No apology was given me although i heard the časher apologize to cook 1st time salad went back----Poor customer service!!!! read more

I was there and ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and asked for meatballs. When I got the spaghetti there was hardly any meat, if any, in the sauce. The waitress said that the meatballs were not ready. Why the heck did she bring out my order when I asked for meatballs and they were not ready, without coming and asking me if I still wanted the spaghetti? Why are they advertising spaghetti with MEAT SAUCE and have hardly any MEAT in it? I mean, you pay $8.00 for something that they claim has meat in it and it does NOT!!!! Buyer beware!!!! Very nice diner.Service was fast and friendly. I had the fish sandwich, which was hot and tasty, just caught in Lake Harris! Just kidding, but it was fresh! This is a real nice place to visit, especially with guests. Give them a try. Arrived at Wolfy's about 6:15 PM Tuesday evening to have their Tuesday special, meatloaf. We were told they had just run out which was disappointing. The restaurant is open until 8PM it seems like they should have enough to get through dinner time. My wife then ordered a taco salad and I ordered a turkey club sandwich. It was very busy but we noticed people who had been seated at the same time as us were served their meals while we were still waiting. I also saw one of these customers send his food back telling the waitress the food was still cold in the middle. My wife commented on the amount of meals we could see backed up in the kitchen waiting to be picked up and served. She also mentioned that what appeared to be a salad on the top shelf had been their for a while. She hoped it was not her taco salad as it would be getting soggy sitting there. The waitress did stop several times and tell us she was keeping an eye out for our food. During one of her stops at our table she mentioned that my wife's was ready she was just waiting on my order. My wife told her the salad would get soggy. The waitress said she would get the salad and sure enough she grabbed the salad that had been sitting there for close to 40 minutes. When she brought it we advised her we were leaving and not eating there. Her salad had been sitting there a long time and the location of my meal was still a mystery. We left at approximately 7:10PM without eating. We ended up at the drive through window at Mickey D's. read more

Great home cooked meals here. The menu is awesome with the many different choices they have along with their daily specials. The staff is wonderful, they make dining out an enjoyable time. No rushing here, no attitude, Just down home friendliness. The girls that work there are sweethearts. They always make sure everything is to your satisfaction, yet they don't hover. Well worth the time, good for a lunch date, dinner date, family meal out, a meeting with old friends, what ever suits your fancy. I always recommend them to new comers and to snow birds! Stopped in for a quick Dinner Bite decided to go to Wolfys . Parking lot was packed was kindly greeted upon entering . There are daily specials today's special **Thursdays was Pot Roast my sister wanted to order but they were out Maybe next time pretty clean environment . The kitchen is near the dining area so be prepared to talk loud . The Waitress was very nice noticed I had a stuffy nose offered me Hot Tea and I said yes it was very soothing and she made sure I always had a cup full. Dinner came within 25 minutes I had along with my sister the Fried Haddock sandwich (sis had the meal) it was a great portion size of fish and battered nicely . Husband had a burger it was just a good burger with lots of cheese and nephew had a hotdog with French fries that speaks for itself . Customer service when calling in a to go order is horrible. I've called in a to go order at least 3 times where I've always sat on hold for at least 5 minutes and they act like it's an inconvenience to them to take an order. Very unsatisfied. I think I'll take my business else where. read more

When we travel, we prefer to eat local. That choice failed us today. Not sure how they averaged 3.5 stars. Our food was burned (kilbasa special) and too salty (beef vegetable soup). Server, while pleasant, was very harried and couldn't do enough to make up for the bad food. We should have picked up on the hint when most patrons were eating breakfast at noon. I went there for the first time and did not know what to expect. it was loaded with senior seniors which is OK (I am not far behind) but it seemed like there was a lot of complaining going on. We got there after the rush but had to wait a long time for food. I got the Italian burger which was good but not what I expected. It was either an open or closed faced burger smothered in tomato sauce. There are many choices on the menu which tells me that they make a lot of things like a New Jersey Greek diner. Worst service. I understand it is a diner, but not everyone wants to be rushed. Server just kept coming up and interrupting our business meeting, another server reached over during our meeting to refill creamers, no trays being used -plates stacked on each other for table presentation. Terrible food, rude staff. Me and my family went dinner on 12/22/2018 on @ 5:00 pm. Mashed potatoes were rotten and hard like they were a week old. Turkey was thickly sliced processed deli meat. Gravy was cold and lumpy, stuffing was like so dry and hard as a rock. Waitress was very rude to us. She said once food is on the table you can't return it if there is something wrong with it. I never heard of such a thing. Why should I eat and pay for old rotten food. Evidently the waitress told the cook and he came to our table standing over me trying to intimidate me being very argumentative and causing a scene which made everyone very uncomfortable. Like we were the bad guys. He said there is nothing wrong with his food. He even admitted that the potatoes were a week old. This place is going down the tubes. I am a customer but evidently to them the customer is wrong. I would not recommend this place even to my dogs. Your better off going next door to McDonald's and have it your way. read more

If you are looking for small hometown American cooking you have found the right place. Great dinners I love the chicken pot pie, hot open face turkey, and the ham steak dinner. Can't beat the prices. Good service and if you plan on going back ask for the wolfy's card it cost you $5 and it saves you 10% off regular price items. The strawberry shortcake and the peanut butter pie are outstanding. The place was packed, if that is an indication as to the value, yet we got 12 people in and out quickly this week, several times, being golfers in from out of state. If you want perfect, go to Bob Evans and pay twice as much. Waffle House or Perkins also cost more and the service is not nearly as good. You are paying for good food (the French toast is really good), excellent service, fairly low cost for a classic diner.
