I stumbled upon this brand at a boutique. I purchased a shirt and my husband loved it. We were going up north and wanted to visit their store in Santa Barbara. Very relaxed environment. Beautiful store. Friendly and laid back employees. We ended up purchasing a few shirts and a pair of jeans. They hem the pants and keep your measurements on file so if you want to buy online in the future you can. All in all a great product soft and durable fabrics - really high quality stuff. My husband gets lots of compliments. This place is a gem. read more

I originally saw Ace Rivington on social media and, honestly, I just decided out of the blue to give a pair a try. I figured I'd see what they were all about. Fast forward a little while and I'm now at eight pairs. I wear jeans every day, and these have quickly become the only jeans I want to wear. Up until last week, my favorite pair was the Carpenter. I had been waiting for months for the Easy Riders to come back in stock, and when they finally did earlier this month, I was able to get the pair I'd been waiting for. I got them last Wednesday, and I'm not kidding when I say I haven't worn anything else since. They're that good. The Italian denim feels amazing, and the fit and quality are just on another level compared to anything else I've owned. And I have to mention Beau. I've talked with him a couple of times, and this guy is an absolute rockstar. He's incredibly knowledgeable, super helpful, and just genuinely one of the nicest people you'll ever deal with. You can tell he really cares about the product and the people who buy it, and that makes a huge difference. It's pretty crazy to think I randomly saw these on social media, decided to try one pair, and now I own eight. I wear them every day, and I honestly don't see that changing anytime soon. If you're thinking about trying Ace Rivington, just do it. You might end up like me with a closet full of them. read more

Owner is rude and completely full of himself. I wouldn't buy these jeans if they were the last pair on the planet. The fit isn't great, the cut isn't clean, and overall they just look baggy and shabby. Definitely not worth it. Great for BETA MEN read more

Great store in downtown Santa Barbara for men's clothes. They carry their own line of clothing along with offerings from other brands. They had lots of great men's clothing along with a nice aesthetic inside. The staff was extremely kind and they also gave us great recommendation for places to eat/things to see in Santa Barbara. read more

What an amazing, thoughtfully curated store! We loved everything--especially the incredible denim selection. Brady was so friendly; we could've chatted with him all day. Such a fun experience! We left with a bag full of goodies and can't wait to come back. read more

The service and quality of clothing here is unmatched! One of the last exceptional stores in Santa Barbara and I hope it sticks around. If your looking for stylish high quality mens clothing, this is your stop. Tip to owner: some guests were being offered a special beverage, we were not offered anything and spent $500. Share the love with all customers or keep the offerings more discreet read more

-How lucky to have a quality clothier with such excellent customer service right here in our home town of Santa Barbara.

Awesome service from the gentleman named Fox! Really enjoyed the store, haven't been to this part of State Street in quite a while so this new pop-up was awesome. I didn't want to take off the jeans after trying them on, but know that I'll be back to add some of these to my wardrobe Their lifetime warranty on their denim also makes it great value for me, would rather have a beautiful pair that lasts a lifetime then have to buy cheap jeans over and over. read more

Ace Rivington - Really cool store, a gentleman named Fox helped me out. Highly recommend it, we want to come back ASAP. - Men's Clothing Near Me - Santa Barbara, California

Quality and great service is what you really need to know. The clothes here are top notch and trendy. You can even have jeans custom made for your size. After buying my husband clothes from here online, we had to stop in the store while in Santa Barbara. What a great experience talking to Beau and shopping in person. My husband loves the flannels and jeans from here not only for the quality but the fit too. Plus there are also toiletries and accessories to put together a whole fit. Yes, they are pricey compared to what you'll find at kohl's or stores like that but you get what you pay for. Check out the online store or shop in person. Make sure you chat with Beau too, he's super nice and happy you stopped in. read more

I always find something nice to wear at Ace Rivington. Ace Rivington was one of the first men's stores I shopped at when I moved back to SB several years ago. They helped me create my new SB look, from head to toe, and with lots of accessories as well. And now at their new location, just right around the corner and now on State Street, their selection of seasonal shirts and denim is fantastic. And now looking forward to the Fall fashions that they have coming in. Conveniently located across the street from Satellite Wine Bar, and in between Mizza Pizza and Anderson's Bakery. Quite the fun block. read more

I am a semi-frequent flyer at Ace Rivington. I have four of the flannel shirts and I am completely in love with them. They fit perfectly (with 36" long arms, finding shirts with sleeves long enough is a challenge). The weight and construction of the shirt is perfect for spring and fall days, as well as evenings on the sea. My short sleeve travel shirt with the maps always gets compliments when I'm out and about, as does my other short sleeved shirt. I may try the jeans... a set of well fit jeans would certainly compliment the excellent shirts. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Yes, they are Santa Barbara prices, but you get an expert fit and you look better for it. Glad to hear that Beau has the new and larger store open. Can't wait to see what he's got hanging around when I'm back in December. read more

Ace Rivington is clearly a leader in its market because: -Their product (jeans)is top of the line, it exudes quality in every detail, it feels just right on your skin, the fabric is super posh. -Their customer service is truly extraordinary, they solved problems due to my own doubts to decide which ones of their excelent jeans I was to keep. I bought 2 pairs, possibly the last ones I'll buy in a long time, and the next ones are sure to be Ace Rivingtons. Thanks to Marco and the rest of the team! read more

Super cool store and the owner is very friendly and helpful. I bought Father's Day gifts way in advance.

truly such a fantastic business - before we moved here we went in and got the best soft t-shirts you can find (and restaurant tips too from the owner - friendliest person you can meet). now that we are SB residents we have returned again and again (the clothes are so well made and wear very well for a long time) and today our little guy scored a t-shirt and it made his day! love businesses that really are a part of the community and treat customers incredibly well. if you don't have one (or 10) - highly recommend their sweatshirts!! read more

Gorgeous, high quality clothing made with significant detail and authentic love. We strolled in to get out of the unusual Santa Barbara rain and were warmly welcomed in by Selinda and the sounds of the 40s jazz and big band music. Did I mention the large screen playing the original Frankenstein - well there was one. Ace Rivington was like stepping back in time, back when things were slower, done with more care, made to last. For example, tailored jeans. Jeans made to fit the lucky owner. Designed with pride by the owner, along with all of his Ace Rivington line. We went in to shop and left having had an awesome experience!! When you're in Santa Barbara you must stop in. read more

Right outta the bag, I put these bad boys on and knew they were the best jeans I've ever put on. HIGHLY recommend these guys for their superior product and excellent customer service. I had a problem entering the first time promo code so I called and spoke to Tyler Fox and he was able to help me. He was an absolute pleasure to talk to. They got my order out to me literally 2 days after making the purchase. BUY THESE JEANS. Great value! read more

Bountiful selection of unique, thoughtful designs for men. Unfortunately a female store employee whose name we did not catch yesterday was incredibly rude and unnecessarily argumentative toward my boyfriend when he kindly explained he had found a snag in his shirt after purchase. Completely absurd at any price point let alone this one, and we will not be returning as a result. If any of the males we interacted with were working, I would highly recommend; however, I would not roll the dice with customer service. read more

Great shopping experience & jeans made by the people who own the store. Very soft T-shirts and well-fitting jeans. They hem & ship so my husband will get his in a few days. The denim is fab. Great washes. Also great quality leather belts. Low pressure to buy but the owners are doing a great job. Don't pass up this cool Santa Barbara buy. read more

With the Holidays just around the corner, I'm always brainstorming local, small businesses to support by purchasing gift for others. With that said, it usually ends with a gift for myself too :X. Ace Rivington has recently relocated to a store off State Street at La Arcada (previously Socorro) in downtown Santa Barbara. Many people happen to discover it by word of mouth, social media, their good reputation, or happening upon it while on vacation. Coming across a shop, let alone one that's boutique, which specializes in mainly men's clothing is few and far between. Not only that, Ace Rivington's quality and service is comparable to none. I was fortunate to check out their new space and meet the owner Beau. He told me the story of how Ace Rivington came to be and the fictional story behind the name. After years working for a commercial denim company, his store has 'hit the press' by focusing on high-quality denim that is all made locally in California and has the lowest impact on the environment. He sources the denim fabric from a Candiani Denim Mill in Italy and uses laser-wash versus potassium which can be dangerous to those who produce the jeans. They're so transparent that the website lists their Supply Chain (listed below the review)! Even better, each pair of denim purchased automatically comes with FREE: + Tailoring services! (Makes those jeans fit your body perfectly) + Returns! (Not a fan, not a problem!) + Lifetime warranty of free repairs and alterations! (Tear, broken button/zipper, change in body habitus? They got your back!) They don't only stop at denim jeans but also sell high-end: - Shoes and socks - Hats - Homespun sweatshirts and newly release heavy-brushed flannels - Blankets- Belts - Masks Of course, their items come with a pretty large price tag. However, I keep an eye out for seasonal sales. Their products are wrapped in awesome tissue paper with a map guide of downtown Santa Barbara. Doesn't get more local than that! Something that makes Ace Rivington even more amazing is that they donate a portion of their profits to various fundraisers. In the past, these have included: 1% for the planet, Santa Barbara County Food Bank, Santa Barbara Independent Living Resource Center, and the Thomas Fire/Mudslide. This alone is 5-star worthy! Go check them out this Holiday season and spoil your loved ones with a shopping spree and lasting, stylish clothes that will last them a lifetime. Supply Chain: Fabric Mill: Candiani/ Robecchetto, Italy Sewing Factory: Factory One Studio/ Los Angeles, CA Thread: American & Efird Back Patch: Medike Leathers/ Ontario, Canada Labels: Tagtime USA/ Los Angeles, CA Denim Laundry: Blue River/ Los Angeles, CA. read more

Ace Rivington - Super cute window displays! - Men's Clothing Near Me - Santa Barbara, California

I've been an online customer of Ace Rivington for years, but finally had the opportunity to visit the Santa Barbara store in person last week. Wow!!! I was blown away at the live shopping experience. The entire staff, from the owner Beau, and the rest of the team were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful as I made my way around the store. I happened to be wearing a pair of my Ace Rivington "Athletic Tapered" jeans and the staff immediately gave me tips on the tailoring/alterations that might be needed to make these jeans fit more comfortably. These were already my favorite jeans I wear, but after getting a personal fitting from the team at Ace, my jeans are truly customized just for me. In life, you get what you pay for and there is no doubt, but I will be an Ace customer for life. Well done to the entire team up at Ace Rivington and I'm already planning my next pilgrimage to Santa Barbara with my friends/family to show them the store in person. Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for something special! read more

Wish I could give more stars! From the selection, the customer service, to the ownership - 10/10!

I was in the store way back in late June of this past summer. I was just about to order some beanies online - I am reminded of the the time I shopped here and I can't forget to mention the awesomely friendly experience I had in the store. The gentleman helping me was so friendly and helpful. We were visiting the Santa Barbara area before making our way down to San Diego. I wish I could recall his name but he was so kind and even gave me a map of the area and drew in some great pointers on where to go while we were in town. Great restaurants and beaches were suggested. Can't thank him enough, you just don't find that kind of service nowadays:) read more

You cannot beat the service here! It is a bit on the pricey side but with all of the attention to detail, style and service, you will get your money worth. I have been several times and loved everything I purchased. I even had them add some patches to one slick denim vest I got as a gift (that also purchased here) and they did a great job at a fair price. It is a cool shop to wonder through even if not buying right away. I have also seen one of the owners, Beau, offering plenty of good local advice on places to go and eat to interested visitors. Great business and SB ambassadors!! We will be back for sure. read more

We came in here after searching for men's clothing places in Santa Barbara. The owner, Beau, is not only a great host in his store, but a great host for Santa Barbara in general! 2 minutes into being in the store he asked how long we were in town, then gave us amazing recommendations for food and drinks in the area. My husband got 2 short sleeve shirts made by Beau (the owner and designer) that we're super cute and well fitting, an awesome weekender bag, and the best piece was a leather belt that was fitted and personalized specifically for him. The quality of everything we bought was A+, and the service was even better. Can not recommend this place enough. They're opening their line of women's clothing in August! read more

Superlative. Just great in every way. Beau provides terrific customer service, as so many other reviewers have noted, and the quality of the jeans, belts and other items is top-notch. The store itself is interesting and inviting; you can see the care and passion that went into it. There is a big video screen at the back so they can offer the community movie nights at the store--how cool is that? My experience here was superb and I really enjoyed meeting Beau. I will be back many times. read more

I don't write many reviews but I felt compelled because I love my jeans from Ace. I bought my first pair when they were a pop up shop in the Funk Zone and they have been my favorite pair of jeans ever since. Beau knows denim and has a passion that translates into each pair. I cleared my closet of all my old jeans and now have 4 pair of Ace. Just bought my 4th pair last week in raw selvage and Beau altered the length right on the spot! Didn't have to wait or come back for them. Do yourself a favor and buy some jeans from Ace Rivington made right here in California. read more

Stumbling upon Ace Rivington was the very best thing I did on a recent trip to Santa Barbara (and that comes after lots of great food, wine, and more)! Beau, his passion for his craft and the quality of the denim at Ace Rivington can't be beat. I've searched long and hard for jeans that actually fit me (as a tall guy - finding anything over 34" inseam seems impossible)... not here. The quality of this denim is matched only by the wonderful and personalized service I received on my visit. I'd make a special trip back to Santa Barbara just to visit Ace Rivington. read more

I have been here twice now and this is a awesome store. Everyone very knowledgeable and helpful. Clothes all seems high quality and timeless. Fell in love with their high quality clothing some time ago, but today I fell in love with their unbelievable customer service and support. Life will always have challenges, including every business, and in my book the true measure of character is how one responds to challenges. A while ago I bought some jeans and shirts from Ace Rivington. I can say now that they're some if my favorite articles of clothing and haven't lost their shape or color despite heavy use. The jeans are excellent and are a permanent part of my rotation. Additionally, I bought a niche fragrance at AR called the Saint Rita Parlor signature fragrance. It's hands down one of the best fragrances I own and I wouldn't have found it had it not been at AR.
