I visited them all to find a new pair of shade and none of them had what I wanted except for Solstice. They carry the latest styles and trends. The worker at Sunglasses Hut even asked me where I purchased mine because she hasn't seen any around. Cons: they don't carry Chanel products (only Nordstrom) and rarely any sales are offered. If any sales happen, there will be exclusive brands like Gucci etc. which are most popular brands so pretty much I can't use any discounts. The customer service is great. The store is clean, decent looking.

Besides, the old ones were leaching green metallic oxide every now and then - "Dad, your cheeks are green!" Walking on State Street with the missus today, I noticed that this shop had a sale on Ray Bans, and in we went, like moths to a flame. Michael, the shop proprietor, was a great help, pointing me to the sunglasses I needed (polarized, UV resistant, comfortable) and helping me select the right pair. Both sets had to be redone and I had to go back in for another eye exam to sort things out. I will not be going back there for exams again. The staff are super courteous but the system is not good at all. They send you texts saying your glasses are ready, but they aren't actually ready. You swing by and find out that you have to wait for a call from them before they are ready for pickup. So I had to just ignore multiple texts saying my glasses were ready, and wasted time making a trip to the store. By the time I'm about to pick up the glasses the second time I have very little faith that things will turn out OK. I was understanding and courteous the entire time, but it was frustrating. When I picked them up they were good the second time, but the fitting was rushed and I felt like the staff member just wanted to get me out of there quickly. Final note: the prices. They may not have any control over this at the store but the pricing is just too high. Luxottica is ripping people off. I have very good insurance (EyeMed) and haven't gotten glasses or contacts in 2 years, yet I still had to pay hundreds of dollars to get these new ones. That's just not right. Next time I'm going elsewhere.

My brother ended up leaving with a few boards that Doug hooked up for us and even took the time to pack it up nice in tight in a board bag with some good padding he supplied. These guys were understanding and helpful and in our process. Would recommend to anyone.
