Went for lunch after church on Sunday. As you walk thru the door you're greeted by a friendly down-home hostess that seems sincerely happy you're there. The wife order the fried catfish basket and I went with the fried shrimp basket. We both had macaroni and cheese plus the bbq baked beans. The fried food we both had were overly battered but the sides were excellent. We definitely enjoyed the vibe there and will be back. I loved the place. Biscuits with sausage gravy was fantastic and the atmosphere is also great. We got there 10 minutes before the close, check the hours because they close at like 2 or 3 PM. Florida Cracker is set back in a parking lot between two outdoor market stalls so it would be easy to miss. There's a little shop inside with shirts, hats, sauces etc. the restaurant is rustic but clean. Service was good. They are open until 2 pm and you can get breakfast the entire time. I had the ham and cheese omelette with potatoes and a biscuit. Serving size are large and prices are reasonable. The omelette was excellent and the potatoes and biscuit were good. What a hidden gem! Just had breakfast there this morning. This is our second visit. Both were outstanding! The food is delicious! Their biscuits and gravy are the best around. The french toast is fantastic with their homemade bread. If you are a normal human, get 1/2 service of the biscuits and gravy. If you're hungry, full order. Note, the biscuits are the size of the coffee cup and well worth ordering. Also, order the bacon. Trust me. (Pass on the potatoes -- and the coffee is okay. Not LaVassa, but drinkable.) Went to the Monday flea market and father's market so stopped in for an early lunch. Breakfast all day ( til 2p) and lunch. We got the chopped brisket lunch with 2 sides. They have 4 types of bbq sauce if you'd like. Really didn't need it but fun to try. They have a bbq sauce station and you squeeze the bottles like udders! Nice place with nice people who work there. $14.99 for that huge lunch. We did share it and couldn't finish it! read more

Waited to order, waited 30 minutes to be asked if I had received my food, found out it wasn't even put in to the kitchen. Waited another 15 minutes as I was hungry, saw it put onto counter, nobody paid any attention as it sat there for another 5 minutes. I finally walked out. Unbelievable,,, I will never go back. New location, and this kitchen is already hustling and bustling! I was skeptical when someone mentioned that the food was bland. It's not true. Best way to put their food is this. Their kitchen equipment is newer. It hasn't gone through years of grilling, searing, boiling, smoking, sautéing, etc. Imagine brisket from a new smoker vs a used smoker. Getting back to this location, the service was nice. We got sat immediately for breakfast on Christmas Eve and everyone was in great spirits. I would definitely come back to try more now that there's a closer location to Clermont, and give the food some time. Pretty soon you'll be tasting those ageless flavors left from used kitchenware that, in my opinion, complete the southern meal flavor. read more

Breakfast very good. Husband enjoyed the homemade corn beef hash, but still didn't top the best he's ever had @ Robert's Diner in Tucson, AZ. I'd try grits next time because fried potatoes were a bit dry. Biscuits were good, but they were dense, not light and fluffy. Kielbasa served was a very generous portion and could not finish it. Eggs were cooked perfectly. The servers here are some of the friendliest and most welcoming we've encountered since living in Florida! Breakfast came to $48 with coffee, juice, side of tomato gravy (which was tasty, but not like I remember from my grandma), and tip. So pretty reasonable. They do add on a service fee for using a credit card, which bugs me. Will return to try some if their lunch items. Also very cute inside! read more

Second time dining here... first time was for lunch. Place was rocking - very busy. The waitresses work all the tables together - sharing tips. It appears to work cause our service was great! Portions are huge!! Lots of meat.. SAUSAGE GRAVY IS TO DE FOR!! OMG! Although my breakfast was very good (Webster special) had I known their gravy was so yummy -totally would have gotten something with that!! Burrito had tons of meat... and the brisket omelette was moan worthy! Truly it's a fun place with a great "small town" atmosphere! Love that the customers are ranchers/cowboys. Had the Chicken Fried Steak, plated along the side of some Scramble Eggs with cheese on top, accompanied by Toast and Grits. Food was SUPER YUMMY and their menu choices are great. Loved the fact that I can have both breakfast and lunch, served in the same plate during my lunch time. Parking is a bit small but it is located in a calm, and long lengthy street, where you can find additional parking any where along that stretch. The inside of this Incredible Gem is located in the extremely courageous community of Webster, Florida. A Heaven sent, given that Webster, Florida is a very quiet, safe, and close-knit small town, with very little entertainment or eat- outs to offer. So....... do not think it over twice, get out and go visit these good folks, you won't regret their top notch customer service, food, and a hint of a discount shopping spree; which happens every Monday morning, at the Flea Market located within walking distance of this marvelous eatery. Went this past Saturday morning Server dropped food and never came back. We wanted to place a order to take home, we waited 20 mins after we finished our breakfast and decide to just pay and leave. Not the service we expected, Brooksville has amazing service always!! We will just drive to that location next time. Super cute, love the cows out front. FL cracker lives up to it's name. I had the brisket omelet and it was about as flavored as an unsalted cracker. Waitress was super nice so i just ate the toast and had my coffee. I don't like to be a hassle since it wasn't her fault. Pancakes are great I just wanted to try something different. Steer clear of the omelet and skillet potatoes. Potatoes were poorly cooked as well. Pancakes n coffee will be the way to go. Tip your waitress tho, they are amazing. read more

My hubby and I were in Bushnell to visit family at the Evergreen Cemetery. On our way home, we stopped here for lunch and what a treat! I had the chipped pork sandwich, which had such great flavor. The BBQ sauce bar had 4 selections, each with a distinct flavor. My Hubby had the kielbasa and eggs with potatoes and toast. He cleaned that plate! The kielbasa had a little char and the potatoes were good a crispy. The staff is super friendly and the owner comes around to evey table to ask how everythung was. After a great lunch we swung by the little farmers market next door for some fresh, vine ripe tomatoes. We came here for the first time for lunch . We had the brisket platter. The brisket was extremely dry and the french fries were undercooked. The coleslaw however was good. We had excellent service by our waitress and the ambience is par for the course for the area. read more

My wife and I went for breakfast with a group of friends a week ago and had an overall good experience. Service was acceptable, not fantastic, and the food was good. My wife ordered a breakfast sandwich that was definitely a 10. It was served on grilled Texas toast. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette and it was probably the smallest omelette I've ever seen in my life. Considering the price of menu items and the cost of the ingredients that goes into them it really should've been twice the size read more

This restaurant is in the middle of the Webster flea market. The old times Florida vibe was cool with wooden walls and floor. They were playin a Bellamy Brothers sound track (band from Florida), which set a cool atmosphere. They sold a few souvenir type things in the front. The waitress was nice. These are the reasons I gave it two stars. The first thing we didn't like is that it has very little on the menu for vegetarians. The next thing was that there were no prices on the menu. There were also no prices on the ticket. You found out how much you owed when you went to pay. We ordered the 1 glass of orange juice, 2 orders of grits, skillet potatoes, and a 4 stack of blueberry pancakes. The potatoes were blackened burned, about 6" wide on a salad plate with onions. We told the waitress they were burned. She said that's the way they come. The grits came in a 3" bowl. The pancakes were large. They are served with sugar cane syrup and thawed frozen blueberries on top. They tasted okay. Pretty much flavorless.. a little burned. The grits were okay. Just a small serving. If the food was good, we'd consider returning. It came to $24. We still have no clue how much each item cost. It just looked like the cook hated life. We won't be back. read more
