If you're ever find yourself in Leesburg (I never dreamed I would) and are in need of a down home no b.s. breakfast - Julia's is the place. It was a semi-cool (70deg) morning, and when I walked into Julia's the heat was on full blast. It was a comfy temperature once I took off my jacket. I ordered something simple while I waited for my co-worker to arrive. Two eggs sunny side up, grits and toast. The eggs were perfect, and the waitress never let my coffee get low. I'd definitely bring others to Julia's for breakfast, if I were ever in Leesburg for any other reason than something work related. The waitress working this day was very sweet and called everyone 'hon or darlin' and was a big hit with the senior citizens that were obviously regulars.

Small homestyle restaurant. Ordered breakfast and got a plateful! Waitress was attentive to our needs, checking on food quality and refilling coffee. And, she knew all her regulars. I would definitely come back!

Good breakfast. They stick to the key breakfast items and they don't skimp on the portions. French toast was delicious as well as the omelet. Good homestyle cooking while not offering anything fancy. Would return. And would recommend

All was very good. Only two drawbacks, not real butter, and had to butter toast which allows eggs to cool off.

They were able to put a fried egg on my avocado toast which really made my day This is more of a traditional breakfast place with excellent prices. I will go back.

It was Saturday morning and we were up early and decided to expand our search a few towns over to Leesburg. The reviews and menu looked great here so we took a drive. The dining room is small but didn't feel cramped, when we arrived a few tables were checking out so we only had to wait a few minutes to be seated. Everything had been decorated for Christmas and it was a nice touch that they even themed their menu to bring the winter vibes full circle. My fiancé and I both ordered an OJ and for my meal I chose the Winter Warm Up Casserole with cheese grits for my side and he got a half order of the biscuits &gravy and a side order of pancakes. The casserole was everything I wanted it to be and more! I'm not a big bacon person, but the cherrywood thick cut bacon was so delicious. My mouth is watering thinking about this now! My cheese grits were thick and creamy and perfectly cheesy. The biscuits and gravy were so good! Loaded with sausage and love. The pancakes were ok for me, my fiancé devoured them. The syrup had a nice vanilla flavor to it. Service was prompt and the food was out quickly. They had a tree up similar to an angel tree where you can choose a child to buy Christmas gifts for. We took one, and if there are more left when we come back we will probably grab another. What a great little spot in downtown Leesburg.

I'm not sure why it's at 3.9 stars but hopefully this will help push it over the top. It would be nice if they stayed open maybe an hour later but that just means you need to go to dinner by 6:30 or so. We tried to go on Friday night although they were booked, but they told us you can usually come in and sit at the bar without any problem and they also told us they would call us back if there was an opening. They did call us back, but by then we had made other plans. So we were able to get in there on Saturday night. It's a dark restaurant, but very nice and homey. We had a comfortable and private boost. Our server was very personable, upbeat and guided us through the menu and gave some suggestions. The Manhattan cocktail, which I asked for with a little less sweet vermouth, was just perfect. The fried green tomato Caprese was absolutely delicious. They use local suppliers for their produce, and I presume for their fish and meat as well. The Caprese had a locally produced mandarin orange oil in it that really made the dish pop. The cornmeal coating on the tomatoes was perfect and crunchy, and the dish had just the right amount of mozzarella. My wife is a vegetarian and had the grilled vegetables that were also perfectly cooked and delicious with some of that mandarin orange oil. Her mother had the Duroc pork chop, which was cooked very much to her liking, and she also quite enjoyed the sweet potato pancakes that came with the pork chop. I love shrimp and grits and was all set to order some but then I saw some of the other mains on the menu and that's why I have to go back because there was a bluefin tuna dish with fried fried oysters and there was another grilled shrimp dish that looked delicious. We saw the prime rib go by because that's the special on Saturday night and that looked great too. But ultimately I did go ahead and get the shrimp and grits. The chef is from South Carolina and he's rightfully proud of his shrimp and grits. Lots of great flavor. The grits are slightly al dente and flavored with a pimento cheese that is really nice and there were plenty of shrimp and some bacon jam and some other tasty tidbits in there. I just loved it. Some of the best shrimp and grits I've ever tasted. I asked the waitress waitress which wine she would recommend with that and she told me about their whites, but I'm not a Chardonnay person so she suggested their Pinot Noir which I never would've expected, but I had a glass of it and it went perfect perfectly with the food. We live in Los Angeles, but my wife's mother lives near Leesburg and we will definitely be back to Turner's next time we visit. I wish I took a picture of the food, but it looked so good, we couldn't wait and just dove in. Highly recommended.

The decor was nice, pretty dark, but had an open feel…read more Upon looking at the menu, I quickly realized that this menu was different from what I saw on Yelp. As a vegetarian and my wife being Gluten Free, we wondered what we would order. If we knew our friends better, we would have suggested going elsewhere, but did not say much. I saw that they have a side salad and wondered if they could make that into an entree portion for me. The very nice waitress came back with a resounding 'no', they could not accommodate. The menu was almost 100% meat or fish. There was one vegetarian plate, which was expensive and I could not see the value reflected in the rather large asking price. Instead, I ordered 3 sides, Brussel Sprouts, grits and sweet potatoes, each $5.00. They were all good with the exception of the Brussel Sprouts having a gas taste. So too much flame there. My wife eats meat and had the Prime Rib (first time in 20 years). She said it was good and it was $34. The Salmon was also $34. Our friends each had the blackened salmon and they were also $34. These came with 1 side. To us, we felt the food was overpriced. The mostly meat menu caters obviously to only meat eaters and the owner was not willing to make any changes as our friend wanted to leave the bacon oil out, and that didn't happen. I suppose they do not need our business and our friends felt the same way. Of course, after hearing such good things about the place, we were sorry we went there. Or course, if in the future the name of the restaurant comes up, we will share our experiences. Word of mouth advertising came be good or bad. Seemed like the waitress has had to give the 'no change' answer lots of times before. So, this was not our kind of restaurant as they didn't serve what we wanted. Oh well, we tried.
