this place is my go-to place now, Im kinda new in this area, didnt expect that i would find my barber place so fast in such a short amount of time. Tony did an amazing job since my hair is kinda tricky to cut, but he still killed it solid. read more

If you're looking for this Wolf's Head to emulate the quality of the one downtown, you will be disappointed. I don't think my hair is that complex; however, the guy that cut my hair kept going over it again and again. After he said he finished lining up my part and tapering the back of my head, he decided to just keep going when it was fine the way it was. This ordeal probably added on an unnecessary 30 minutes. After I finished the hair cut, I took a picture of the back of my head and it wasn't even the taper I asked for. It just looked like I took a razor and just did it myself. I love the Wolf's Head downtown, but this one just didn't cut it read more

I found this new location by accident. I tried to get a last minute cut at the downtown location before Christmas but couldn't get in. I was re-directed to Goleta and I'm glad I made the drive. The atmosphere and music are great and there is lots of parking, which is a bonus. Enrique cut my hair and did a fantastic job. His attention to detail was on point and I appreciated how he communicated to me what he was doing. I wasn't worried at all but it was still refreshing to see how he and the others there care about their customers. Little things like that go a long way in customer satisfaction. I will definitely return and will also refer people to Wolf's Head in Goleta. read more

We used to go to the downtown location and it's so nice to be able to park easily and walk in to the new location. Christian was super responsive to make a last minute appt through Yelp. Ricky did a fantastic job with my son's hair. Most barbers take too much off the top and he took off the exact amount we asked him to. read more

Wolf's Head has the best barbers in Santa Barbara & Goleta that I know of, and A+ tier service. I've gotten competitively priced, flawless cuts, every time with no hassle at all. The one time that I ever had to wait due to a communication error, my haircut was comped and I was given some dope Wolf's Head merch, as if a free haircut wasn't enough. They treat you right at Wolf's Head and they've been my go-to barbershop since I first set foot in there. If you're looking for someone to cut you right, this is it. Don't do yourself a disservice by overlooking these professionals. read more

Went in there to get a haircut and got hooked up with Tony and he did an amazing job. Will definitely be back again!!

Great cuts in Goleta without going far from UCSB, very professional and offers complimentary refreshments. Will go back again.

Great cut, very nice barbers and good music ... and they are open on Sunday. I highly recommend them. I'll be back.

Went in there to get a haircut and got hooked up with Ryan and he did an amazing job. Took his time and great conversation. I will for sure come back! read more

Great barbershop with a fantastic atmosphere. They don't take card, but have an ATM available. No TVs and good music, which I prefer. Ryan did a great job on my hair, and was a really nice guy. I will definitely be coming back there for my haircuts. read more

I finally found a place for a great cut. My fade is on point!! I recommend making an appointment first, it's worth it. Jerry got my all the together, he cleaned me up. read more

They cancelled my appointment the morning I scheduled it for with no explanation, the day before a big holiday weekend. When I scheduled it online I saw they had openings all day. By the time I woke up and tried to make another appointment everything was booked and they wouldn't even pick up the phone at the shop. read more

Love going to Wolf's Head Barber Shop. They are all SUPER CHILL! It does not feel awkward what so ever as many shops can have that feeling but not at Wolf's Head. Service is great! Couldn't ask for any better barber shop in Goleta! Anthony Patlan is the best barber I've ever had. All the barbers are super chill and will have a conversation with you if you are willing to talk, if not, don't worry they respect everyone's wishes. I always recommend this place to everyone who asks me for my barber. I get a lot of people at work who ask me where I got my haircut and every single time I say Wolf's Head. You get your money's worth in my opinion. The vibe there is different and it feels great to walk inside. They play music in the background which is GREAT! You just have a good time there and if you are having a good time, everyone in there is having a good time. We all just vibin' and it's the greatest feeling in the world! Looking for a fresh cut? Come make your appointment at Wolf's Head Barber Shop. All you have to do is go to their website or even give the shop a call if you are old fashioned and book an appointment. Easy as that. read more

Tony was really cool. Fun to talk to and has great attention to detail. He'll take his time with the cut rather than rush you in and out and that really shows his pride in his work and his professionalism. The building is extremely comfortable and has a very relaxing vibe. Great experience. read more

Solid cut. Walked in and waited 20 min. Asked for a bald fade and the barber did amazing job with the cut and precise detailing.

Started my appointment on time. Gave me a solid cut and styled my hair. The employees were nice and I'd definitely come back here. Unlike other places, these guys understand that you're there to get a good cut, not explain your life story. They got the art down. read more

I just had my first haircut at Wolf's Head Barber Shop by Tony Alvarado. After about 4-5 haircuts at different shops throughout Santa Barbara and Goleta, Tony is by far the nicest, fastest, and most thorough Barber I've been to since moving to SB. HIGHLY recommend visiting Wolfe's Head. read more

I have trusted Ezra with my hair for years now, and I wouldn't go to anyone else. His level of professionalism and dedication to his work is so appreciated and hard to find. He takes his time and I never feel rushed. Truly one of a kind! read more

I had Tony Alvarado for a cut and he did a great job. Wolfshead is a great barbershop and has a super cool vibe. They even serve beer if you're 21 and will bar you up. It's super close to Iv too if you don't wanna drive far read more

Awesome place. Tony gave me an impeccable haircut. Best haircut I've ever received in fact. I look forward to going back!

Cool people, but when my barber asked me what i was getting i said "faux hawk fade, only the top" and there was confusion on what i wanted. He didnt know what it was. Im almost positive the other barbers overheard what i was saying , so either there is lack of communication between them or none of them knew what a faux hawk fade is. I ended up saying "just give me a fade" and although the fade came out alright, it was far from the best ive gotten. It's disappointing walking in to a barber shop and expecting professional service and walking out feeling like you got a haircut from a buddy and not a professional barber. read more

Ricky is the best!!! My boyfriend goes there all the time and comes back looking sharp! Great vibes and customer service!

Tony gives amazing haircuts. His attention to detail is impeccable. I would recommend this barbershop to anyone. Note that because of the detail, the cut can take almost an hour, so plan ahead. read more

Everyone was very friendly and professional. The space is clean and has interesting decorations to look at while your hair is cut. My haircut and beard trim were done very precisely--the barber who helped me took his time to make sure it was just right. read more

Barbershop was cool and had this rugged look to it, which I liked. Besides that, there wasn't anything to like. I am very particular with haircuts I get. Going along with that, I expect a very well executed haircut with my particular cut. I get a simple low-fade with a line-up. The fade part was good, but the line-up was something else. I have unsymmetrical lines and it really bothers me. I didn't ask to try and get it fixed because the damage was already done and feared that my hairline would get pushed really far back. I was at the point where I rather cut my losses and try again with another barber when my hair grew back. Usually when I go to barbershops, they will also offer to line you up with a straight razor (helps keep your haircut looking nicer for a longer duration), but it seemed as if the barber was trying to get me out of the chair and seemed hesitant to do it once I asked. I guess for the $30+tip, I was expecting a great haircut and ended up leaving with a below average cut. Barbers didn't seem to care to much contact with customers, let alone with other barbers. One barber had his headphones in sitting next to another barber while music was playing the whole time. My barber hardly talked to me and I felt as if I had to force conversation (ended up just staying silent, scrolling through social media).More than likely, I wont be returning. read more
