When she delivered those items, we placed food orders and off Tammy went to get the process working. It was not more than 10 minutes that we waited, when the food was brought out to us. I had the biscuits and gravy with sausage mixed in to the gravy. One large biscuit split in two was in a large bowl and covered with tasty gravy. A side of twp eggs was also delivered or make a complete breakfast for me. My wife ordered the special of eggs, hash browns and toast including coffee was also delivered and it was all good. Reasonable prices for ample food is a plus going to this place. Tammy was friendly and engaging and came back for coffee refills and pleasantries.

The sushi was one of the stronger parts of the buffet. The Volcano Roll and Las Vegas Roll were both highlights and had good flavor. The hibachi station is also a nice addition, but the setup raised some cross-contamination concerns. I noticed guests using the same tongs around the raw chicken and shrimp, and some people placed utensils or items that had touched raw chicken directly onto plates containing noodles and other ready-to-eat ingredients. A more controlled system with clearly separated utensils or staff assistance would make the station feel much safer. As for the buffet, the pepper chicken was very flavorful, and the potatoes with onions were another standout. The crab rangoons tasted great, but they were piled so heavily on top of one another that several became soggy instead of staying crisp. The dumplings were okay, the pork spring rolls were not especially memorable, and the vegetable spring rolls were better. The steak was good during my first trip through the buffet, but the next batch was overcooked and bland, which showed some inconsistency between refills. There were enough decent items to make the meal acceptable, but not enough standout dishes to make us excited to come back. With better temperature and texture control, more consistent batches, and stronger food-safety practices at the hibachi station, the experience could improve significantly.

Sweet homemade coleslaw, not from a large plastic tub. Catfish was delightful and wish I would have gotten that, but the fried shrimp was great. Sweet potato fries also good. Friends and open face roast beef. Looked good and was a lot of food. We brought home chocolate cake dessert made by a local lady. Would highly recommend this place. Like going back in time!

It's a cute little spot with classic car photos all over the walls and that old-school 50's diner vibe that just feels right for a morning meal. Our server was Katie, friendly and efficient. My wife and I both ordered the 2-2-2 -- two eggs cooked to order, two meats, and two pancakes. She went with scrambled eggs and bacon, I chose over-easy eggs and sausage patties. She mentioned the bacon was a little on the salty side, but I really enjoyed my sausage patties -- good flavor and cooked just right. The pancakes were the star of the show. Light, fluffy, and huge -- like small hubcaps taking over the plate. The only thing that would've made them better would be whipped butter and warm syrup. That little extra touch would have taken them over the top. Portion sizes were generous for sure, but the price caught me off guard. We both drank water and our total came to $31 for breakfast. As a former chef, I know breakfast is one of the most cost-effective meals to produce -- it's usually the best money-maker for restaurants. While the portions were solid and the food was good, the price point gives me pause. I'd come back for the hearty portions and those fluffy pancakes, but the pricing might make me think twice. 4 stars -- had to deduct one for value.

Service was very polite and attentive. I ordered a plate a fried oysters, fried chicken livers, and fried shrimp. One friend had a fish sandwich, and the other had a gyro. Food took a little longer than expected, and the soda machine wasn't working 100%, but I remained hopeful. Unfortunately my hopes were dashed when my food came. I should say, the shrimp was extremely good well seasoned crispy juicy everything you would want in fried shrimp, and my dining companion really liked the fries that came with his fish sandwich. That's about all the praise I can give it, my oysters were a little gamey, and my chicken livers were absolutely drier than the Kalahari and tasted like fishy sawdust, no amount of hot sauce saved them, and for the first time in a long time I threw out food. The fish sandwich, and gyro also didn't win any awards. They also completely forgot to bring out my friend's dessert. Right as we were finishing up a moldy spot near the ceiling AC vent dripped water right into my dining companions cup, which was just the icing on the cake, which is ironic, because we never got my friends slice of cake. This place needs a lot of help.
